:00:10. > :00:14.For Good evening. A statue honouring those from the

:00:15. > :00:19.Black Watch regiment who fell during World War One has been unveiled in

:00:20. > :00:22.Belgium. Three hundred veterans travelled from Scotland for the

:00:23. > :00:31.event in Flanders. Andrew Anderson was with them. A flag falls, the

:00:32. > :00:35.data from 100 years ago I remembered and honoured. This memorial is yards

:00:36. > :00:39.from where soldiers of the Black Watch fought one of the bloodiest

:00:40. > :00:47.early battles of what -- of World War I. Our great uncles, our

:00:48. > :00:55.grandfathers were here. They fought and died here. From across Scotland,

:00:56. > :00:59.has since had come to remember, different generations, including the

:01:00. > :01:04.oldest. But it's a hundred Black Watch veterans who made the journey

:01:05. > :01:09.to this field, this has been a pilgrimage, an opportunity to pay

:01:10. > :01:15.honour to their fallen. A statue of a Black Watch Sgt going into battle

:01:16. > :01:21.default a fitting tribute. When you consider that 100 years hasn't meant

:01:22. > :01:26.anything here, it is sit and proper that it should be. All traffic came

:01:27. > :01:31.to a halt. Many local people were also here to pay their respects. The

:01:32. > :01:37.Black Watch is held in high regard in this part of Belgium. This is the

:01:38. > :01:42.first Scottish event to mark the start of the centenary of World War

:01:43. > :01:47.I. One century on, the death of one of the first battles will now have a

:01:48. > :01:54.lasting memorial on lands known ever since then as Black Watch corner.

:01:55. > :01:56.Bomb disposal experts carried out a controlled explosion after a

:01:57. > :01:59."suspicious" object was found yesterday at flats in Wishaw, North

:02:00. > :02:04.Lanarkshire. The incident is not understood to be terrorism-related.

:02:05. > :02:06.Dundee will be playing in the Scottish Premiership next season.

:02:07. > :02:12.They won the Championship trophy by beating Dunfermline. Hamilton beat

:02:13. > :02:15.Morton 10-2, but it wasn't enough. In the Premiership, Celtic defeated

:02:16. > :02:19.Aberdeen - and there's a real battle near the bottom. With five teams

:02:20. > :02:23.trying to avoid the relegation play-off, Partick Thistle

:02:24. > :02:26.leapfrogged Ross County. Now, police warn about drinking and

:02:27. > :02:33.driving, but a new campaign's begun to stop people drinking and diving.

:02:34. > :02:42.Cameron Buttle reports. The waters around here are world famous for

:02:43. > :02:47.diving. Spectacular marine life and crystal clear water. Over the summer

:02:48. > :02:51.weekend, up to 400 divers will come here, but that is growing concern

:02:52. > :02:57.about the number of them who are drinking and diving. When you're

:02:58. > :03:02.hungover and turn up to dive the next morning, you're not thinking as

:03:03. > :03:08.clearly as you wait. You need to make quick decisions when you are

:03:09. > :03:14.diving to keep yourself safe. This is a serious sport with an inherent

:03:15. > :03:22.risk. It is vital that safety rules are old. Half the lifeboat call-outs

:03:23. > :03:27.were divers in distress. I quite often see divers out on the night

:03:28. > :03:32.before, having a couple of pints with their meal. Then I see them the

:03:33. > :03:38.next day diving from seeing ads. It is important to understand that they

:03:39. > :03:47.do not take too much alcohol, you don't want it still in your system.

:03:48. > :03:51.-- St Abs. A couple from Ayrshire got a wedding day surprise when they

:03:52. > :03:54.bumped into Prince Charles at Ayr Town Hall today. Private Barry

:03:55. > :03:57.Rooney and wife Kirstie posed for photos with the Duke of Rothesay,

:03:58. > :04:01.who was in town for an army parade and offered his congratulations.

:04:02. > :04:06.Time for the weather outlook for tonight - and tomorrow. And Judith

:04:07. > :04:10.Ralston is at the map... Good evening. We will see some rain

:04:11. > :04:16.during the course of this evening and tonight but predominantly dry

:04:17. > :04:22.across the country. Some rain in the West, extending eastwards across

:04:23. > :04:34.Scotland. Closing and dampers fear tomorrow morning. Misty and murky as

:04:35. > :04:42.well, the East Coast will off drive. Drier and brighter interludes, the

:04:43. > :04:49.better weather up towards the north-east. The highest temperatures

:04:50. > :04:55.in this region as well. Temperatures possibly up to 16 or 17 Celsius.

:04:56. > :04:57.Elsewhere, around 14 degrees. Quite breezy over the Northern Isles. And

:04:58. > :05:00.that's Reporting Scotland. Our next update is tomorrow

:05:01. > :05:03.lunchtime during Sunday Politics Scotland. Until then, from everyone

:05:04. > :05:10.here, enjoy the rest of your Saturday night.

:05:11. > :05:17.Good evening. It was a cold, even frosty start to the Bank Holiday

:05:18. > :05:20.weekend but for most of us day one of three has been dry. We are going

:05:21. > :05:21.to see changes,
