:00:16. > :00:22.This is outside source, in the BBC newsroom. The car bombs went off in

:00:23. > :00:27.Ankara, at least 20 people had been killed, it happened close to the

:00:28. > :00:31.Turkish parliament. David Cameron is making a last-minute push to get

:00:32. > :00:35.full support for his proposed reforms of the UK racial ship with

:00:36. > :00:40.European Union, that is all ahead of a vital summits tomorrow, The

:00:41. > :00:46.European Council is meeting in Brussels, of course you get full

:00:47. > :00:49.coverage of that. Let us also talk about Mexico because the Pope has

:00:50. > :00:54.been there over the last few days and he has ended his visit in one of

:00:55. > :00:58.the most dangerous cities in the country, BBC Mundo would explain the

:00:59. > :01:03.significance of his choice to go there. We have also got the

:01:04. > :01:04.Champions League update, two game is underway. We will update you in a

:01:05. > :01:23.couple of minutes. -- two games. Now it has been one of the stories

:01:24. > :01:28.we have been following in great detail over the last few hours, this

:01:29. > :01:31.is the BBC News Asia feed which you might want to follow if you're

:01:32. > :01:38.living there, China appears to have deployed missiles on disputed South

:01:39. > :01:43.China Sea Island, that is quoting local reports. This is alleged to

:01:44. > :01:50.have happened on an island, known as Woody island. If you look at this

:01:51. > :01:55.satellite image, you can see, this was taken on the 14th of January,

:01:56. > :01:58.you can see a number of alleged rocket launchers marked, they are

:01:59. > :02:05.believed to be similar to the rocket launchers pictured there. This map,

:02:06. > :02:09.will display to you just why this is also contentious. There are so many

:02:10. > :02:14.competing claims to ownership, from the countries around them and the

:02:15. > :02:17.number of blue lines marking these different claims show just how

:02:18. > :02:21.complicated things have got. Of course the Americans are following

:02:22. > :02:26.this very closely, here is the US secretary of State John Kerry. We

:02:27. > :02:32.will have further very serious conversations on this and my hope is

:02:33. > :02:36.that China will realise, that it is important to try and resolve the

:02:37. > :02:41.jurisdictional issues of the South China Sea not through unilateral

:02:42. > :02:45.action, not through force, not through militarisation, but through

:02:46. > :02:50.diplomacy, and by working with the other countries and Clements and

:02:51. > :02:53.trying to resolve these differences. One of the most astonishing BBC News

:02:54. > :02:58.reports that we have played outside source in the last few months is

:02:59. > :03:01.when our correspondent Rupert William Fraser Hayes, flew over some

:03:02. > :03:06.of these islands. He has been analysing some of the latest images.

:03:07. > :03:11.There are not very clear, these are small oblong objects on this island,

:03:12. > :03:15.on the beach, parked on the beach. It is interesting that China say

:03:16. > :03:19.they have not put anything on the islands except what is needed for

:03:20. > :03:24.defensive purposes. These missiles in China's eyes, our defensive

:03:25. > :03:27.missiles. I think what we are seeing is an incremental step forward in

:03:28. > :03:33.China's very careful very slow military rise Asian of its islands

:03:34. > :03:37.in the South China Sea. -- militarisation. Actually they sent

:03:38. > :03:41.some fighter jets to land on this island, so it is not the first

:03:42. > :03:46.deployment of military technology to this island. What this could be the

:03:47. > :03:51.first step towards is China putting missiles and aircraft on these new

:03:52. > :03:57.islands further south, which I have an over. Com is a step towards China

:03:58. > :04:01.declaring what it calls an air defence identification zone over its

:04:02. > :04:06.possessions, that would be a major escalation, and would bring China

:04:07. > :04:11.into direct potential confrontation with the United States which has

:04:12. > :04:17.said that it will not accept China's declaring an exclusive air defence

:04:18. > :04:22.zone over the South China Sea. Time for the sport. This is a midfielder

:04:23. > :04:24.for the Russian football team locomotive Moscow, last might they

:04:25. > :04:30.played the Turkish team than Apache in the Europa League -- last night.

:04:31. > :04:35.Uefa has opened disciplinary proceedings against him, this is the

:04:36. > :04:39.reason why. Here he is in his kit during the game, here he is after

:04:40. > :04:44.the game, that is what he had under his shirt. That is a picture of

:04:45. > :04:49.Vladimir Putin on the shirt, underneath, it said "The most polite

:04:50. > :04:54.president." Bearing mind, that Turkey shot down a Russian plane, in

:04:55. > :05:00.fact, Turkey has been accusing Russia of war crimes in Syria, it

:05:01. > :05:04.was so serious that Uefa faced calls to separate Turkish and Russian

:05:05. > :05:09.teams but decided not to do that. But it does ban political messages

:05:10. > :05:10.which is why this is getting the player into trouble. This is what he

:05:11. > :05:30.has had to say for himself: point made, punishment no doubt to

:05:31. > :05:33.come. In the Champions League, Chelsea against PSG was the pick of

:05:34. > :05:42.the games, we are into the knockout phase is now. I haven't seen any of

:05:43. > :05:47.the games because I have been on the show, please bring me up to date?

:05:48. > :05:51.That is why we are here, no controversy so far in these two

:05:52. > :05:55.games in the Champions League tonight, it did spark into life

:05:56. > :06:00.earlier on. It looks like we would have two crib drab games. We have

:06:01. > :06:04.had seven goals, that is so far as the full-time whistle set to go in

:06:05. > :06:08.Rome and Belgium. We will tell you about Rome and Real Madrid first.

:06:09. > :06:13.Because it is currently realm and rid who leads by 2-0 in Italy. The

:06:14. > :06:19.first one is scored by none other than Cristiano Ronaldo. A fantastic

:06:20. > :06:22.goal by him as he peels off the left side, back heals the ball, and then

:06:23. > :06:27.the ball was struck into the top left-hand corner, it took an

:06:28. > :06:32.important deflection, but it did not matter for Cristiano Ronaldo, who

:06:33. > :06:39.went over to his coach to celebrate it. The lead was doubled by Rodrigo

:06:40. > :06:43.'s. The full-time whistle has gone, Real Madrid take a very important

:06:44. > :06:50.two away goal lead back to the Bernabeu in a couple of weeks' time.

:06:51. > :06:55.What about Belgium? Wolfsburg, in Ghent, both teams for the first time

:06:56. > :07:00.in the last 16 of the Champions League, thanks to the German clubs,

:07:01. > :07:05.Midfielder Julian Draxler, they went 2-0 up after about 60 minutes. The

:07:06. > :07:10.Wolfsburg coach, one of them was saying how he needed a bit of a

:07:11. > :07:25.travelled after about 80 minutes or so. It looked like the tie was all

:07:26. > :07:35.wrapped up, they had a couple of goals in ten minutes scored, by Sven

:07:36. > :07:39.Combs and Coulibali as well. I can tell you just now, in Belgium, Ghent

:07:40. > :07:44.are definitely not out of this one yet. We appreciate the update. Thank

:07:45. > :07:49.you very much indeed, I don't recommend that any of you turnover,

:07:50. > :07:53.but if you have got a phone you can look at that while you watch us.

:07:54. > :07:57.This time yesterday we were talking about how Manny Pacquiao had got

:07:58. > :08:01.himself into trouble because he had made comments suggesting that

:08:02. > :08:06.homosexuals are "Worse than animals". Then he went on to

:08:07. > :08:08.Facebook to post this video, in which he apologised for causing

:08:09. > :08:13.offence and suggested that he hadn't been condemning LGBT, although if

:08:14. > :08:18.you looked at the original interview it was quite hard to work at how you

:08:19. > :08:22.would draw that conclusion. Now one of his main sponsors Nikkei, says it

:08:23. > :08:24.is not really interested in that apology. It doesn't make up for what

:08:25. > :08:43.was said, and it is dropping him. And that is that. Let Oscar back to

:08:44. > :08:52.football, and yet another achievement for Lionel Messi, he has

:08:53. > :08:56.now scored 300 league goals, he only took 334 games to do it. We cannot

:08:57. > :09:01.show the last goal because we don't have the rights. But watch the

:09:02. > :09:06.training, he is well behind the goal, you wouldn't be kicking from

:09:07. > :09:12.here, there is a huge amount of spin on, and it just drifts in. It is all

:09:13. > :09:16.very impressive, just another day for him I suspect. In a minute on

:09:17. > :09:21.outside source, we are going to turn to a story in Britain, because one

:09:22. > :09:25.British company says it is making real progress towards a hydrogen

:09:26. > :09:33.car. We will find out about this in a few moments time.

:09:34. > :09:39.Here is a story, some of you may have sympathy with, the new director

:09:40. > :09:43.of the National Gallery in London has been criticising the street

:09:44. > :09:47.performers outside the building he is in charge of in Trafalgar Square.

:09:48. > :09:51.He says that he would prefer to see them putting on shows that tie in

:09:52. > :10:01.with the gallery in some way, resume agree rather than just doing Yoda

:10:02. > :10:06.statues. Trafalgar Square is one of London's biggest attractions, but do

:10:07. > :10:11.people turn up for this? Living statues? Six of them were in

:10:12. > :10:17.position today, in front of the National Gallery. Three were dressed

:10:18. > :10:21.as Yoda, a character from Star Wars. Some people leave money, and enjoy

:10:22. > :10:24.what they see. When you have got kids with you it is nice that there

:10:25. > :10:30.are other things going on, definitely. I think they should

:10:31. > :10:34.stay, the only reason I'm here is because of Yoda. But the National

:10:35. > :10:39.Gallery is not happy, they say that there is room for improvement and

:10:40. > :10:43.they want something sorted out. The new director, has told the

:10:44. > :10:47.newspaper, that he wants an area that could work for them instead of

:10:48. > :10:52.Yoda and the musical accompaniment. Some tourists agree that it has got

:10:53. > :10:58.a little bit out of hand? I would prefer to see them not all here, not

:10:59. > :11:01.in the same place. Last summer BBC London revealed that most of the

:11:02. > :11:07.living statues here have come from one town in a mania. They would not

:11:08. > :11:11.talk to us today. Do you think you should be outside of the National

:11:12. > :11:17.Gallery? Do you think that you are an eyesore? You don't understand me.

:11:18. > :11:20.But this man who attends a piece of street art knows them and says they

:11:21. > :11:26.are all just trying to make a living. Honestly, everybody must

:11:27. > :11:31.eat, this is their job. One of the street performers who has asked not

:11:32. > :11:35.to be identified says that Yoda can get more attention than the National

:11:36. > :11:39.Gallery. The director should think again. They are just reacting to

:11:40. > :11:43.what the public go and listen to and watch, maybe that is his problem,

:11:44. > :11:48.maybe he's jealous of the attention that the Star Wars characters get.

:11:49. > :11:50.Westminster council says it is talking to the street performers,

:11:51. > :12:00.trying to find a solution that appeals to everyone.

:12:01. > :12:17.this is outside source, our lead story continues to be the car bomb

:12:18. > :12:23.in Ankara in Turkey, 28 people have died. The explosion happened close

:12:24. > :12:27.to the parliament building and Turkey's military headquarters. This

:12:28. > :12:40.is what we have got coming up after outside source, there will be more

:12:41. > :12:45.on that decision of Apple to fight the FBI on the decision to break

:12:46. > :12:51.into the phone of one of the San Bernardino attackers. And children

:12:52. > :12:55.could be vulnerable to PTSD if they have witnessed domestic violence or

:12:56. > :13:01.abuse. Next on outside source, let us turn to Greece. Protests have

:13:02. > :13:04.been held up against the opening of a new migrant registration centre on

:13:05. > :13:08.the island of costs. We have talked about it a lot because it is so

:13:09. > :13:11.close to Turkey said any migrants leaving Turkey trying to get to

:13:12. > :13:16.Greece and beyond come through the island. This is one of five places

:13:17. > :13:21.chosen to process the huge number of migrants who are arriving on the

:13:22. > :13:28.Greek islands from Turkey. Richard Galpin is there. A rebellion against

:13:29. > :13:33.the central government is in full swing here on the island of Kos.

:13:34. > :13:37.These protesters, backed by the local Mayor, are furious at

:13:38. > :13:41.government plans to build a special registration centre also known as a

:13:42. > :13:48.hotspot, for refugees and migrants arriving from nearby Turkey. This is

:13:49. > :13:52.just one in a whole series of demonstrations by local people here,

:13:53. > :13:55.they seem determined to continue this campaign to ensure that a

:13:56. > :14:02.so-called hotspot is not built on this island. I think people are very

:14:03. > :14:07.afraid, to be invaded. And that tourism went come any more, this is

:14:08. > :14:11.the main source of revenue on the island. In the face of this

:14:12. > :14:16.opposition, the government is now using the army to push ahead with

:14:17. > :14:20.building a centre here. Creating facilities to properly identify and

:14:21. > :14:25.register refugees and migrants arriving on Kos and several other

:14:26. > :14:29.islands, it is a key demand of the European Union. The deadline is May

:14:30. > :14:35.and this is just one of a package of border control measures that happens

:14:36. > :14:39.must implement. With Turkey lying just across the water from islands

:14:40. > :14:43.like Kos, the EU is piling the pressure on Greece to help prevent

:14:44. > :14:49.another mass influx of migrants this year. If it fails to meet the May

:14:50. > :14:53.deadline, several European countries are likely to close their borders,

:14:54. > :14:58.leaving Greece to deal with all of the migrants arriving on it sure is

:14:59. > :15:02.on its own. Athens insists that the flow of refugees and migrants into

:15:03. > :15:06.these islands will be much better controlled either deadline in May.

:15:07. > :15:10.But it is also convinced that the migrants will not be able to get any

:15:11. > :15:12.further than Greece as other countries lying on the route to

:15:13. > :15:19.Western Europe close their borders anyway.

:15:20. > :15:25.You may have seen over the last few days that the BBC is running a

:15:26. > :15:30.series about mental health, it is called in the mind. We have been

:15:31. > :15:34.speaking to two women, Edith Taylor and Laura Nuttall who use the

:15:35. > :15:40.Internet to talk about the mental health issues. Having a mental

:15:41. > :15:43.illness, is being like a puppet controlled by a puppet master

:15:44. > :15:48.because it is like having your own brain taken out and somebody else's

:15:49. > :15:52.brain put in for a few months. I actually decided to blog about it

:15:53. > :15:56.because I couldn't find any videos about exactly what I had gone

:15:57. > :16:02.through. It is quite a big deal for me to come out and speak about it. I

:16:03. > :16:06.have bipolar, it is like is no fake, everybody has a different

:16:07. > :16:10.experience. For me part of it was my manic episode, kind of like what you

:16:11. > :16:14.are normally but on an extreme level. If you are the upset or if

:16:15. > :16:21.you are really happy you are running around dancing and singing. It is

:16:22. > :16:25.kind of like all of your emotions being exaggerated. My memories from

:16:26. > :16:30.the psychiatric ward are very strange and surreal. When I got

:16:31. > :16:34.there I was very confused because I did not know what was going on, I

:16:35. > :16:38.thought I was being watched, and that I was on some sort of TV

:16:39. > :16:42.programme and somebody was playing a joke on me. I was in a very

:16:43. > :16:45.delusional state of mind, I was imagining things that were happening

:16:46. > :16:49.that were not happening. I was imagining that I was someone that I

:16:50. > :16:55.wasn't. You have still got people dressing up for Halloween, as

:16:56. > :17:00.psychiatric patients, using words like mental and psycho to describe

:17:01. > :17:04.negative things. Talking about it and opening up about it is truly

:17:05. > :17:10.helpful for breaking down stigmas and actually telling people what it

:17:11. > :17:14.is really like to have it. I had been making YouTube videos on and

:17:15. > :17:19.off for about four years, the reason I do it, is to show the honest

:17:20. > :17:25.nature of my illness, and what my life with this illness is like. I

:17:26. > :17:30.have done some weird things including harming myself, quite

:17:31. > :17:34.severely, to a life-threatening point. If I was always to be well in

:17:35. > :17:40.my videos it would be an inaccurate portrayal, make myself do it and I

:17:41. > :17:44.try and be as honest as I can. The affective disorder, is being fine

:17:45. > :17:51.one day, and then a week later, being just in the grips of

:17:52. > :17:55.psychosis. Being so depressed that you are contemplating suicide. To

:17:56. > :18:00.one week later being fine again. You can hear voices in your head, see

:18:01. > :18:06.things such as shadows all people, sometimes animals. You no longer

:18:07. > :18:10.know who you are or where you are, your beliefs and connection with

:18:11. > :18:14.reality can be shattered. Today we are going to talk about sectioning

:18:15. > :18:19.because it is not something that is widely talked about because of the

:18:20. > :18:22.stigma that is attached to it. Acknowledging the Internet and the

:18:23. > :18:26.way that things are right now has helped the conversation about mental

:18:27. > :18:31.health, and people like me are able to upload a video to YouTube, and we

:18:32. > :18:36.can help to spread awareness and information. I have had people

:18:37. > :18:40.message to say that their videos have prompted them to seek help from

:18:41. > :18:44.professionals, that makes me feel fantastic. That was the sole reason

:18:45. > :18:53.that I setup my channel and I didn't really think that I would achieve

:18:54. > :18:59.that so it just makes day. You will very easily find where we are

:19:00. > :19:04.collecting all of the report you can see it on the BBC News. Also 27

:19:05. > :19:10.million of you like this page, some of you may have liked it. This was a

:19:11. > :19:13.live stream I did earlier, and Johnny Benjamin, who is a mental

:19:14. > :19:17.health campaign. They spent 30 minutes with me on Facebook

:19:18. > :19:21.answering questions from people all over the world. You can watch back

:19:22. > :19:28.the questions, the front page of the BBC News and he will find it easily.

:19:29. > :19:31.We are going to switch to Mexico now, because we are going to talk

:19:32. > :19:39.about the Pope. He has come to the end of his visit in Mexico, his

:19:40. > :19:45.visit was always going to be a huge story. And today, he visited a

:19:46. > :19:52.place, called Chu RS. It is a very small town, this is Mexico, this

:19:53. > :20:01.help as in the two reasons why this was a significant point was because

:20:02. > :20:07.of the migration and murder. What is really important is that the Pope

:20:08. > :20:11.has chosen all of the places he has gone, to make a special message to

:20:12. > :20:22.the people. Like when he was in Mexico City he was very clear to the

:20:23. > :20:26.president, being corrupt is wrong. You are only good for yourself and

:20:27. > :20:33.not anyone else, and he said that in the palace. And then he went to his

:20:34. > :20:38.own church and that the -- and to the bishops and he said you had to

:20:39. > :20:42.be transparent. Then he goes to the south, where it is indigenous and he

:20:43. > :20:48.says I'm sorry I think we can do better. Now he goes to the drug

:20:49. > :20:52.cartels and he says, all of these victims, he gives them hope. And now

:20:53. > :20:56.he goes to the border to say that the Mexicans are going away because

:20:57. > :21:00.they need a better place to stay, but also the Mexicans had to take

:21:01. > :21:05.care of all of the Central Americans, that go through Mexico.

:21:06. > :21:09.And who are mistreated in Mexico. That is going to be the message that

:21:10. > :21:14.people are expecting from him. The reason I have heard of Ciudad

:21:15. > :21:19.Juarez, is because I think of it as being very, very dangerous. It is

:21:20. > :21:26.super dangerous but it is also famous, for all of the deaths. I

:21:27. > :21:29.think a lot of people remember, women just completely disappearing.

:21:30. > :21:34.That problem is not only with the women but also with the men, and

:21:35. > :21:39.also with this war with the drugs. We are talking about in Mexico,

:21:40. > :21:44.there are 27,000 people who disappeared in the last decade. In

:21:45. > :21:49.this last mass, very interesting he will at last meet, at least from a

:21:50. > :21:52.distance, the families of the 43 students that disappeared that has

:21:53. > :21:56.become an icon of the problem in Mexico, of people just vanishing.

:21:57. > :22:02.Families just want to know what happened to them. We have talked a

:22:03. > :22:07.lot on outside source about electric cars in the last few months, haps

:22:08. > :22:10.less so, about cars fuelled by hydrogen. There is one company in
