:00:16. > :00:20.stories. Then my German parliament has approved measures that will

:00:21. > :00:24.allow the confiscation of Bibles from asylum seekers to contribute to

:00:25. > :00:28.welfare costs. Brazil is deploying over 200,000

:00:29. > :00:33.soldiers in the fight against the Zika virus.

:00:34. > :00:47.Apple, the world's largest company, will announce their results. They

:00:48. > :00:58.may suggest a decline in the iPhone. We will also speak

:00:59. > :00:59.are discussing the Democrats leader election. There is also sport coming

:01:00. > :01:19.up and we will concentrate on the Australian open and on the cricket.

:01:20. > :01:25.Yesterday we were talking about the Zika virus in Brazil but now the

:01:26. > :01:29.World Health Organisation saying it is spreading across the Americas.

:01:30. > :01:36.The Brazilians are deploying the army to try editing it. It is

:01:37. > :01:47.carried by a mosquito and it causes mild headaches, conjunctivitis, and

:01:48. > :01:48.fevers. It can be passed by the mosquito biting someone who is

:01:49. > :01:55.infected and then biting else. The concern is when a pregnant

:01:56. > :02:04.woman gets the virus and it is believed that your baby can develop

:02:05. > :02:12.problems from its mother which can result in underdeveloped's brains.

:02:13. > :02:22.During my pregnancy everything was going fine.

:02:23. > :02:24.We bought the baby clothes and decorated his bedroom.

:02:25. > :02:30.When we have the first exams there was no way to tell he had

:02:31. > :02:32.a smaller brain at that stage in my pregnancy.

:02:33. > :02:40.The day I found out, on August 11th, was the worst day of my life.

:02:41. > :02:53.It was a very difficult day but it was very important

:02:54. > :02:56.that the doctor said we should allow ourselves 24 hours of grief.

:02:57. > :03:06.Gabriel was born on December 4th and his illness

:03:07. > :03:19.His head circumference was 32cm, within the range.

:03:20. > :03:22.I had Zika but like everyone else I gave it no thought.

:03:23. > :03:27.I had some rashes and itches for a day or two.

:03:28. > :03:37.At the time I told my obstetrician but she didn't even write it down.

:03:38. > :03:43.He has to see many doctors, almost daily and gets

:03:44. > :03:50.But he is calm, he sleeps and nurses normally.

:03:51. > :03:54.Thank God we are able to afford this care for him because others cannot.

:03:55. > :04:04.The affection we've received during this process moves me.

:04:05. > :04:07.So many friends offered their prayers and sacrifice.

:04:08. > :04:29.Our goal is to make Gabriel happy no matter what.

:04:30. > :04:37.I want him to be happy and I want to see him smiling.

:04:38. > :04:41.I am doing everything I can for him to be 100% so that he can do

:04:42. > :04:46.If he takes a bit longer that is fine but he will get there.

:04:47. > :04:49.He will go to school and do everything and be happy.

:04:50. > :05:06.We heard the woman in the report talking about how when she had Zika

:05:07. > :05:12.no one was interested. That is no longer true. The government in

:05:13. > :05:19.Brazil are calling in public enemy number one -- are calling it. This

:05:20. > :05:27.is what they had to say: the latest rather jaded to deploy 220,000

:05:28. > :05:32.soldiers. I have been speaking to a reporter in Sao Paulo. The announce

:05:33. > :05:36.of the deployment of the task force has been big in Brazil because there

:05:37. > :05:41.have been deployments like this before but in specific cities.

:05:42. > :05:47.Brazil has not seen this kind of effort by the army in decades. Those

:05:48. > :05:53.220,000 Army soldiers will be joining 300,000 health agents and

:05:54. > :05:57.they will be visiting residents across the country to find the

:05:58. > :06:01.breeding spots of the mosquitoes and to destroy them and to warn people

:06:02. > :06:03.about the risks that they have in their own houses and alert them

:06:04. > :06:11.about the necessity of individual action here. They will tell them how

:06:12. > :06:17.they can avoid breeding spots for the mosquito. Is that anger that

:06:18. > :06:21.these warnings were not made last year or the year before? That woman

:06:22. > :06:28.were not offered more support and advice? There is some anger but

:06:29. > :06:35.Brazil has been dealing this for decades. Campaigns against it or

:06:36. > :06:40.talking about prevention and warning people about what they can do are

:06:41. > :06:44.not uncommon in Brazil, they usually happen every year. On the other

:06:45. > :06:52.hand, Brazil had one of those beggars academics of a fever and the

:06:53. > :06:56.Zika virus in decades, so it was probably not enough. People are

:06:57. > :07:00.talking about budget cuts and the governments and the lack of help

:07:01. > :07:08.agents to golf from house to house talking to people. Those to the

:07:09. > :07:11.government has to answer about. We will be talking about the Zika virus

:07:12. > :07:19.again. Now the tennis in Melbourne. We are

:07:20. > :07:28.going to look back and forward. We have fed and and Djokovic coming

:07:29. > :07:32.through to the semifinals. They are reaching the business end and we

:07:33. > :07:38.have been left with two of the best in the business. They will meet in

:07:39. > :07:45.the semifinals, Roger Federer 17 times a champion. Between him and

:07:46. > :07:53.Djokovic they have 27 titles between them and rivalry stretches ten

:07:54. > :08:01.years. It will be the 45th meeting on Thursday and it stands at 22-22.

:08:02. > :08:04.It is mostly gone Djokovic's way, by Roger Federer is looking very

:08:05. > :08:13.confident going about his business in Melbourne. But if we go back to

:08:14. > :08:17.you and a half years to Wimbledon in 2012, the last of Roger Federer's

:08:18. > :08:23.grand slam titles, we were looking forward to June final and Roger

:08:24. > :08:30.Federer against Djokovic and Freddie should be a brilliant match. This is

:08:31. > :08:36.one of the biggest games for British's woman's tennis for years.

:08:37. > :08:42.You have to go back to the 70s or 80s to find the last woman to get

:08:43. > :08:49.this far on a grand slam and to go on to the semifinals. Hannah is an

:08:50. > :08:53.adopted British player, but she came to the United Kingdom ten years ago

:08:54. > :09:02.now and has gone further than she might have expected. She is up

:09:03. > :09:06.against the Chinese athlete. It is going to be interesting to see who

:09:07. > :09:15.goes through to the semifinals. The momentum is with Hannah, but Serena

:09:16. > :09:21.Williams has been drawn all the way. It is the 18th time in the row that

:09:22. > :09:30.she is beaten Sharapova. It looks like she is going to equal Steffi

:09:31. > :09:36.Graf's record of 22 grand slams. If you want to follow this you can look

:09:37. > :09:41.at the BBC News app or on your smartphone.

:09:42. > :09:47.This is a video that millions of people have been watching and

:09:48. > :09:52.America. This is one of basketball's biggest superstars playing with a

:09:53. > :09:57.group of kids in Florida. A couple of days ago, a policeman was called

:09:58. > :10:03.to this area because there had been noise. He ended up playing

:10:04. > :10:11.basketball with the kids loudly. The video went viral. A rematch was

:10:12. > :10:15.plotless. The police invited him back down. The police did not think

:10:16. > :10:28.he would turn up but he did. You can find out video online.

:10:29. > :10:33.Here's some advice from man himself. Stretch of elbows and you can be

:10:34. > :10:40.anything you want to be. I grew up just like this. Only you can change

:10:41. > :10:48.it. You need to show respect to your peers. I am a man of my word. Do not

:10:49. > :10:54.take money from another person. Apple's latest figures are in. Here

:10:55. > :11:00.is the text that is coming into the BBC newsroom. Writers are saying

:11:01. > :11:04.lower-than-expected iPhone sales in the latest quarter, its lowest ever

:11:05. > :11:10.growth in shipments. The kind of thing investors are worried about

:11:11. > :11:15.since becoming to pass. Now we can speak to our North America tech

:11:16. > :11:24.correspondent. Put it in context for this please. For the first time,

:11:25. > :11:29.Apple is expecting iPhone sales to decline, for the first sciences

:11:30. > :11:37.2007. We're still looking at the numbers. That is a big deal for

:11:38. > :11:41.Apple. It relies on iPhone sales, 60% of its total revenues are on the

:11:42. > :11:50.iPhone. Any decline in that product is a big deal. Why are we not buying

:11:51. > :11:56.them in the same numbers as before? They may have hit a plateau. The

:11:57. > :12:01.poor have iPhones. People wait for the big updates, so we will see the

:12:02. > :12:09.iPhone seven this year, while it was the iPhone six S this year. This is

:12:10. > :12:13.the first time Apple has ever warned that the iPhone will not be selling

:12:14. > :12:18.as much as it was the previous year. In previous years the big spikes of

:12:19. > :12:23.the back of things like the iPad, the iPad, the iPhone, the iMac. At

:12:24. > :12:28.the giving us any hints as to what might be next? We had the Apple

:12:29. > :12:36.watch launched last year. Everyone is looking out for a car of some

:12:37. > :12:42.kind. Whether they make their own or integrate with other cards that

:12:43. > :12:46.would get everyone excited. Are rumours that that is being worked on

:12:47. > :12:50.as we speak. We have not had anything concrete from Apple, but

:12:51. > :12:55.they do not like to tell us anything until they are ready to launch.

:12:56. > :13:02.Thank you very much. In a moment we will turn to a

:13:03. > :13:08.mystery playing out in England all over a ?33 million lottery prize

:13:09. > :13:09.that is still unclaimed, although hundreds of people are saying they

:13:10. > :13:23.have bought the ticket. Tesco has apologised after a

:13:24. > :13:28.watchdog revealed that the super Maya kit bags at the supermarket

:13:29. > :13:36.giant parade paying suppliers to improve its profits.

:13:37. > :13:40.Remember the headlines, Tesco in turmoil after the revelation that it

:13:41. > :13:44.had overstated its profits. It was today do with how it dealt with that

:13:45. > :13:49.suppliers. Today it was found that Tesco did not treat them fairly.

:13:50. > :13:53.What iPhone was shocking was how widespread the practice was of

:13:54. > :14:00.delaying payments. -- what I found shocking. It was everywhere in the

:14:01. > :14:06.UK and overseas. The ombudsman found out that they had willingly delayed

:14:07. > :14:09.payments to suppliers and made unilateral deductions. It held money

:14:10. > :14:16.for suppliers without their agreement. The sums were

:14:17. > :14:21.significant. One supplier was owed several million pounds and it took

:14:22. > :14:27.two years to get the money. The sums were much smaller for this chocolate

:14:28. > :14:32.business. A delay in payment of less than ?10,000, but it cost them

:14:33. > :14:38.dearly. A nearly bankrupted our company when they did not pay our

:14:39. > :14:41.bill in the member 2013. It took them six months to pay us and we had

:14:42. > :14:48.to take a personal loan to cover Christmas wages and bonuses. Tesco

:14:49. > :14:52.did apologising and administrative error was made. Tesco has around

:14:53. > :14:57.3000 suppliers keeping these shelves filled. It is a big and complex

:14:58. > :15:01.business. Some of the delays in payments were down to pure

:15:02. > :15:06.administration, but others were deliberate, driven by the need to

:15:07. > :15:10.improve its financial position. The new boss says that Tesco is already

:15:11. > :15:17.a different company from the one criticised in the report today. The

:15:18. > :15:23.report covers a period in history from 2013 to the beginning of 2015.

:15:24. > :15:28.We drew a line under that changed our business and have continued to

:15:29. > :15:30.do so in the 15 months since then. The adjudicator recognises that you

:15:31. > :15:36.can see the progress that we have made. Tesco has avoided a fiberglass

:15:37. > :15:42.ombudsman did not have the necessary powers at the time, but still coming

:15:43. > :15:45.down the aisles as the criminal investigation by the serial fraud

:15:46. > :15:46.office that could lead to prosecutions and a big financial

:15:47. > :16:04.penalty. -- Serious Fraud Office. Welcome back to the BBC newsroom.

:16:05. > :16:07.Our lead story is that Denmark has put new measures that will allow the

:16:08. > :16:12.confiscation of Bibles from asylum seekers. -- M has approved. The

:16:13. > :16:19.government say this will pay for increased welfare costs. If you are

:16:20. > :16:23.watching outside of the UK after us there will be well this America and

:16:24. > :16:28.information on a gas leak that has been going on for months. James Cook

:16:29. > :16:33.has been speaking to residents about how their lives are being affected.

:16:34. > :16:39.In the UK, the news at ten will report on terror school and a

:16:40. > :16:48.destination that it delayed paying suppliers to improve its financial

:16:49. > :16:53.position. -- on Tesco. I was just mentioning world news America. We

:16:54. > :16:58.are getting very close to the first votes being cast in the race to the

:16:59. > :17:03.White House. There are only two people capable of winning the

:17:04. > :17:08.Democratic election, Hillary Clinton and Bernie. They took part in a

:17:09. > :17:17.television debate last night. Hillary Clinton has a clear lead

:17:18. > :17:23.over Bernie Sanders, but if you bring in Iowa they are neck and

:17:24. > :17:27.neck. That is important because the IR selection is happening on the 1st

:17:28. > :17:34.of February and Iowa is the first state to choose. It is about

:17:35. > :17:42.momentum. Here's some of the debate last night.

:17:43. > :17:47.If you're asking me why the campaign has created the momentum that has

:17:48. > :17:50.we're touching a nerve with the American people who understand that

:17:51. > :17:55.establishment politics are not good enough and that we need bold changes

:17:56. > :17:59.in political revolution. When the primary campaign was over and I

:18:00. > :18:03.worked for President Obama became Secretary of State it was because he

:18:04. > :18:11.trusted my judgment and be worked side-by-side. We work together for

:18:12. > :18:17.four years. I am sure that you watched it. How did you score it?

:18:18. > :18:21.They are laying out the different versions because basically they

:18:22. > :18:26.agree on much of the policies. The question for them both is how to get

:18:27. > :18:31.there. What is the best way to knack for both of them would like to see

:18:32. > :18:34.in this country. Bernie Sanders said that he once had universal health

:18:35. > :18:40.care and free college education for people in America. They might sound

:18:41. > :18:45.like Auden ideas to Europeans but they are quite unusual for an

:18:46. > :18:49.American audience. -- unusual ideas. Hillary Clinton as saying that she

:18:50. > :18:57.applauds his ideas but she says that they have to deal with the real

:18:58. > :19:00.world. He said he was campaigning in Porgy and governing in prose. Her

:19:01. > :19:03.message is that she has the experience and that she can get

:19:04. > :19:11.things done. Bernie Sanders is a good guy and I like him, but he

:19:12. > :19:14.cannot get this done. People watching around the world will be

:19:15. > :19:19.thinking this is very interesting but there is no possibility of

:19:20. > :19:25.Bernie Sanders winning. I be right? I think LA Lakers into an's campaign

:19:26. > :19:29.is a little bit nervous. She has been the de facto candidate for most

:19:30. > :19:34.of the last year and a happen suddenly Bernie Sanders is catching

:19:35. > :19:39.up with her. She remembers 2008 when she was meant to be the de factor

:19:40. > :19:44.candidate and along comes Barack Obama he gets this very enthusiastic

:19:45. > :19:51.crowds and she ends up working for him in government. She is not going

:19:52. > :19:58.to take this for granted. This is a measure of Donald Trump's success.

:19:59. > :20:03.With either Hillary Clinton or Bernie Sanders began to see Donald

:20:04. > :20:07.Trump the candidate? Do they think he is easier to beat than some of

:20:08. > :20:11.the more moderate candidates? The word from the Clinton campaign early

:20:12. > :20:16.on was that they would love to run against Donald Trump. That is

:20:17. > :20:25.officially what they would say. I think they have watched Donald trump

:20:26. > :20:33.up Scott back and -- watched Donald Trump's appeal grow. Is there a

:20:34. > :20:38.chance that he has latched onto something and he could do well in

:20:39. > :20:43.the General Election? I think this is one of those campaigns, I have

:20:44. > :20:48.never seen anything like it, where nearly all of the old rules need to

:20:49. > :20:50.be thrown out because everything is unpredictable and the candidate who

:20:51. > :20:57.says this is what is going to happen is probably an idiot. I have one

:20:58. > :21:06.more question. Can you give us their itinerary. When does things get

:21:07. > :21:12.going? There is one more debate on the Republican side on Thursday

:21:13. > :21:15.night. We'll Donald Trump show up? He is pulling his supporters on

:21:16. > :21:20.Twitter to see whether he should go not because he had a feud with one

:21:21. > :21:25.of the anchors. It all kicks off on Monday. We will be there with world

:21:26. > :21:30.news America and we will bring new analysis from there. That is the

:21:31. > :21:40.beginning of election 2016. Thank you. For those of you outside the UK

:21:41. > :21:43.cafe will rejoin you shortly. Organisers of the national lottery

:21:44. > :21:48.here in Britain are looking for the winner of the ?33 million jackpot,

:21:49. > :21:53.that is nearly $50 million. Hundreds of people are claiming to have won

:21:54. > :21:56.the winning ticket, saying it was lost or stolen or damaged. All we

:21:57. > :22:02.know is that this ticket was bought in Worcester. John Kay has been to

:22:03. > :22:09.investigate. This is the Ambleside newsagents in

:22:10. > :22:14.Worcester and they think this is the place that sold the lucky ticket,

:22:15. > :22:19.although that hasn't been verified. He is one of hundreds of people who

:22:20. > :22:25.have come forward in recent days thinking maybe it was then. Camelot

:22:26. > :22:30.are not saying that the ticket was bought here, just that it was bought

:22:31. > :22:34.some in Worcester, because the identity of the location of the sale

:22:35. > :22:40.is part of the verification process. That process is going on a lottery

:22:41. > :22:46.HQ at the moment. The headline here is that hundreds of claims for about

:22:47. > :22:49.?33 million lotto pot. It is one of the biggest lottery jackpot prizes

:22:50. > :22:57.that has ever existed. They say that a lady came in on Friday with what

:22:58. > :23:02.the like a soggy tickets with the right numbers. She said it had gone

:23:03. > :23:05.through a ticket. Exactly a washing machine. Other people have said they

:23:06. > :23:12.lost their ticket, that it was stolen, something like that. Mr

:23:13. > :23:20.Patel is the newsagents here. So she went public as having maybe sold the

:23:21. > :23:23.ticket, it has gone crazy here. Some people have come and think they both

:23:24. > :23:31.ticket and have lost it or misplaced that. Quite a few are going on.

:23:32. > :23:37.Camelot are inundated with people saying they have lost them. Camelot

:23:38. > :23:42.have to investigate. Wing-mac what do you think about these people? Is

:23:43. > :23:49.that is the truth, where they until now. Do you doubt them? Is someone

:23:50. > :23:52.was doubtful in their own cells and they thought they had the ticket and

:23:53. > :23:58.the numbers they would've come through faster. You are selling a

:23:59. > :24:06.lot of tickets as a result. Everyone is playing the lottery this morning.

:24:07. > :24:11.We believe that we are a lucky shop. You gritters winner in this even if

:24:12. > :24:21.none of your customers are. We wish winning for everyone. Not everyone

:24:22. > :24:24.can win but hopefully somebody. The Daily Telegraph are saying that

:24:25. > :24:30.fraudsters who tried to claim this jackpot could face

:24:31. > :24:35.of their actions. The national lottery is saying stop trying to

:24:36. > :24:43.falsely claim the ?33 million jackpot. The French news agency is

:24:44. > :24:48.also saying that record lottery jackpot mystery grips Britain. That

:24:49. > :24:50.may be overstating it. Thank you for watching the programme and I will

:24:51. > :25:11.see tomorrow at the same time. Before I look ahead it is worth

:25:12. > :25:14.reminding ourselves that we could ago there was some really cold

:25:15. > :25:16.weather with frost and snow. It seems a
