:02:23. > :02:27.first ever Commonwealth singles title. She could not quite find her

:02:28. > :02:33.best form and the Canadian prevailed in 38 minutes. In squash, the host

:02:34. > :02:42.team were looking to add one more medal to Scotland's tally, but

:02:43. > :02:46.England proved too strong. Cycling's Road race was hit by a

:02:47. > :02:51.dreadful weather conditions. The Glasgow public were out in force to

:02:52. > :02:55.offer plenty of encouragement, especially to Scotland's David

:02:56. > :03:00.Miller. He managed to finish in 11th.

:03:21. > :03:29.called the greatest ever Commonwealth games. 53 medals for

:03:30. > :03:37.Scotland, 19 of them gold. A stunning success rate. Away from the

:03:38. > :03:42.action, Glaswegians embraced these games, the city more than coping

:03:43. > :03:48.with the influx of people thrust onto the city and the demand that

:03:49. > :03:53.come with that. The athletes have been letting their hair down and

:03:54. > :03:58.going into party mode. It was a chance to say goodbye to Glasgow

:03:59. > :04:07.2014. Gone, but certainly not forgotten, not for a very long time.
