0:00:05 > 0:00:11Five, four, three, two, one.

0:00:11 > 0:00:15And it is a go for launch.

0:00:37 > 0:00:38Commence lift-off.

0:00:38 > 0:00:38Commence lift-off.

0:00:38 > 0:00:46There was a time when a launch meant a launch meant a launch.

0:00:46 > 0:00:50It was something big, something special.

0:00:50 > 0:00:54Something to remember.

0:00:54 > 0:00:59Something could go into orbit or go up in flames.

0:01:02 > 0:01:05Ignition sequence start.

0:01:05 > 0:01:08These days, launches also look like this.

0:01:13 > 0:01:16And this week in September, the tech world is going launch crazy.

0:01:16 > 0:01:19Apple is fuelling the good ship iPhone.

0:01:19 > 0:01:23Sony has started a PlayStation countdown.

0:01:23 > 0:01:26And everyone else has been over at IFA, launching

0:01:26 > 0:01:28everything they can.

0:01:28 > 0:01:33But are any going to be stellar?

0:01:33 > 0:01:36Or is everyone just having a launch because they feel they should?

0:01:36 > 0:01:39Let's find out.

0:01:39 > 0:01:40If you're ready.

0:01:40 > 0:01:43Let's do launch.

0:01:43 > 0:01:47And if you can't get to space, these days, space can come to you.

0:01:47 > 0:01:53There is Jupiter.

0:01:53 > 0:01:54There's Saturn.

0:01:54 > 0:01:56And all its moons.

0:01:56 > 0:01:58It's whistling past Uranus.

0:01:58 > 0:02:04And onto Neptune.

0:02:04 > 0:02:08Yes, I've got my hands on the first device to use

0:02:08 > 0:02:10Google's Project Tango, something we saw in prototype

0:02:10 > 0:02:11a couple of years ago.

0:02:11 > 0:02:14This is a 3-D sensing system that can learn about the landscape

0:02:14 > 0:02:16that it's in.

0:02:16 > 0:02:18It uses motion tracking, area learning and twin cameras

0:02:18 > 0:02:24to determine and remember the distance to everything it sees.

0:02:24 > 0:02:27And that should lead to a more intelligent augmented reality

0:02:27 > 0:02:31experience which means you won't be just play gimmicky games any more.

0:02:31 > 0:02:37You'll be able to do sensible things too like furnish your office.

0:02:37 > 0:02:40Pick a room that needs a spruce-up and then you can drop

0:02:40 > 0:02:42in a new stool or two.

0:02:42 > 0:02:44This is not the first interior design application I've seen

0:02:44 > 0:02:47but the addition its depth perception should make this kind

0:02:47 > 0:02:50of thing more accurate.

0:02:50 > 0:02:53And if you want to rip up the room and start again,

0:02:53 > 0:03:02there is this rather finicky tape measure which does kind of show

0:03:02 > 0:03:04the limitations of those senses at the moment.

0:03:04 > 0:03:08However, on the few occasions that we have got it to work

0:03:08 > 0:03:10probably, I can confirm 1.5 metres, that it is right.

0:03:10 > 0:03:13Which is better than most tape measure apps I've used.

0:03:13 > 0:03:17That is the smart furniture sorted and now we need a smart home for it

0:03:17 > 0:03:19to go in.

0:03:19 > 0:03:24Now we go to Europe's largest tech expo, IFA.

0:03:24 > 0:03:26There are many new smart home technology concepts launched at IFA.

0:03:26 > 0:03:29Over the past few years, we have learned about

0:03:29 > 0:03:37the Internet of things.

0:03:37 > 0:03:44From refrigerators growing herbs to quick drying hair extensions.

0:03:44 > 0:03:48And of course, the connected home.

0:03:48 > 0:03:54So for ?,1500, you can get this connected system from Laurastar.

0:03:54 > 0:03:57So for ?1,500, you can get this connected system from Laurastar.

0:03:57 > 0:03:59You might wonder why that it is useful.

0:03:59 > 0:04:04You can use the app to make the perfect movement.

0:04:04 > 0:04:07There are no sensors in this ironing board cover but you have folding

0:04:07 > 0:04:19lines here to perfect your technique with kids clothes and men's shirts.

0:04:19 > 0:04:21There's also a fan to keep things cool.

0:04:21 > 0:04:23Connected kitchen concepts are already here including this

0:04:23 > 0:04:25rather impressive display from Panasonic.

0:04:25 > 0:04:28The concept of this future kitchen is that it is really

0:04:28 > 0:04:28in the background.

0:04:28 > 0:04:32The comfort and the ease of use is in the foreground.

0:04:32 > 0:04:34This includes a sake fridge which maintains temperature

0:04:34 > 0:04:37and humidity and recommends recipes for your drinks and is connected

0:04:37 > 0:04:40to sensors in the fridge which keeps an eye on when ingredients

0:04:40 > 0:04:43are running low and orders them from an online shop for you.

0:04:43 > 0:04:48All this data is passed on to a very clever hub which starts warming up

0:04:48 > 0:04:50at the right temperature to cook your selection.

0:04:50 > 0:04:53The induction heaters even extend your kitchen table so you can

0:04:53 > 0:04:55keep your food warm.

0:04:55 > 0:04:58When you finish cooking, you can relax and watch television

0:04:58 > 0:05:01on a transparent glass door in your cupboards and also receive

0:05:01 > 0:05:04a notification that your laundry has been filled

0:05:04 > 0:05:07in by the robot next door.

0:05:07 > 0:05:13And slightly more practical than a laundry robot,

0:05:13 > 0:05:15Chinese company Haier has made a washing machine with two drums

0:05:15 > 0:05:19and an app to control them when you are away but the question

0:05:19 > 0:05:23is, how many people are using any of this stuff at the moment?

0:05:23 > 0:05:26There's a very strong technology push right now.

0:05:26 > 0:05:29In terms of features,

0:05:29 > 0:05:31all appliances are connected.

0:05:31 > 0:05:32The consumer part is slightly lower.

0:05:32 > 0:05:36I'm sure it will grow and our brand will be fully ready

0:05:36 > 0:05:39to serve the consumer.

0:05:39 > 0:05:43Robots are being integrated to smartphone concepts as well.

0:05:43 > 0:05:46These cuties are called Sanbots, similar to the robots we saw serving

0:05:46 > 0:05:50food in China.

0:05:50 > 0:05:53They are designed to do a wide variety of jobs including healthcare

0:05:53 > 0:06:07assistant and security guard.

0:06:07 > 0:06:10People sometimes say I am too chubby to be a security guard.

0:06:10 > 0:06:15Why?

0:06:15 > 0:06:17But I am pretty nimble.

0:06:17 > 0:06:19It has three cameras, projectors for eyes and sensors over

0:06:19 > 0:06:22the body and will do a dance on command.

0:06:22 > 0:06:24But the cutest home robot I have

0:06:24 > 0:06:26seen yet is Sony's concept Xperia Agent.

0:06:26 > 0:06:29He made me a coffee and played me a song afterwards.

0:06:29 > 0:06:31It could be a rival to Amazon's Smart speaker,

0:06:31 > 0:06:34the Echo, and represents Sony's plans to expand into intelligence

0:06:34 > 0:06:36robots which have an emotional connection with their user.

0:06:36 > 0:06:40This could expand into manufacturing facilities, logistics,

0:06:40 > 0:06:43elderly healthcare, just to name a few and so we will start small,

0:06:43 > 0:06:47maybe with things like a home robot but there is so much more in terms

0:06:47 > 0:06:51of applications with our technology and we intend to cover those areas

0:06:51 > 0:06:56in a big way.

0:06:56 > 0:06:59Putting all these technologies to the test, Panasonic announced

0:06:59 > 0:07:07a future smart city project right here in Berlin.

0:07:07 > 0:07:09By 2018, 69 flats will host families representing Germany's demographics.

0:07:09 > 0:07:11They will test everything from facial recognition

0:07:11 > 0:07:15to artificial intelligence platforms to assist elderly residents.

0:07:15 > 0:07:18It will be powered by hydrogen fuel cells and solar panels,

0:07:18 > 0:07:19have electric currents and collective decision-making

0:07:19 > 0:07:21on areas of technology to develop.

0:07:21 > 0:07:24This could bring smarter and more connected ways of living

0:07:24 > 0:07:27to all of us before the next decade.

0:07:27 > 0:07:34Welcome to the week in Tech.

0:07:34 > 0:07:39While Apple, Sony and others have been screaming from the rooftops,

0:07:39 > 0:07:44the hottest news came from Samsung.

0:07:44 > 0:07:47After cancelling orders for the Note 7, after issues with units

0:07:47 > 0:07:54exploding, UK consumers were told they would be able to get new ones.

0:07:54 > 0:07:57In a 'whose side are you on' twist, Warner Brothers inadvertently

0:07:57 > 0:08:03requested its own website be taken out of Google's search,

0:08:03 > 0:08:12suggesting it was in breach of copyright.

0:08:12 > 0:08:13Oops.

0:08:15 > 0:08:17Hopefully my furniture and books will arrive.

0:08:17 > 0:08:25Amazon on taking on food-delivery groups Deliveroo and Uber Eats.

0:08:25 > 0:08:28Amazon's restaurants will be for prime users only.

0:08:28 > 0:08:30It is only available in some postcodes.

0:08:30 > 0:08:36And finally, a Pokemon GO player in Russia could face up to five

0:08:36 > 0:08:41years in jail after filming himself playing a game in charge.

0:08:41 > 0:08:47Video blogger Ruslan Sokolovsky is in jail charged with mocking

0:08:47 > 0:08:48religious beliefs while he awaits trial.

0:08:48 > 0:08:50He is appealing the charges.

0:08:57 > 0:09:02Time for another launch.

0:09:02 > 0:09:05If you want to hurtle into no man's sky on a videogames console,

0:09:05 > 0:09:07you will need to be a PS4.

0:09:07 > 0:09:11It is an exclusive, you know?

0:09:11 > 0:09:15But will it be the current PS4 or the new PS4 or the other new PS4?

0:09:15 > 0:09:22Confused?

0:09:22 > 0:09:26We were as well but here is Mark Cieslak with full launch coverage.

0:09:26 > 0:09:29PlayStation head honcho Andrew House did not waste any time announcing

0:09:29 > 0:09:33the worst kept secret in games at this week's at Sony's presser

0:09:33 > 0:09:39in New York.

0:09:39 > 0:09:42We will introduce a PS4 system that is slimmer,

0:09:42 > 0:09:49lighter and more energy-efficient.

0:09:49 > 0:09:52BizarelyReports online of PlayStation 4 Slim is being made

0:09:52 > 0:09:52available for sale

0:09:52 > 0:10:00on eBay weeks before the console was even officially announced.

0:10:00 > 0:10:03Weird distribution issues aside, the Slim is just that,

0:10:03 > 0:10:06a PS4 that has been on a diet, which shares the same specification

0:10:06 > 0:10:09as the current machine.

0:10:09 > 0:10:13The big news was saved for the announcement of the console

0:10:13 > 0:10:26previously known as PlayStation Neo but now dubbed PlayStation 4 Pro.

0:10:26 > 0:10:29More powerfukl with 1 terabyte hard drive and upgraded hardware

0:10:29 > 0:10:31which supports improved graphics when used with a 4D TV.

0:10:31 > 0:10:33There is HDR, or high-dynamic range visuals.

0:10:33 > 0:10:35Weirdly, it doesn't have the UHT Blu-ray player.

0:10:35 > 0:10:38While the improved graphics are a big upgrade in resolution

0:10:38 > 0:10:45from the high-def images created by the current machine,

0:10:45 > 0:10:49the HDR will help by introducing extra brightness and improved

0:10:49 > 0:10:51contrast to the pictures as well.

0:10:51 > 0:10:53Games such as Horizon Zero Dawn were demonstrated with

0:10:53 > 0:10:55the machine's improved graphics.

0:10:55 > 0:10:58Sony also suggested games could be reworked to improve high-resolution

0:10:58 > 0:11:10images of which the game is capable.

0:11:10 > 0:11:13It also has extra processing grunt and pitch which will be used

0:11:13 > 0:11:14to improve the visuals.

0:11:14 > 0:11:20But is this ecosystem a good thing for gamers?

0:11:20 > 0:11:23It means there is a lower-priced console for those who cannot afford

0:11:23 > 0:11:27to buy the higher spec but at the same time

0:11:27 > 0:11:30there is a better model out there and anybody who has the lowest

0:11:30 > 0:11:36spec model will want to spend their time with the higher spec model.

0:11:37 > 0:11:42Sony is not alone in the new console stakes.

0:11:42 > 0:11:46Nintendo has a new machine waiting in the wings dubbed the NX.

0:11:46 > 0:11:49There is not much being confirmed about it yet though we do know that

0:11:49 > 0:11:58technically, it is going to be less powerful than its rivals.

0:11:58 > 0:12:03Microsoft already has its Xbox One S Slim which also

0:12:03 > 0:12:05supports HDR in games and streaming for video,

0:12:05 > 0:12:11plus it has an ultra HD Blu-ray player and it has its own hardcore

0:12:11 > 0:12:15piece of upgraded hardware in the works called Project Scorpio.

0:12:15 > 0:12:18Microsoft has something of an advantage, having already

0:12:18 > 0:12:22brought out the Xbox with the Blu-ray player which makes

0:12:22 > 0:12:26it an attractive proposition.

0:12:26 > 0:12:30They now have the chance to see what Sony is going to do to get

0:12:30 > 0:12:32the PlayStation four Pro to pull it apart,

0:12:32 > 0:12:36to see what's inside and make sure they can better it with a console

0:12:36 > 0:12:39that comes out towards the end of next year.

0:12:39 > 0:12:42For now, Sony has fired the first shot in the latest

0:12:42 > 0:12:43round of the console wars.

0:12:43 > 0:12:45The PS4 Pro launches on the 10th of November.

0:12:48 > 0:12:53Silhouettes, beautiful things.

0:12:54 > 0:12:57But sometimes we really do want to see the detail,

0:12:57 > 0:13:00and although our eyes can manage it, our cameras can't cope

0:13:00 > 0:13:04with the difference between a really bright background and a foreground

0:13:04 > 0:13:05that is in shadow.

0:13:05 > 0:13:11Which means you can only expose for one or the other.

0:13:11 > 0:13:19Personally, I would prefer the background.

0:13:19 > 0:13:23And it is only this year that a decent range of TV sets

0:13:23 > 0:13:24are beginning to offer a fix.

0:13:24 > 0:13:28It is called high dynamic range, or HDR, and it will show a greater

0:13:28 > 0:13:31range of brightness from content filmed on new HDR cameras.

0:13:31 > 0:13:34Now, different systems do it in different ways,

0:13:34 > 0:13:42but one way of achieving it is to capture each frame of video

0:13:42 > 0:13:45more than once, with different exposures, so that you can see

0:13:45 > 0:13:49the detail in the bright bits and the dark bits at the same time,

0:13:49 > 0:13:51something made abundantly clear by this Nasa project,

0:13:51 > 0:13:54which turned an ordinarily overexposed rocket burn into a thing

0:13:54 > 0:13:56of detail and beauty.

0:13:57 > 0:14:01Well, don't know about you, but I am ready for another launch

0:14:01 > 0:14:04now, so let's head back to IFA, to see which next-gen TVs have

0:14:04 > 0:14:07caught Jen's eye.

0:14:09 > 0:14:10Smolensk

0:14:10 > 0:14:11Smolensk ion over the years

0:14:15 > 0:14:18We have seen a lot of innovation in television over the years

0:14:19 > 0:14:19at trade shows.

0:14:19 > 0:14:23In fact, it has been 50 years since LG created its first television.

0:14:23 > 0:14:26To celebrate, here at IFA they have put together this

0:14:26 > 0:14:26rather remarkable display.

0:14:26 > 0:14:29It is made of 216 55-inch curved TVs.

0:14:29 > 0:14:32There are almost 500 million pixels on display here.

0:14:32 > 0:14:35But it is not the amount of pixels that have caught our attention this

0:14:35 > 0:14:37year, but the quality of them.

0:14:37 > 0:14:46High-definition televisions create more contrast,

0:14:46 > 0:14:48with brighter whites and more details in the shadows,

0:14:48 > 0:14:50leading to a more realistic picture.

0:14:50 > 0:14:53TVs classified as HDR have to meet the standard of brightness.

0:14:53 > 0:14:55This is measured in something called nits.

0:14:55 > 0:14:56It measures the intensity of visible light.

0:14:56 > 0:15:00There are two kinds of HDR television we have looked at,

0:15:00 > 0:15:02ones with dots or ones with Oled displays.

0:15:02 > 0:15:06We went behind the scenes to see the quantum dot technology.

0:15:06 > 0:15:12So new particles.

0:15:12 > 0:15:20So these are quantum dots.

0:15:20 > 0:15:23That's right, they are so small we have to put them into liquid,

0:15:23 > 0:15:25so we can actually show it.

0:15:25 > 0:15:29When the light hits the layout, we can see the different sizes that

0:15:29 > 0:15:31provides different colours.

0:15:31 > 0:15:34Quantum-dot TVs are essentially a new type of LED-backlit LCD TV.

0:15:34 > 0:15:38But there is less light wasted in the sets, and the quantum dots

0:15:38 > 0:15:41can create a pure colour.

0:15:41 > 0:15:44To demonstrate, Jose measured the purity,

0:15:44 > 0:15:49and showed us on the TV set as well.

0:15:49 > 0:15:51A spike in the reading shows the colour purity.

0:15:51 > 0:15:54These Samsung TVs are capable of achieving over 1,000

0:15:54 > 0:15:56nits in brightness.

0:15:56 > 0:15:58In comparison, a regular LCD TV can achieve about 100.

0:15:58 > 0:16:06Heading across the conference floor, Panasonic is backing

0:16:06 > 0:16:07Oled technology.

0:16:07 > 0:16:11These TVs can't yet produce the same levels of brightness as the quantum

0:16:11 > 0:16:13dots, but they don't have a backlight, so each pixel

0:16:13 > 0:16:18on the TV can be turned off, leading to darker blacks.

0:16:18 > 0:16:22The key with Oled is they can create perfect black.

0:16:22 > 0:16:26And what Panasonic have worked on a lot is taking that panel,

0:16:26 > 0:16:28which can create perfect black, and using our advanced processing

0:16:28 > 0:16:32to be able to show the shades of grey just above black.

0:16:32 > 0:16:36So you are not having just blocks of black on the screen,

0:16:36 > 0:16:39you are seeing detail in that black area.

0:16:39 > 0:16:41And why is that so important?

0:16:41 > 0:16:42Well, that is the movie experience.

0:16:42 > 0:16:46Our whole Panasonic ethos is "as the director intended."

0:16:46 > 0:16:50So we actually have here in this display, we've got a reference

0:16:50 > 0:16:53monitor, a reference Oled monitor, the kind that is used on film sets,

0:16:53 > 0:16:57and what we are trying to do is reproduce that on our screen.

0:16:57 > 0:17:02So I would say Oled is better for when you sort of pull

0:17:02 > 0:17:05the curtains, watching a movie at night, whereas LED is great

0:17:05 > 0:17:09for bright rooms, perhaps lots of people watching the football

0:17:09 > 0:17:12in the day.

0:17:12 > 0:17:14But they have both got their place, I think.

0:17:14 > 0:17:17There is another thing to think about when choosing a HDR TV.

0:17:17 > 0:17:20There are two standards for providing HDR content.

0:17:20 > 0:17:23One is called HDR-10, it is open-source, used by most TV

0:17:23 > 0:17:26companies, and the other is Dolby Vision.

0:17:26 > 0:17:30With more data, it is available in more colours, but it is not

0:17:30 > 0:17:32available for all TVs.

0:17:32 > 0:17:42One company has it for both formats.

0:17:42 > 0:17:45If you go and see the other companies, they improve the same

0:17:45 > 0:17:47picture quality with cinema and TV.

0:17:47 > 0:17:51It is not really fixed at this moment, some people are using HDR

0:17:51 > 0:17:54Dolby Vision, so no-one really knows what is going to be the standout

0:17:54 > 0:17:55in the market.

0:17:55 > 0:18:09So it is good to have both for their TV, for future-proof.

0:18:09 > 0:18:11And, if all that wasn't enough to think about,

0:18:11 > 0:18:14the BBC and NHK have approved a new standard called

0:18:14 > 0:18:16Hybrid Log-Gamma, compatible with both HDR sets.

0:18:16 > 0:18:19Yes, not the catchiest title.

0:18:19 > 0:18:20Christ!

0:18:22 > 0:18:32Have you ever rushed for the car and driven off,

0:18:32 > 0:18:40only to later realise that you've forgotten something important,

0:18:40 > 0:18:42you've left it behind?

0:18:42 > 0:18:45Well, if you are that type of person, you may be familiar

0:18:45 > 0:18:46with these sorts of things.

0:18:46 > 0:18:49These are little tags that you can attach to your valuables,

0:18:49 > 0:18:51and they talk with Bluetooth to your smartphone.

0:18:51 > 0:18:55And if you leave something behind, and the distance gets too great,

0:18:55 > 0:18:56this and your phone will bleep.

0:18:56 > 0:18:58This car takes this idea further.

0:18:58 > 0:19:02You connect your phone to the car, and up on the screen comes a list

0:19:02 > 0:19:05of all the items that you should have with you.

0:19:05 > 0:19:07And I know I have got my umbrella, for example,

0:19:07 > 0:19:09because it is tipping it down.

0:19:09 > 0:19:10There is the tag.

0:19:10 > 0:19:13If I want to find my keys in the car, just press

0:19:13 > 0:19:14that button there.

0:19:14 > 0:19:16There we go.

0:19:16 > 0:19:18There is Mr Moppity.

0:19:18 > 0:19:21Now I don't remember bringing my wallet with me,

0:19:21 > 0:19:23so hopefully that is here in the car.

0:19:23 > 0:19:23So...

0:19:23 > 0:19:26There is the tag, inside a wallet which needs some

0:19:26 > 0:19:33serious accounting done.

0:19:33 > 0:19:36I promise I will do that this summer.

0:19:36 > 0:19:39Annoyingly, the thing I have forgotten is my rucksack.

0:19:39 > 0:19:46It does, however, give me a map showing where it was last seen,

0:19:46 > 0:19:49which was just across the way, through the deluge.

0:19:49 > 0:19:53So if you will excuse me...

0:19:53 > 0:19:58Once more into the breach, dear friends.

0:20:01 > 0:20:04Right, launch time again, and arguably no-one does launches

0:20:04 > 0:20:05like these guys do launches.

0:20:05 > 0:20:08Apple's events create more hype than any other,

0:20:08 > 0:20:12and these were the scenes on Wednesday, as the iPhone 7

0:20:12 > 0:20:15blasted onto the scene.

0:20:15 > 0:20:18It is now waterproof, it has stereo speakers,

0:20:18 > 0:20:26and the larger version now has two cameras,

0:20:26 > 0:20:30a wide-angle and a telephoto, which means you can choose your shot

0:20:30 > 0:20:35size without losing quality by using a digital zoom.

0:20:35 > 0:20:38But by far the biggest impact was made by the removal

0:20:38 > 0:20:41of the headphone port, something that has been a standard

0:20:41 > 0:20:43in devices for decades.

0:20:43 > 0:20:46Your choices now are buying new headphones that use

0:20:46 > 0:20:48Apple's Lightning connector, buying new, rechargeable wireless

0:20:48 > 0:20:50headphones, like these new EarPods, for ?159 -

0:20:50 > 0:20:57what?

0:20:59 > 0:21:01Or using your current headphones and this adaptor.

0:21:01 > 0:21:03Right.

0:21:03 > 0:21:05Oh, and the Apple Watches now are water resistant,

0:21:05 > 0:21:10and will tell you if there are years Pokemon nearby.

0:21:10 > 0:21:14Dave Lee is our man in San Fran, and he was at the launch.

0:21:14 > 0:21:16How is it going?

0:21:16 > 0:21:19You have had a couple of days to ruminate on Apple's announcement.

0:21:19 > 0:21:21How would you rate this launch?

0:21:21 > 0:21:24Well, we didn't think it was going to be a massive,

0:21:24 > 0:21:25massive improvement on last year's iPhone,

0:21:25 > 0:21:26and it wasn't, really.

0:21:26 > 0:21:29Incremental improvements, not a huge year in the history

0:21:29 > 0:21:30of the iPhone.

0:21:30 > 0:21:33But I think people, as ever, were impressed with what Apple has

0:21:33 > 0:21:35come up with.

0:21:35 > 0:21:38OK, so the big talking point is the removal

0:21:38 > 0:21:39of that headphone connector.

0:21:39 > 0:21:43So do you think, when you open your iPhone 7 box, you are going to get

0:21:43 > 0:21:48a nice pair of iPhone 7-compatible headphones in there?

0:21:48 > 0:21:51Well, you are not going to get the wireless ones, I can tell

0:21:51 > 0:21:56you that much.

0:21:56 > 0:21:59They are $159 if you want the new cool, wireless AirPods,

0:21:59 > 0:22:02as they are called, but you will get an adaptor.

0:22:02 > 0:22:06It is a bit ugly looking, could be a bit fiddly if you have

0:22:06 > 0:22:10to have that always with you in your pocket.

0:22:10 > 0:22:12But that is their workaround, and Apple are sticking to it.

0:22:12 > 0:22:14They think that will do the job.

0:22:14 > 0:22:16Thank you for being there.

0:22:16 > 0:22:17Stay there, keep watching.

0:22:17 > 0:22:18Thank you for having me, Spen.

0:22:18 > 0:22:19Love you.

0:22:19 > 0:22:20No, you hang up!

0:22:20 > 0:22:21So there we have it.

0:22:21 > 0:22:25A week packed with launches, but have any of them been the moon

0:22:25 > 0:22:26shot we want them to be?

0:22:26 > 0:22:31Have any of them boldly gone, or even gone boldly?

0:22:31 > 0:22:34We have headphones that are a bit better, consoles incrementally

0:22:34 > 0:22:48improved, and TVs with slightly more colour.

0:22:48 > 0:22:51And everyone make sure you remember where you were when you saw...

0:22:51 > 0:22:57Pokemon land on a smartwatch.

0:22:57 > 0:23:00See ya.

0:23:24 > 0:23:25Hello.
