:00:09. > :00:16.Am Good evening. It's four months to the day since a

:00:17. > :00:19.police helicopter crashed on to the roof of the Clutha Bar in Glasgow,

:00:20. > :00:23.killing ten people. Tomorrow a memorial service will be held at St

:00:24. > :00:28.Andrews Cathedral. Some of those who were there have been telling Aileen

:00:29. > :00:34.Clarke what they remember. On the last Friday of every month these

:00:35. > :00:39.friends would meet up in the Clutha Bar to enjoy each other's company

:00:40. > :00:45.and listen to the band. They remembered Friday the 29th of

:00:46. > :00:49.November. Their train was late so I ended up sitting in the station

:00:50. > :00:54.waiting for them so when we got into the pub we were three quarters of an

:00:55. > :01:00.hour later than normal so the corner we usually student was occupied so

:01:01. > :01:06.we ended up standing at the door. If we had been any other corner we

:01:07. > :01:11.would all have walked out, simple as that. Joe was standing right next to

:01:12. > :01:19.me. I turned away from him to talk to Callum. Then it all went black.

:01:20. > :01:25.There was dust everywhere. Next thing we knew we were trapped. We

:01:26. > :01:34.could not move her legs. I look to my left and I could not see. Our

:01:35. > :01:37.friends were standing there one moment laughing and joking and then

:01:38. > :01:48.there was nothing. There was silence. We kept seeing, where was

:01:49. > :01:54.Joe. I got out and someone said a helicopter has hit the pub, I

:01:55. > :02:01.thought it was a bomb. Could you take in that information that a

:02:02. > :02:05.helicopter had hit the pub? Now, we were standing looking at it we could

:02:06. > :02:12.see the rotor was sticking in the roof but we still could not

:02:13. > :02:18.understand it. It was too surreal. Amongst that group, Joe Cusker was a

:02:19. > :02:26.particular friend? Yes, I knew Joe from school. We were very close. He

:02:27. > :02:33.brightened up any company. He was a great person. He drank gin with one

:02:34. > :02:45.bottle of tonic all night. He was a great sky. Losing Joe was awful. It

:02:46. > :02:52.was horrendous. You are all still carrying injuries from that night.

:02:53. > :02:59.Yes, I fit blinds and I can't... He cannot use his left hand. Are you

:03:00. > :03:05.going to manage keep the last Friday of the month club going? Yes, we

:03:06. > :03:10.cannot wait to get back. We want to make sure we keep this going by

:03:11. > :03:15.yourselves, but as a memorial as well to Joe. The first night will be

:03:16. > :03:20.very emotional but we are determined to go through with it. Whenever we

:03:21. > :03:25.meet, we will always have a toast to Joe.

:03:26. > :03:28.A report in the Guardian tonight suggests the UK Government would

:03:29. > :03:31.share the pound with an independent Scotland - despite insisting

:03:32. > :03:33.publicly that it would not. The newspaper quotes an unnamed UK

:03:34. > :03:36.government minister as saying "of course there would be a currency

:03:37. > :03:40.union." Deputy First Minister Nicola Sturgeon said it could only add to

:03:41. > :03:42.the sense of crisis engulfing the No campaign. The Scottish Secretary,

:03:43. > :03:47.Alistair Carmichael, dismissed the report.

:03:48. > :03:50.The deputy prime minister, Nick Clegg, has compared the SNP's desire

:03:51. > :03:55.for Scottish independence with UKIP's plan to take Britain out of

:03:56. > :03:58.the European Union. Addressing his Scottish party conference in

:03:59. > :04:00.Aberdeen, he said both parties wanted to, as he put it, "break

:04:01. > :04:03.apart" established partnerships between nations. Here's our

:04:04. > :04:13.political correspondent, Glenn Campbell.

:04:14. > :04:20.The trouble with dinosaurs is the art extinct. The Lib Dems don't want

:04:21. > :04:26.their record in government to do for them at the next election or to lose

:04:27. > :04:31.votes for the union in the independence referendum. Willie

:04:32. > :04:37.Rennie has a sunshine strategy to remain positive. We need to make

:04:38. > :04:44.sure we emphasise the positive. We have to emphasise the great unions

:04:45. > :04:46.we have across the United union, the research union between our

:04:47. > :04:52.universities, these are great things. The message of Nick Clegg

:04:53. > :04:59.seem to be, I agree with Willie Rennie. It is right that we explain

:05:00. > :05:04.the risks and consequences of Scotland voting to leave the union,

:05:05. > :05:08.we must also set out the opportunities of voting to stay. The

:05:09. > :05:14.prospect of remaining in the United Kingdom must be just as thrilling as

:05:15. > :05:18.the drama of leaving it. He favours further devolution if there is a no

:05:19. > :05:25.vote, but fresh from his debate with the UKIP leader, he could not resist

:05:26. > :05:33.seeking a parallel with the SNP. They both represent the same impulse

:05:34. > :05:41.to break apart. It is irresponsible to sow division and build walls

:05:42. > :05:45.between nations and communities. The Lib Dems want Scotland in Britain

:05:46. > :05:49.and Britain in the European Union but because they are in power in

:05:50. > :05:55.Westminster at a time of relative austerity, they know that does not

:05:56. > :05:59.make them the most popular party in Scottish politics. Here in Aberdeen

:06:00. > :06:02.the Scottish Lib Dem leader has called for the bedroom tax to be

:06:03. > :06:08.scrapped. Lib Dem ministers have hinted they will hand Holyrood more

:06:09. > :06:11.power to offset the impact. For the Yes Campaign, chief

:06:12. > :06:14.executive Blair Jenkins said he believed many Liberal Democrats in

:06:15. > :06:21.Scotland were now recognising the benefits of independence. I think a

:06:22. > :06:26.lot of people in the Liberal Democrats will be reappraising no, I

:06:27. > :06:32.reading up on the wrong side of this debate? I do believe most people on

:06:33. > :06:35.the Lib Dems in Scotland want a different society with different

:06:36. > :06:40.values which is currently different from what is being reflected in the

:06:41. > :06:43.conservative coalition. That is unhappiness in their ranks in the

:06:44. > :06:45.Liberal Democrats in Scotland. Here's Kirsteen now with the weekend

:06:46. > :06:52.weather outlook. That's Reporting Scotland. Thank you

:06:53. > :06:59.very much. Much of Scotland looks cloudy, the one exception is the

:07:00. > :07:06.north-west Highlands. We start the day on a cloudy note tomorrow with

:07:07. > :07:12.some rain around for a time. That's readable gradually diets. It will

:07:13. > :07:20.remain cloudy in the East. -- that rain will gradually die out. Best of

:07:21. > :07:25.the weather in the south-west, into the north-west and the Inverness

:07:26. > :07:26.area with highs of 14 Celsius. The clocks go forward by one hour

:07:27. > :07:33.tomorrow night. Thank you very much. the weekend. The clocks do go

:07:34. > :07:39.forward on Saturday night. Now here is Nick Miller with the national

:07:40. > :07:45.forecast. Hello. The clocks go forward this

:07:46. > :07:49.weekend, marking the beginning of British summertime, BST. It has

:07:50. > :07:53.nothing to do with the weather. As the clocks changed last year we were

:07:54. > :07:58.coming out of the March freeze. This year, though, as the clucks

:07:59. > :07:59.change, the weather is warming
