:10:54. > :10:58.he would be unable to look after their son when he left for work at
:10:59. > :11:03.4am. They had an argument and he strangled her. Sometime later he
:11:04. > :11:09.smuggled his young son and tried to kill himself, believing they might
:11:10. > :11:13.all be reincarnated together. The 33 -year-old funeral director pleaded
:11:14. > :11:23.guilty to the murder of his wife and the culpable homicide of his 2
:11:24. > :11:25.-year-old son. This latter plea, made on the grounds of diminished

:16:43. > :16:47.developed in the 1920s. In effect, it was one man's private plaything.
:16:48. > :16:53.Today it has gone and all but forgotten. Like so many other golf
:16:54. > :16:57.courses right across Scotland. I have a photograph here which I have
:16:58. > :17:04.marked the bunkers, the Tees and the Greens. I did this before coming to
:17:05. > :17:13.the site. The photograph says there is a bunker here. Let's see if we
:17:14. > :17:15.can find it. Researchers have been using aerial photography to identify
:17:16. > :17:19.key features of the course and hundreds of others. The long gone
:17:20. > :17:23.bunkers, greens and fairways reclaimed by nature. People
:17:24. > :17:33.concentrate on some of the beautiful links we have. Lots of golf courses
:17:34. > :17:37.have been lost without a trace. A few remain behind. Much has changed
:17:38. > :17:43.over the years but goal from mains as popular as ever. Researchers have
:17:44. > :17:49.already been building up a record of the courses and clubhouses which
:17:50. > :17:55.have enjoyed. Why? We have been doing aerial photography of over 500
:17:56. > :17:59.golf courses. That means we have incredible coverage of the landscape
:18:00. > :18:04.of Scotland and how golf courses fit into that. The aerial images and
:18:05. > :18:09.archive photographs of the lost golf courses and those which survived now
:18:10. > :18:10.easier to find. They are all available online, just in time for
