:04:19. > :04:23.properly or is the wrong colour or the zip is broken. Then you have a
:04:23. > :04:26.large proportion of dresses they just do not turn up at all.
:04:26. > :04:31.Page was so cross she voiced her frustrations on Facebook. She set
:04:31. > :04:37.up a support group when it became apparent it was a big problem.
:04:37. > :04:44.Initially, I thought it would be a small group. We have been running
:04:44. > :04:50.for under six months and we are under the 500 mark. That is not
:04:50. > :04:57.including people who have privately message me. Who are Edresses and
:04:57. > :05:05.where are they based? They have several address -- they have
:05:05. > :05:08.several addresses and all appear in the UK. They look like they are UK-
:05:09. > :05:13.based. You assume they have somewhere in the UK you can contact.

:05:18. > :05:23.Buying from China, like from any country, is fine if you choose
:05:23. > :05:30.reputable factories. Like the ones that produce the stresses. Ian

:05:41. > :05:45.manufacturer and they will put it on their website, they will
:05:45. > :05:49.advertise it as a product they can produce. They have no patterns, no

:05:57. > :06:02.attached to a chicken farm. When we were there, there was a lady who
:06:02. > :06:07.had placed an order and it has printed a picture of and tried to
:06:07. > :06:13.copy it. Dresses made from a picture probably will not be a
:06:13. > :06:17.great fit. Then it Mandy tried to get her money back. When she
:06:17. > :06:21.contacted Edresses by e-mail, all she got was months of delaying
:06:21. > :06:28.tactics. They kept coming back with these dancers, please rest assured
:06:28. > :06:34.we are dealing with your complaint -- these answers. Then it went on
:06:34. > :06:40.longer. There were more e-mails. They then said it would be in my it
:06:40. > :06:45.bank within 72 hours. No, no money arrived. My Andy had paid using
:06:45. > :06:50.PayPal. After 45 days, option for getting her money back from them
:06:50. > :06:55.had expired. Apart from the Mail, there was no other way of
:06:55. > :07:01.contacting Edresses. -- e-mail. Every number of customers were
:07:01. > :07:05.given was a false trail. Both addresses are bogus on the website.
:07:05. > :07:09.When they came to check out the returns address, they were led to
:07:09. > :07:14.this industrial estate. It is a distribution centre which deals in
:07:14. > :07:18.electrical goods and had nothing to do with Edresses. The actual
:07:18. > :07:23.company based here, which does have Chinese connections, was not happy
:07:23. > :07:28.parcels were being sent to their dress and contacted Trading
:07:28. > :07:32.Standards in Portsmouth. We went to see them, we had a look at the
:07:32. > :07:35.goods that had been returned and it was quite clear they were being
:07:36. > :07:41.sent back from dissatisfied consumers who were unhappy about
:07:41. > :07:45.the quality of the garments they had bought. I have been a Trading
:07:45. > :07:49.Standards officers for many years and this is the first time we have
:07:49. > :07:56.had a situation like this with an address of being hijacked for use
:07:56. > :08:03.in this way. A look at the quality. They are dreadful. We looked at
:08:03. > :08:13.some of the items that had been sent back. Look at that. That is
:08:13. > :08:13.
