0:00:29 > 0:00:33My Lords, I rise to introduce the economic affairs committee report on

0:00:33 > 0:00:40Brexit and the labour markets. Although the motion stands in my

0:00:53 > 0:00:57Unfortunately, he cannot be cured to speak in the debate on this is his

0:00:57 > 0:01:04final enquiry as chairman and I may say, as chairman, we do miss him on

0:01:04 > 0:01:08the committee. I understand he has been drafted into reporting on

0:01:08 > 0:01:14artificial intelligence from which he is very well equipped. Before I

0:01:14 > 0:01:18introduced the report and its key conclusions, it is perhaps necessary

0:01:18 > 0:01:25to set it in context. The committee commenced this enquiry in January

0:01:25 > 0:01:312017, less than seven months after the EU referendum, which seems so

0:01:31 > 0:01:41long ago.
