:00:17. > :00:30.Tonight on Reporting Scotland: The latest census figures reveal that

:00:30. > :00:36.most people living hearsay they feel Scottish only, with only one in five

:00:36. > :00:44.saying British, too. IC Andy Murray as Scottish, not British. Also

:00:44. > :00:48.tonight, Javaid Ali, a well-known paisley grosser viciously attacked

:00:48. > :00:55.in his own shop. This man gets 15 years for killing him. Lights on at

:00:55. > :01:04.Glasgow's biggest and newest entertainment venue. And an

:01:04. > :01:08.Edinburgh derby. And I will have the forecast live from the heart of

:01:09. > :01:11.Dumfriesshire where I have been exploring the forest on two wheels.

:01:11. > :01:21.And the weekend weather outlook, too. Nearly two thirds of people in

:01:21. > :01:24.Scotland identify themselves as Scottish only, according to results

:01:24. > :01:30.from the latest census. With less than a year until the independence

:01:30. > :01:34.referendum, the findings showed that fewer than one in five of the

:01:34. > :01:43.population described themselves as both Scottish and British. There is

:01:43. > :01:49.a census every ten years but the survey in 2011 had a new question -

:01:49. > :01:53.what do you feel is your national identity? And with the referendum

:01:53. > :01:57.less than a year away, the results have been eagerly anticipated. On

:01:57. > :02:02.the form you could tick more than one box but 62% said they were

:02:02. > :02:07.Scottish only, while a further 18% guide to themselves as Scottish and

:02:07. > :02:13.British. Whoever we think we are, it is clear we are becoming a more

:02:13. > :02:20.diverse society. People from ethnic minorities now make up 4% of the

:02:20. > :02:25.population, up from 2% ten years earlier. The biggest group is

:02:25. > :02:32.Asians, 3%, although Poles account for 2%. Glasgow has the most diverse

:02:32. > :02:45.population, with 12% from ethnic minorities. Scotland's modern

:02:45. > :02:53.society is diverse. News coming up at 8:15am... This first DJ has

:02:53. > :02:59.noticed a change. There are almost 15,000 Asians in Glasgow, and the

:02:59. > :03:05.station has increased its audience. Glasgow itself is a very nice place.

:03:05. > :03:12.No matter where else I go, I always come back home. I feel Scottish,

:03:12. > :03:16.very much. When I am watching tennis IC Andy Murray as Scottish, not

:03:16. > :03:19.British. It is just your own recognition. I think everybody will

:03:19. > :03:26.have their own feelings. It is not just an increasing Asian population

:03:26. > :03:31.the census has revealed. The number of Polish people here has risen

:03:31. > :03:35.dramatically. This time in the census we saw there were 55,000

:03:35. > :03:39.people in Scotland who said they were all in Poland, which made

:03:39. > :03:44.Poland the most common country of birth outside of the UK. It was

:03:44. > :03:53.number 18 back in 2001, so that is a big change. The number of Gaelic

:03:53. > :03:57.speakers has fallen again. It is down. But there is encouragement at

:03:57. > :04:02.schools like this in Edinburgh have helped the number of young people

:04:02. > :04:09.speaking the language to rise. If you look at the history from 1981 to

:04:09. > :04:21.1991, the decline was great. The numbers are now down to 2%. So that

:04:21. > :04:26.is extremely good news for us. So it is to help policy for a change in

:04:26. > :04:29.Scotland that these census information is vital, for planners

:04:29. > :04:34.and Government, councils and health boards. There is an absolute welter

:04:34. > :04:39.of information released today. They have reported married people are now

:04:40. > :04:44.in the minority, just 45% of Scots being married. It is the lowest

:04:44. > :04:51.figure ever recorded. And the way car ownership vary it is also

:04:51. > :04:55.revealed. Almost all, 86%, of households in Aberdeenshire, have

:04:55. > :05:00.access to a vehicle, but in Glasgow it is just 49%. Further figures,

:05:00. > :05:07.breaking these statistics down even more, will be released later in the

:05:07. > :05:13.year. A man has been jailed for 15 years for killing a shopkeeper in

:05:13. > :05:18.Paisley last summer. Javaid Ali was stabbed and injured so severely he

:05:18. > :05:24.died in hospital two weeks later. This is the man who left Javaid Ali

:05:24. > :05:30.to bleed to death. 31 year Rob Lee Anderson was a heroin addict. Javaid

:05:30. > :05:34.Ali was a popular shopkeeper who knew his customers. The assault

:05:34. > :05:41.shocked his family. At the time, his son appealed to find his attackers.

:05:41. > :05:45.He meant so much to us and it is heartbreaking. I cannot put into

:05:45. > :05:49.words the suffering this has caused our family, and it will take a long

:05:49. > :05:53.time for us to come to terms with it. Lee Anderson had gone to Mr

:05:54. > :05:58.Ali's shop apparently to steal from him, something went wrong and he

:05:58. > :06:04.stabbed Javaid Ali in the neck. There was no evidence of a struggle.

:06:04. > :06:09.Anderson fled and fit ooh was left to dial 999 himself. He told the

:06:09. > :06:13.operator he was bleeding badly. Customers arrived at the scene. One

:06:13. > :06:18.saw Mr Ali with but coming out of his neck like a ferritin. He was

:06:18. > :06:27.taken to hospital but died two weeks later. -- wrote out of his neck like

:06:27. > :06:33.a Fountain. They did an operation but did not know whether he would

:06:33. > :06:37.survive or not. Lee Anderson might not ever have been caught had he not

:06:37. > :06:43.confessed to his mother, Margaret, that it was him. She told the court

:06:43. > :06:47.she thought he was joking. It was only when the case featured on

:06:47. > :06:51.Crimewatch that she contacted the programme. She said Lee dressed like

:06:51. > :06:58.the man police were looking for and she wanted to eliminate him. She

:06:58. > :07:01.went to the police after he confessed to his brother. It came

:07:01. > :07:10.out in court that Lee Anderson had previously but been convicted of a

:07:10. > :07:16.robbery and assault. The judge told Lee Anderson that Mr Ali had been a

:07:16. > :07:21.popular and respected local figure, that had often shown his customers

:07:21. > :07:26.at some kindness. He said his loss was grave, not only to his family,

:07:26. > :07:34.but also to his local community that he served. He sentenced Lee Anderson

:07:34. > :07:40.to 15 years in prison. Tonight, some justice for Javaid Ali's family.

:07:40. > :07:44.Labour is challenging the First Mnister to back their proposed bill

:07:44. > :07:48.which would prevent evictions where tenants have fallen into arrears as

:07:48. > :07:52.a result of the so-called bedroom tax. Labour said it is a way of

:07:52. > :07:58.reducing the impact of a policy they say is unfair and unworkable. But at

:07:58. > :08:04.Holyrood Alex Salmond said all councils could follow the SNP's lead

:08:04. > :08:08.and take that step now. Housing associations mourn the bill could be

:08:08. > :08:14.damaging because evictions are sometimes necessary. Prosecutors in

:08:14. > :08:17.Peru are objecting to the guilty pleas from two women caught trying

:08:17. > :08:23.to smuggle cocaine out of Peru. Earlier this week, Melissa Reid from

:08:23. > :08:31.known senior club -- from Lenzie near Lascaux, and her companion,

:08:31. > :08:34.admitted to smuggling drugs. I have spoken to court officials here in

:08:34. > :08:38.Lima and they tell me the hearing is still expected to go ahead, and they

:08:38. > :08:43.do expect the judge to give a sentence at the end of this hearing.

:08:43. > :08:47.The prosecution will obviously... Have made the objections and say

:08:47. > :08:51.they believe the girls should be making a more complete confession,

:08:51. > :08:55.as they have been describing it. He will have the chance to make his

:08:55. > :09:00.case in the court room. The defence will also have their opportunity to

:09:00. > :09:05.defend the two young women. They both face up to 15 years in prison.

:09:05. > :09:09.That is the maximum sentence. They are hoping that the admission of

:09:09. > :09:13.guilt will ring that sentence down. At the moment it is a question,

:09:13. > :09:18.also, of logistics. These are usually held in private in very

:09:18. > :09:22.small court rooms inside prisons. Court officials have told me they

:09:22. > :09:28.are trying to find another court room which could accommodate all the

:09:28. > :09:30.media. This is the case of two so-called 's meals which has

:09:30. > :09:36.attracted unprecedented media attention. The former Labour MP Eric

:09:36. > :09:40.Joyce has pleaded not guilty to breach of the peace and a wrist

:09:40. > :09:44.distinct arrest at Edinburgh Airport in May. He entered the plea by

:09:44. > :09:49.letter at the city's Sheriff Court. He is accused of shouting, swearing

:09:49. > :09:55.and buttering offensive remarks are May the 19th. He stands trial next

:09:55. > :10:03.year. Still to come: Scotland's greatest crime novelist moves from

:10:03. > :10:08.the page to the stage. And the draw of the last eight of football's

:10:08. > :10:17.League Cup throws up a big derby. And the plans to give rugby's

:10:17. > :10:22.Heineken European Cup the boot. Clydesdale Bank has been fined

:10:22. > :10:24.nearly £9 million by city regulators and will have to give thousands of

:10:24. > :10:30.pounds to thousands of people after it took too much in monthly payments

:10:30. > :10:33.from mortgage customers. The bank was trying to rectify a previous

:10:33. > :10:39.error made by staff but officials say they were too concerned with

:10:39. > :10:42.their own commercial interests. The Scottish fire board has voted to

:10:42. > :10:48.reduce the number of control rooms across the country from eight to

:10:48. > :10:51.three. It is a move to cut -- the move to cut the final number

:10:51. > :11:01.22-macro was rejected. The Fire Brigades Union say its members are

:11:01. > :11:07.angry. Firefighters at the scene of a blaze in the Aberdeenshire village

:11:07. > :11:12.this morning. A 75 you roll man died. The house was well alight

:11:12. > :11:16.before they arrived. They were dispatched by a control room in

:11:16. > :11:19.Aberdeen which is now under threat. It is one of eight around the

:11:19. > :11:25.country but following today's decision, only the one in Johnston

:11:25. > :11:32.is secure. Two more will be reprieved, though they have not yet

:11:32. > :11:35.been named. I am very angry and I think the proposals are irrational

:11:35. > :11:42.and dangerous. The loss of local knowledge that will come about will

:11:42. > :11:45.put people 's lives at risk. Are members are very angry. It is due

:11:45. > :11:50.mainly to the shock of this announcement. Had they been

:11:50. > :11:57.prospered -- had there been proper consultation we could have removed

:11:57. > :12:03.such a shock but has generated such anger. The equivalent savings in

:12:03. > :12:07.terms of firefighter numbers would see 162 posts cut. These proposals,

:12:07. > :12:14.say management, protect front line services. I do not think we would

:12:14. > :12:18.ever put the public in danger. If we look at these proposals and at any

:12:18. > :12:21.point we think there is a danger, an increased risk to the public, we

:12:21. > :12:27.would revise the proposals. Our intention is to make the public of

:12:27. > :12:31.Scotland even safer, not put them in more danger. These firefighters will

:12:31. > :12:35.go through the same process that Scottish ambulance colleagues did.

:12:35. > :12:40.They have their control rooms merged several years ago. The process of

:12:40. > :12:44.merging eight fire control centres into three could take several years

:12:44. > :12:50.to complete. The battle for survival among the centres has only just

:12:50. > :12:53.begun. Other stories from across Scotland this Thursday.

:12:53. > :12:57.The Scottish Government is to start a trial ferry service between South

:12:57. > :13:00.Uist and Mallaig. The route, axed in the 1990s, is a shorter crossing

:13:00. > :13:04.than the current Lochboisdale to Oban sailing. The three-year trial

:13:04. > :13:08.will run two days a week between November and April.

:13:08. > :13:13.Air passengers travelling to and from Shetland are to get more seats

:13:13. > :13:15.and bigger aircraft. The main carrier, Loganair, operates the

:13:15. > :13:20.FlyBe services from Sumburgh Airport. The airline says seats are

:13:20. > :13:25.difficult to book because of the large number of oil and gas workers

:13:25. > :13:29.in the islands. The SNP have lost control of Argyll

:13:29. > :13:33.and Bute Council to a coalition of Independent, Conservative and

:13:33. > :13:37.Lib-Dem councillors. Former council leader Dick Walsh has been elected

:13:37. > :13:40.to lead the new ruling group. It follows months of wrangling between

:13:40. > :13:44.the council's political and independent groups.

:13:45. > :13:47.The Save our Libraries Moray group have taken their first step towards

:13:48. > :13:52.legal action against council plans to close seven libraries. Details of

:13:53. > :13:56.their complaint have now been passed to advocates who will advise on

:13:56. > :14:01.their chances of success in a judicial review.

:14:01. > :14:05.Shark blood could be used to target breast cancer. Researchers believe

:14:05. > :14:09.it has unique properties which could attack common forms of the cancer.

:14:09. > :14:20.They've received £200,000 for a three-year study. Human antibodies

:14:20. > :14:26.do not recognise human cancers because they are one of our own

:14:26. > :14:30.selves, but antibodies from Sharp 's can do better. So they might be able

:14:30. > :14:34.to target things like cancer cells. And there are more sports stories,

:14:34. > :14:40.plus all the latest news, 24 hours a day on BBC Sport Scotland's website.

:14:40. > :14:45.Scotland's most successful crime author is making his stage debut at

:14:45. > :14:48.the theatre in Edinburgh. Ian Rankin has co-written a new

:14:48. > :15:02.crime drama, but there's no sign of Rebus. Chief Superintendent Isabel

:15:02. > :15:13.MacArthur is about to retire. You are still self obsessed I see, you

:15:13. > :15:19.have not changed. White began --. A serial killer has spent 25 years in

:15:19. > :15:26.jail. I haven't seen my wife or daughter in 25 years. I suppose I

:15:26. > :15:32.don't blame them. He Sounds like familiar territory. He says it was a

:15:32. > :15:38.challenge. There is a lot of contemporary crime on TV. People

:15:38. > :15:43.don't do it for the stage, so the question that I was asked was why? I

:15:43. > :15:50.thought we would have a go, that was the challenge. Look to the cat

:15:50. > :15:56.dragged in. It is a new play that looks to unsettle the audience. What

:15:56. > :16:01.we wanted to do was to keep people guessing, create doubt and create

:16:01. > :16:06.psychological fear, rather than a horror story. So that you could

:16:06. > :16:12.start to identify with these people as I think that is the great

:16:12. > :16:16.opportunity of theatre. Haven't seen you for three years. It seems that

:16:16. > :16:22.Ian Rankin has been won over by the stage. When you come to do something

:16:22. > :16:28.in the theatre, it is part of a team. I think is quite enjoying that

:16:28. > :16:35.side of it. The author is ticking next year off writing, but it is

:16:35. > :16:43.likely that this will not be even Rankin's last trip to the theatre.

:16:43. > :16:48.The lights have been switched on at Scotland's newest and biggest

:16:48. > :16:51.entertainment venue. The Hydro, which has a capacity for 13,000

:16:51. > :16:54.people, will officially open on Monday with the first of four

:16:54. > :16:57.concerts by Rod Stewart. And although its exterior is now a

:16:57. > :17:00.familiar sight on the Glasgow skyline, today was the first chance

:17:00. > :17:10.to see inside the venue. Our arts correspondent Pauline McLean was

:17:10. > :17:12.there. It has taken shape slowly. A brand-new landmark on the Glasgow

:17:12. > :17:17.skyline. This should really provide and deal with all of those issues. A

:17:17. > :17:21.first chance to see in the side. The key things were making sure that

:17:21. > :17:26.every seat has a fantastic view. They all face the stage, that led us

:17:26. > :17:31.to the circular arrangement. We had then tried to optimise the visitor

:17:31. > :17:34.experience from the way that the building is arranged functionally,

:17:34. > :17:38.right down to the details so that every seat has been customised. It

:17:38. > :17:40.has taken eight years and a fantastic view. They all face the

:17:40. > :17:42.stage, that led us to the circular arrangement. We had then tried to

:17:43. > :17:45.optimise the visitor experience from the way that the building is

:17:45. > :17:47.arranged functionally, right down to the details so that every seat has

:17:48. > :17:55.been customised. It has taken eight years postponed. With Rod Stewart

:17:55. > :18:01.lined up to play the first of four concerts, they were determined to

:18:01. > :18:05.make sure that it opened on time. We have audiences that want a

:18:05. > :18:09.world-class venue, we have a lot of people that are committed to

:18:09. > :18:15.purchasing tickets and are making arrangements. We did not want to let

:18:15. > :18:19.them all the artists down. What was important for us was to hold to that

:18:19. > :18:31.line and get open and start to bring in the best bands in the world. This

:18:31. > :18:35.morning, Scott's and Admiral Fallow, Became Translation: The First To

:18:35. > :18:43.Perform Them. ??yellow Other Acts Will Probably Fill It. I think

:18:43. > :18:49.Fleetwood Mac are playing soon. It is good to have a purpose-built

:18:49. > :18:54.venue. There are big venues in Glasgow, but I think this should be

:18:54. > :18:59.a step up. Last night, the lights went on to signal that it is open

:18:59. > :19:03.for business. Hopefully, that is music to the ears of fans across the

:19:03. > :19:09.country. Now, it's time for all the latest

:19:09. > :19:13.sport with David. Good evening. It'll be Hibs against Hearts for a

:19:13. > :19:17.place in the last four of the League Cup. The capital clubs were drawn

:19:17. > :19:21.against each other earlier in the quarterfinal draw. Let's have a

:19:21. > :19:24.look. Elsewhere, Premiership leaders Inverness are at home to Dundee

:19:24. > :19:27.United. After toppling Celtic, Morton now take on St Johnstone,

:19:27. > :19:30.confirmation of the Edinburgh derby and Aberdeen travel to face

:19:30. > :19:33.Motherwell. Chris McLaughlin has been getting reaction Scotland's

:19:33. > :19:36.women will beat Bosnia at Motherwell's Fir Park tonight if

:19:36. > :19:42.they play their normal game. Eight keys in the draw, what chance

:19:42. > :19:50.of a quarterfinal derby? -- eight teams. Hearts almost did not make

:19:50. > :20:01.it. They had to rely on this penalty. Who are the favourites?

:20:01. > :20:06.Aberdeen, they put five past Falkirk thanks to a Scott Vernon hat strip.

:20:06. > :20:14.Even the club's new boy is aware of the city's need for success. The

:20:14. > :20:20.airport security and the taxi drivers of the city want silverware.

:20:20. > :20:24.But we just have to play the games and will hope to get some

:20:24. > :20:29.silverware. It will be tough against Motherwell who saw the Livingston

:20:29. > :20:33.last night. No easy tie for Dundee United who progressed past Partick

:20:33. > :20:38.and Inverness on weight. No Old Firm, so everyone has their eye on

:20:39. > :20:42.the trophy. We all think we are in with a chance. The result on Tuesday

:20:43. > :20:49.night makes everyone think it is their year. Who wants it most will

:20:49. > :20:55.win it. The first trophy of the season is at stake and the battle to

:20:56. > :20:59.win it is wide open. That's the view of national manager Anna Signeul.

:20:59. > :21:02.It's Scotland's first home world cup qualifier of the campaign, following

:21:02. > :21:07.the weekend win in the Faroe Islands. Only the group winners are

:21:07. > :21:13.guaranteed to make the finals in Canada in 2015. And you can see the

:21:13. > :21:20.game live on BBC Alba or listen to it on BBC Radio Scotland, 810mw.

:21:20. > :21:23.The Scottish Rugby Union says the country's professional teams won't

:21:23. > :21:27.be allowed to take part in the proposed new European Rugby

:21:27. > :21:30.championship. The competition doesn't have the backing of the

:21:30. > :21:35.game's governing body the International Rugby Board.

:21:35. > :21:38.But French and English clubs say they'll start the competition next

:21:38. > :21:46.season and have invited Glasgow and Edinburgh to join. Glasgow Warriors

:21:46. > :21:53.leaving for Italy and their match against a zebra in the pro 12

:21:53. > :21:58.league. That is made up from -- of teams from various countries. Most

:21:58. > :22:06.of the pro 12 teams automatically qualify to play in the Heineken Cup.

:22:06. > :22:11.The Heineken Cup is a great competition. It involves Six Nations

:22:11. > :22:20.and I think it is a great competition. I was involved in the

:22:20. > :22:26.past. But now there is a plan for a breakaway European competition

:22:26. > :22:30.called the rugby Champions Cup. That would effectively killed off the

:22:30. > :22:36.Heineken Cup. They have invited 12 professional teams to join. Those

:22:36. > :22:41.behind the plan say teams like Edinburgh and Glasgow face financial

:22:41. > :22:47.ruin if they don't join. The Scottish Rugby union like its

:22:47. > :22:51.counterparts oppose the new, -- on petition. European rugby is

:22:51. > :23:01.fantastic. I am sure we will work something out. Will get past all of

:23:01. > :23:08.the posturing. Glasgow, like Edinburgh, embarked on this

:23:08. > :23:11.season's Heineken Cup adventure next month. It could be their last ever

:23:11. > :23:15.campaign in the competition. That is all I have is. Let's have a look at

:23:15. > :23:29.the weather. Good evening. We are in the heart of

:23:29. > :23:34.Dumfriesshire. Right next door to the forest which I have been

:23:34. > :23:39.exploring today. The best place in the UK is not the world to do so.

:23:39. > :23:44.The world to do so. There are Motability in Dumfriesshire is spot

:23:44. > :23:48.next to the forest. The economy here is not just about timber, it is

:23:48. > :23:55.about tyres as well. This is one of the seven stains, world-class

:23:55. > :23:59.mountain biking trails. They are keyed to the local economy, they

:23:59. > :24:04.bring in 400,000 visitors per year with a spend of about £9 million.

:24:04. > :24:10.80% of those visitors are out with South of Scotland, so it is a big

:24:10. > :24:18.spend. we had been quoted as a mountain bike mecca. We have been

:24:18. > :24:23.listed in the top to do. We have world-class facilities, we have the

:24:23. > :24:33.best in the UK. It is free to use the trails and they... wow. This is

:24:33. > :24:39.one of the more challenging downhill trails. It is fun. There are 400

:24:39. > :24:46.kilometres worth of trails right across the south of Scotland. That

:24:46. > :24:53.was scarier than it looked. One of the only sport where it does not

:24:53. > :24:57.matter what the weather is doing. When it rained tonight? Well it

:24:57. > :25:03.should say dry for this evening. Let us look at the map from 7pm. There

:25:03. > :25:06.will be outbreaks of rain in the south-west. They will edge

:25:06. > :25:11.northwards towards Argyll. Quite patchy stuff. Across the far north,

:25:11. > :25:15.it will be chilly. Across rural parts, down to two Celsius. Towns

:25:15. > :25:22.and cities in the north, down to four or five. Ten or 11 sources in

:25:22. > :25:27.the South. Tomorrow morning, it is a quite murky start to the day. It is

:25:27. > :25:32.quite north # Cloudy up north. Forget the

:25:32. > :25:36.brightness we saw this morning. We will continue to see patchy

:25:36. > :25:43.outbreaks of rain. By mid-afternoon, four o'clock, we will have

:25:43. > :25:48.temperatures close to average. We could see a fair amount of cloud,

:25:48. > :25:52.particularly as parts of Argyll. Further north up towards Lewis and

:25:52. > :25:56.Harris we will have some sunshine and towards Inverness, there would

:25:56. > :26:00.be so bright spells. The further east and south they come, they could

:26:00. > :26:04.be bright skies, but generally cloudy. For the rest of the

:26:04. > :26:09.afternoon and overnight, it will stay largely dry, largely cloudy

:26:09. > :26:12.over the country. Very little change. Let's look at the pressure

:26:12. > :26:18.charts. The ridge of high pressure that we had to date bringing the

:26:18. > :26:22.settled conditions retreats back towards Scandinavia and that will

:26:22. > :26:26.let a weather front walk in across the North West. On Saturday, the

:26:26. > :26:30.central and southern parts, it will be generally dry and cloudy. There

:26:30. > :26:35.will be outbreaks of rain. Further south, temperatures up a notch. It

:26:35. > :26:39.is a similar story as we head into Sunday. The rain should clear away

:26:39. > :26:43.by the tail end of the day, so the Sunday it is generally dry and

:26:43. > :26:54.cloudy. Temperatures up and maybe we will see 17 sources. It is not

:26:54. > :26:56.looking too bad. Let me tell you that this village over my shoulder

:26:56. > :27:01.in the distance, that holds the title for the shortest place name in

:27:01. > :27:05.the UK, as it is called Ae. Now, a reminder of tonight's main news in

:27:05. > :27:08.brief. Nearly two-thirds of people in Scotland identify themselves as

:27:08. > :27:11.Scottish only, according to results from the latest census. With less

:27:11. > :27:14.than a year until the independence referendum, the findings reveal that

:27:14. > :27:16.fewer than one in five of the population described themselves as

:27:16. > :27:19.both Scottish and British. Interpol has issued an international

:27:19. > :27:23.wanted persons alert for the British widow of one of the London 7/7

:27:23. > :27:27.bombers, Samantha Lewthwaite. It was issued at the request of Kenya just

:27:27. > :27:30.two days after the end of the siege of the shopping mall in Nairobi in

:27:30. > :27:34.which dozens of people were killed. The alert relates to a suspected

:27:34. > :27:37.bomb plot two years ago. But there has been speculation that she took

:27:37. > :27:41.part in the shopping mall attack. That is asked. I will back with the

:27:41. > :27:46.headlines at 8pm and the late bulletin just after the 10pm news. I

:27:46. > :27:47.hope you have a very good evening. Goodbye.
