:00:18. > :00:23.The Prime Minister of Iceland has resigned after allegations he

:00:24. > :00:27.concealed millions of dollars' worth of investments in offshore

:00:28. > :00:38.companies. There have been big protests against him in Reykjavik.

:00:39. > :00:51.We will get more on that and spot shortly. The first US primary is

:00:52. > :00:55.taking place right now since Donald Trump's comments on abortion. And we

:00:56. > :00:59.will hear from Northern Ireland were a woman has been given a suspended

:01:00. > :01:20.prison sentence for terminating her pregnancy.

:01:21. > :01:23.The American primary race moves to the state of Wisconsin.

:01:24. > :01:25.For the Democrats Bernie Sanders currently has a small lead

:01:26. > :01:30.But for the Republicans Ted Cruz has a 10 percentage point

:01:31. > :01:39.lead over Donald Trump in this particular state.

:01:40. > :01:47.The BBC has been allowed to speak to some of the women supporting Donald

:01:48. > :02:03.I was a Marine, so I will keep my foul mouth out of the comments. I am

:02:04. > :02:07.not a feminist by any means. As far as his comments on women, I do not

:02:08. > :02:11.think that has anything to do with running the country. I feel like

:02:12. > :02:16.other countries will respect our country a bit more because they are

:02:17. > :02:17.and tie feminist over there. I think they will respect Donald Trump being

:02:18. > :02:36.in the presidency. If women want to hurl insults at

:02:37. > :02:39.him, he will hurl insults back. In the abortion issue, you don't even

:02:40. > :02:47.want to know what I think about that. When I was 23, 24, I was in an

:02:48. > :02:50.abusive relationship and I became pregnant, but they convinced me it

:02:51. > :02:55.was a blob of tissue and I went ahead with the abortion, it was

:02:56. > :03:00.extremely painful. I was able to block out the pain and the guilt for

:03:01. > :03:02.some time until it hit me like a tonne of bricks. It is 35 years

:03:03. > :03:15.later and I am not over it. I am very excited to be here, it is

:03:16. > :03:18.my first rally. It is and tie abortion and that is a good thing

:03:19. > :03:24.for me because I have no children, but I would always love to have a

:03:25. > :03:25.child. For me to see some lady have an abortion breaks my heart because

:03:26. > :03:38.I want that child. This whole war on women playing is

:03:39. > :03:44.another card they continue to play just like the race card and it is to

:03:45. > :03:50.change the topic about the real issue. A lot of men judge women and

:03:51. > :03:54.their appearance and it is something I have lived with my whole life. I

:03:55. > :03:59.know a lot of people who can do really well in their jobs, they are

:04:00. > :04:03.really smart, they say offensive jokes from time to time, but when

:04:04. > :04:09.they do their job they do it really well and that is why I support

:04:10. > :04:18.Donald Trump despite those comments. We are going to win again. Let's

:04:19. > :04:33.take a look at where things stand in the race. But the

:04:34. > :04:53.. This is for the Republicans. Donald Trump has 737 delegates. Ted

:04:54. > :05:00.Cruise is next on 475. Let's go over to Washington. In the overall scheme

:05:01. > :05:06.of things, how important is Wisconsin tonight? Wisconsin of

:05:07. > :05:12.itself is not a massively important state, we do not talk about it as if

:05:13. > :05:17.it was New Hampshire, or Florida with so many delegates, but it has

:05:18. > :05:23.become important as a litmus test of how Donald is doing. There is a

:05:24. > :05:28.sense and an indication from polls in Wisconsin that he is losing some

:05:29. > :05:32.popularity. In the last few minutes a new, national poll has come out

:05:33. > :05:36.putting him neck and neck with Ted Cruise and that is the first time I

:05:37. > :05:45.can remember them being equal in a national poll. That is upset for the

:05:46. > :05:48.Trump campaign. What we will get out of Wisconsin is an indication of

:05:49. > :05:53.whether this is the beginning of his campaign stolen. Whatever he has

:05:54. > :06:01.said or done until now, no matter how controversial, has not hurt him.

:06:02. > :06:05.It was on this programme the other day that I said to you I wonder

:06:06. > :06:10.whether this time is different and I very rarely dared to say that about

:06:11. > :06:15.Donald Trump, because every time you said that the controversial his

:06:16. > :06:18.approval rating to go up. But this time it seems to have slipped ever

:06:19. > :06:22.since he made that comment about women being punished if they were to

:06:23. > :06:29.have an abortion if they were to become illegal in the country. More

:06:30. > :06:36.importantly, we will get the sense from Wisconsin weather Donald Trump

:06:37. > :06:43.is able to get to the magical number of 1237 delegates, or whether we

:06:44. > :06:49.will head to a contested convention in July. After all these months

:06:50. > :06:59.Donald Trump is still there and is still a very serious contender. What

:07:00. > :07:03.are they thinking, the Republicans? I keep hearing there is panic in the

:07:04. > :07:11.party, there is a desperate hope they will be able to put in an

:07:12. > :07:17.establishment figure or perhaps even the Speaker of the House, Paul Ryan,

:07:18. > :07:24.he might be drafted in at the last minute. Those scenarios are probably

:07:25. > :07:27.wishful thinking, but Wisconsin will give us some indication of where

:07:28. > :07:33.this race is heading and were Donald Trump is heading. Thank you very

:07:34. > :07:39.much. If you are watching on BBC world News, BBC world News America

:07:40. > :07:45.is in just over 20 minutes from time. Fifa's new president Jannie

:07:46. > :07:52.Infantino is the latest name to come out of the Panama papers. He signed

:07:53. > :07:56.a contract over TV rights in 2006 with two businessmen who have been

:07:57. > :08:00.indicted by the FBI in its investigation into corruption in

:08:01. > :08:02.world football. He initially denied doing any business with anyone

:08:03. > :08:24.accused of bribery. Everyone in the world will applaud

:08:25. > :08:31.us for what we will do in the future. But just five weeks in his

:08:32. > :08:37.election it is the past that threatens to cast an early shadow

:08:38. > :08:40.over his new rain. The Panama papers have implicated world leaders and

:08:41. > :08:45.now the most powerful man in football has been dragged into the

:08:46. > :08:50.scandal. In the leaked documents there is a deal signed off by Jannie

:08:51. > :08:59.Infantino when he was a director with Uefa with an offshore company.

:09:00. > :09:01.It paid ?60,000 for three years of broadcast rights for Champions

:09:02. > :09:08.League in Ecuador and then sold it on to a TV company for almost three

:09:09. > :09:14.times the price. Cross trading was owned by a father and son. The pair

:09:15. > :09:19.were indicted by US prosecutors last year as part of an FBI led

:09:20. > :09:23.corruption investigation. The authorities allege that as the

:09:24. > :09:27.owners they paid millions of dollars in bribes over several years to

:09:28. > :09:31.South American football officials to secure TV rights for regional

:09:32. > :09:54.football two elements. In a statement Uefa said:

:09:55. > :10:03.According to fever this is a matter for Uefa, but the problem facing

:10:04. > :10:06.Gianni Infantino is it turns out initially Uefa denied doing business

:10:07. > :10:10.with any of those individuals indicted last year when asked by a

:10:11. > :10:11.German newspaper. The Panama papers now

:10:12. > :10:20.It is more damaging, I think, revelations for Fifa and Uefa.

:10:21. > :10:23.And again it begs the question, how many more transactions are there

:10:24. > :10:28.What checks do people in football do on the companies with whom they have

:10:29. > :10:31.transactions and what happens to the deals when they are completed?

:10:32. > :10:35.Uefa says it will cooperate with the FBI over the contracts

:10:36. > :10:39.if asked to do so, and there is no suggestion that Mr Infantino

:10:40. > :10:42.or the company is guilty of any wrongdoing.

:10:43. > :10:46.Yet, just as the new president looks to rebuild trust

:10:47. > :10:57.in the organisation he now leads, this looks to be an early setback.

:10:58. > :11:04.The first two Champions League quarterfinals were played this

:11:05. > :11:13.evening. Barcelona versus Madrid. Ollie Foster has been monitoring

:11:14. > :11:20.both ties at the BBC sports centre. Hello, let's start with the match in

:11:21. > :11:25.Spain. Have Barcelona ended their 39 match unbeaten run? Yes, they got

:11:26. > :11:30.beaten by Real Madrid at the weekend, but the full-time whistles

:11:31. > :11:34.have gone in Germany and Spain. They are the first legs and they will be

:11:35. > :11:42.played to a conclusion next week in the second leg. In Barcelona, two

:11:43. > :11:47.teams who know each other very well, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid. They

:11:48. > :11:50.have played each other twice in the league this season, Barcelona doing

:11:51. > :11:57.the double over them. This first leg has finished 2-1 to Barcelona as

:11:58. > :12:02.well. Madrid took a shock lead through Fernando Torres. It was a

:12:03. > :12:08.great finish from him. That was after 25 minutes. Ten minutes later

:12:09. > :12:14.he was sent off for his second bookable offence. After that against

:12:15. > :12:17.ten men it was like the Alamo and finally Luis Suarez made the

:12:18. > :12:23.breakthrough in the second half. We were hoping for a Lionel Messi goal

:12:24. > :12:28.because he is stuck on 499, but it was Luis Suarez who scored the

:12:29. > :12:33.winner on the night. They have a 2-1 slender advantage. Madrid will feel

:12:34. > :12:40.a bit aggrieved to see Fernando Torres sent off, but they have a

:12:41. > :12:46.crucial away goal. In Germany it was more straightforward. Bayern Munich

:12:47. > :12:52.played Benfica and it was ten. It came in the second minute. Just one

:12:53. > :13:00.goal they take to Portugal next week. Pep Guardiola would love to

:13:01. > :13:03.sign of with the European cup for Bayern Munich before he joined

:13:04. > :13:09.Manchester city who played tomorrow in the next wave of quarterfinals.

:13:10. > :13:15.Manchester city are playing PSG and then Wolfsburg, the surprise

:13:16. > :13:27.package. They have got Real Madrid. Two Winston night for Barcelona and

:13:28. > :13:33.Byron. Still to come: This cover of a rap song posted on YouTube has

:13:34. > :13:46.made this 12-year-old an Internet star. We will find out why. Two

:13:47. > :13:52.teenage girls have been found guilty of battering and torturing to death

:13:53. > :13:57.a woman in her home in Hartlepool. The woman died after a sustained and

:13:58. > :13:58.brutal attack which left her with over 100 injuries. The teenagers

:13:59. > :14:08.were just 13th and 14th at the time. Angela Wrightson was well liked

:14:09. > :14:11.in her local community. They knew she was an alcoholic

:14:12. > :14:13.and looked out for her. But her weakness was exploited

:14:14. > :14:16.by local children, who would get her And it was two vulnerable children

:14:17. > :14:23.who murdered this vulnerable woman. A horrific, prolonged attack,

:14:24. > :14:25.using household implements, A murder carried out by two

:14:26. > :14:30.girls aged 13 and 14. Throughout almost 25 years

:14:31. > :14:32.of service, I've never come across such a brutal murder

:14:33. > :14:35.committed by such young girls. Angela was subjected to a prolonged,

:14:36. > :14:38.sustained attack and the pathologist identified a significant number

:14:39. > :14:40.of injuries to her body, caused by at least 25

:14:41. > :14:43.blows with weapons. The young killers even took

:14:44. > :14:46.selfies in the hours Their victim was still

:14:47. > :14:51.conscious at this point. The girls' identities have been

:14:52. > :14:55.obscured because of their age. The violence started here at nine

:14:56. > :14:57.o'clock in the evening. By ten o'clock,

:14:58. > :15:00.the house was trashed. At 11, the two killers left.

:15:01. > :15:04.But they returned a few hours later. Then, at 4.20 the next

:15:05. > :15:07.morning, they called police They were both in care

:15:08. > :15:13.and were used to officers In the back of the police van,

:15:14. > :15:19.they took more selfies "On the bizzie van again" -

:15:20. > :15:24.they wrote as a caption. Their crime has left

:15:25. > :15:26.people here disgusted. You can't imagine two young girls

:15:27. > :15:34.doing that to another human being. I went round her house a few times

:15:35. > :15:38.and just sat with her. Especially in the street

:15:39. > :15:43.where she lived, everybody knew her and everybody looked out

:15:44. > :15:46.for her because they knew The two killers of this woman wept

:15:47. > :16:09.as they were found guilty today, A military dog has been awarded a

:16:10. > :16:13.prestigious medal for bravery. It led around 400 patrols in Iraq and

:16:14. > :16:26.Afghanistan protecting thousands of Allied troops.

:16:27. > :16:31.Our lead story, the Icelandic Prime Minister has resigned after

:16:32. > :16:36.allegations he concealed millions of dollars worth of investment in an

:16:37. > :16:43.offshore company. Coming up shortly on BBC News, world News America will

:16:44. > :16:46.be live in Wisconsin, the latest stop in the race to the White House

:16:47. > :16:52.with Donald Trump facing a challenge from Ted Cruz. The News at ten is

:16:53. > :16:57.reporting that the UK Business Secretary is on his way to India for

:16:58. > :17:00.talks with the chairman of Tata steel as efforts continued to find a

:17:01. > :17:08.buyer for much of the British Steel industry.

:17:09. > :17:11.STORY Well now a woman in Northern Ireland has been punished

:17:12. > :17:16.A court in Belfast has handed down a three-month suspended

:17:17. > :17:25.sentence after the 21-year bought drugs online to carry

:17:26. > :17:30.It highlighted the complexities in what is a very sensitive debate in

:17:31. > :17:36.Northern Ireland. The court case took place here in Belfast

:17:37. > :17:41.yesterday. A woman pleaded guilty to a criminal charge of procuring her

:17:42. > :17:45.own abortion by using a poison. She wanted to raise the money to travel

:17:46. > :17:49.to England where she could have had an abortion loftily, but she could

:17:50. > :17:53.not raise that money, so she went online, bought some pills which

:17:54. > :17:59.would induce a miscarriage and she took them and that resulted in the

:18:00. > :18:04.termination of her pregnancy. Prosecutions like this are very

:18:05. > :18:08.rare. The judge handed down a three-month suspended sentence for

:18:09. > :18:14.two years. The woman will not go to jail unless she commit another crime

:18:15. > :18:17.in the next two years. The laws over abortion are different

:18:18. > :18:24.in Northern Ireland compared to the rest of the UK? Yes, some laws are

:18:25. > :18:30.different than in the rest of the UK and abortion is a notable issue

:18:31. > :18:35.here. The legislation here dates back 155 years, that is what was

:18:36. > :18:41.said in court yesterday. The law in the UK was changed in the 1960s. And

:18:42. > :18:45.abortion is legal in the rest of the UK if it is judged the risk of

:18:46. > :18:49.carrying on with a pregnancy involves a greater risk to the

:18:50. > :18:55.physical and mental health of the woman or her children than having a

:18:56. > :18:58.termination. In Northern Ireland abortion is only available under

:18:59. > :19:04.certain specific circumstances and it is only legal when a woman's life

:19:05. > :19:09.is at risk or there is a risk of serious and permanent damage to her

:19:10. > :19:14.mental and physical health. The law in Northern Ireland is much tighter

:19:15. > :19:18.than elsewhere in the UK. What reaction has there been to this

:19:19. > :19:25.suspended sentence? Very strong reaction. There are groups that

:19:26. > :19:28.argue for a change in the law. Amnesty International is one of

:19:29. > :19:34.those groups and they have said that a woman in need of an abortion

:19:35. > :19:38.should not be treated as a criminal. Pro-life groups are strong in church

:19:39. > :19:44.circles and they argue that a baby has lost its life here and the law

:19:45. > :19:49.needs to be upheld. Some even argued the sentence was too lenient. It has

:19:50. > :19:51.opened up a debate on the issue. As far as the law being changed here, I

:19:52. > :20:19.do not think that is very likely. A criminal gang has been jailed for

:20:20. > :20:24.stealing rhino horns. Many of their crimes were planned in an Irish

:20:25. > :20:28.town. Six of the key players were members of the same family. Their

:20:29. > :20:33.targets were collections of rhino horn and high-value Chinese

:20:34. > :20:36.artefacts. Some of these people are experts at antiques in their own

:20:37. > :20:40.right and they knew the value and they knew they could get hold of

:20:41. > :20:44.them and sell them with a network of people they had available. The men

:20:45. > :20:50.at the top did not take part in the break-ins, so mobile phone tracking

:20:51. > :20:53.was crucial in establishing links with other members and putting

:20:54. > :21:00.people in the right place at the right time. Early efforts did not go

:21:01. > :21:05.well. Two gang members in Durham were tackled before they could

:21:06. > :21:10.escape. In Norwich another red verging on incompetent when four of

:21:11. > :21:16.the gang tried to steal a rhino head during opening hours. It proved too

:21:17. > :21:20.heavy. One of my staff kicked the man and he dropped it and the other

:21:21. > :21:28.member of staff grabbed it and ran off with it. One month later gang

:21:29. > :21:32.members spotted a rhino cup at an auction house in Sussex, but when

:21:33. > :21:39.they went through the front door they went for the wrong cup. The

:21:40. > :21:44.gang returned to Durham, checking out the galleries, then smashing

:21:45. > :21:48.their way in. A huge ?2 million worth of Chinese artefacts in a

:21:49. > :21:53.hedge, but one of the burglars forgot where he had put them and

:21:54. > :21:59.they were recovered. The gang were desperate for success and the new

:22:00. > :22:02.plan took them to Cambridge. On a spring day in 2012, three gang

:22:03. > :22:08.members came into the museum and they took a particular interest in

:22:09. > :22:13.the Oriental galleries. Just before half past seven the following

:22:14. > :22:17.evening the alarms went off. They grabbed 18 objects with a market

:22:18. > :22:24.value of ?40 million which have not been seen since. It is a betrayal of

:22:25. > :22:30.trust. These objects belong to the public and it is theft by a series

:22:31. > :22:36.of selfish individuals and there are no longer on display. One by one the

:22:37. > :22:39.gang were arrested and charged. A criminal network which was thought

:22:40. > :22:43.to have operated across Europe was closed down, but the treasures which

:22:44. > :22:48.belong to all of us have yet to be recovered.

:22:49. > :22:51.An unusual cover of a rap song posted on YouTube has made

:22:52. > :22:55.Sparsh Shah's Indian-style version of "Not Afraid" by Eminem has been

:22:56. > :22:59.He has a brittle bone disease which means he suffers

:23:00. > :23:01.frequent fractures and has to use a wheelchair.

:23:02. > :23:12.When I woke up I had 72,000 views and it kept

:23:13. > :23:18.on going and going and I had more and more views.

:23:19. > :23:23.I fell in love with the song, it was so lifting and inspiring

:23:24. > :23:30.and ever since then Eminem became my rap idol.

:23:31. > :23:34.I have had over 125 fractures to date and I don't know how many

:23:35. > :23:44.It shows a clear transition from a life where you always feel

:23:45. > :23:47.you are going to go down, you feel like you are worthless

:23:48. > :23:51.and nothing is going to happen, to you are ready to make it big

:23:52. > :23:59.time, you are not afraid to take a stand.

:24:00. > :24:13.When it was posted on social media it blew up.

:24:14. > :24:16.It would mean the world to me if my biggest idol Eminem

:24:17. > :24:26.Besides writing songs and stuff I write poems,

:24:27. > :24:43.I want to be a sit down comedian one day.

:24:44. > :24:51.World News America will be live in Wisconsin for the latest primaries.

:24:52. > :24:55.If you are in the UK the news at ten is reporting that the Business

:24:56. > :25:01.Secretary is on his way to India for talks with the chairman of Tata

:25:02. > :25:10.steel. We are back tomorrow, thank you for being with us.

:25:11. > :25:18.It is time to get a check on the weather for the next week or so and

:25:19. > :25:19.the forecast has not changed. It will remain very unsettled for the

:25:20. > :25:21.rest of this
