:00:00. > :00:11.on the BBC News Channel. I'll be back with the late news at 10pm.

:00:12. > :00:15.Good evening. A seven-year-old boy is in hospital

:00:16. > :00:18.in Aberdeen with serious burns, after being found on fire in a

:00:19. > :00:21.street in the city. Police say petrol was involved in the incident

:00:22. > :00:25.and they're following a positive line of inquiry. Our reporter Steven

:00:26. > :00:32.Duff is at the scene tonight. What do we know about what happened,

:00:33. > :00:37.Steven? Really horrible events here just

:00:38. > :00:43.after lunchtime on Bedford Avenue in Aberdeen. A lot of children were out

:00:44. > :00:46.enjoying the sunshine in the school holidays. Emergency services

:00:47. > :00:52.received a call just before 2pm saying that a boy was on fire.

:00:53. > :00:56.Eyewitnesses saw him come down from these flats on fire from his neck to

:00:57. > :01:01.his legs. He was running and screaming, trying to douse himself

:01:02. > :01:05.will stop tonight, he is in a serious condition at Aberdeen Royal

:01:06. > :01:11.Infirmary. We spoke to two neighbours who saw what happened.

:01:12. > :01:15.We heard him screaming. He had been lying on the floor, trying to get

:01:16. > :01:20.himself calm, but nothing was working. He was screaming and

:01:21. > :01:24.crying. He was on fire from the neck

:01:25. > :01:33.downwards. His clothes were sticking to him. Was horrid.

:01:34. > :01:38.The flames weren't really big but enough to do damage.

:01:39. > :01:44.We saw his clothes and shoes lying on the ground. By the time we got

:01:45. > :01:50.there, it was sticking to his skin. It looked like it had melted onto

:01:51. > :01:55.his skin. It was horrible. There were lots of people around.

:01:56. > :02:00.You couldn't really see anything, and then somebody handed him a

:02:01. > :02:05.bucket of water. A lot of police activity here

:02:06. > :02:09.tonight on Bedford Avenue. Police Scotland say enquiries are at an

:02:10. > :02:12.early stage. They are following a positive line of enquiry. They don't

:02:13. > :02:17.know if there is any criminal elements, whether this was a tragic

:02:18. > :02:20.accident. Thank you. Two Scottish companies, led by

:02:21. > :02:23.supporters of the Yes campaign in the independence debate, say they're

:02:24. > :02:26.leaving the CBI over its support for a 'no' vote. Aquamarine Power, which

:02:27. > :02:29.develops wave turbines, made the move after the CBI registered with

:02:30. > :02:32.the Electoral Commission as a campaign group in favour of keeping

:02:33. > :02:38.the union. Balhousie care home group is also pulling out of the business

:02:39. > :02:41.organisation. A Highland farmer, whose properties

:02:42. > :02:44.have been raided by police investigating the birds of prey

:02:45. > :02:47.poisonings, has called for more resources for the investigation. A

:02:48. > :02:51.number of the dead birds were found close to Ewan Macdonald's land at

:02:52. > :02:54.Conon Bridge. He says neither he nor the local farming community has

:02:55. > :03:06.anything to hide, but fear their reputation is being tarnished.

:03:07. > :03:11.We are worried that our industry again get its name blackened. I am

:03:12. > :03:16.almost certain it has nothing to do with the farming industry. I would

:03:17. > :03:25.find it very shocking if it was. As an industry, we are desperate to get

:03:26. > :03:29.to the bottom of this. Police in Fife have released a CCTV

:03:30. > :03:31.image of a man they want to contact in connection with two sexual

:03:32. > :03:34.assaults in St Andrews. A 27-yar-old woman was attacked in

:03:35. > :03:37.the early hours of Wednesday, the 9th of April. An 18-year-old was

:03:38. > :03:41.indecently assaulted the following day at about one in the morning,

:03:42. > :03:43.while she was walking in the grounds of the University.

:03:44. > :03:47.Fire crews from Inverness have been fighting a major heath fire, which

:03:48. > :03:49.broke out this afternoon south of the city. A total of eight

:03:50. > :03:53.appliances and dozens of firefighters were brought in to

:03:54. > :03:56.tackle the blaze, and at one point there were fears for nearby houses.

:03:57. > :04:03.Police urged sightseers to stay away and advised local people to stay

:04:04. > :04:06.indoors because of the thick smoke. Sporting history has been made in

:04:07. > :04:11.Musselburgh, after the town hosted horse racing on Good Friday for the

:04:12. > :04:13.very first time. One of the most significant days on the Christian

:04:14. > :04:17.calendar, Good Friday was traditionally considered a day of

:04:18. > :04:20.rest for jockeys. Not everyone has welcomed the change, but the course

:04:21. > :04:24.management say they're moving with the times and hope they'll

:04:25. > :04:29.eventually be able to stage a three day Easter Festival of racing.

:04:30. > :04:34.It's a question that has been put to racing for many years. Just as

:04:35. > :04:39.society moves on and things change, we have got to the point where we

:04:40. > :04:42.are now racing. It is demand driven. Yesterday we were being promised a

:04:43. > :04:49.gorgeous Easter Weekend. Let's see how it's shaping up.

:04:50. > :04:55.There can't have been many complaints today. It should be

:04:56. > :05:00.fairer for most of the weekend. Blue skies across much of the country.

:05:01. > :05:04.This is a satellite picture from this afternoon. There has been a

:05:05. > :05:08.figure out of cloud in the far north-west. Through this evening,

:05:09. > :05:13.that will bring some outbreaks of rain. Elsewhere, it will stay dry

:05:14. > :05:19.with clear spells. It will become quite chilly, though not as cold

:05:20. > :05:27.last night. -- not as cold as last night. Into tomorrow, still cloudy

:05:28. > :05:31.with outbreaks of rain for the aisles, and the foreign north-west.

:05:32. > :05:37.But those are the exceptions. Elsewhere, it dry and bright.

:05:38. > :05:43.Temperature is widely into the maid or high teens. Always cooler around

:05:44. > :05:47.coastal areas. That is due to onshore breezes. On Easter Sunday,

:05:48. > :05:52.still plenty of dry and bright weather. A bit more clouds towards

:05:53. > :05:54.the east coast, so it will be cooler here. The best of the temperature is

:05:55. > :06:00.in the West. And that's Reporting Scotland. Our

:06:01. > :06:01.next update is tomorrow lunchtime during Sunday Politics Scotland.

:06:02. > :06:13.Until then, from everyone here, Today we have seen temperatures

:06:14. > :06:17.rising if Scotland but again tonight, with the clear skies and

:06:18. > :06:20.light wind temperatures will fall sharply, and for many of us, we are

:06:21. > :06:23.looking at a touch of frost. sharply, and for many of us, we are

:06:24. > :06:25.satellite picture tells a story nicely. This belt of cloud is

:06:26. > :06:26.sitting in the far north-west of
