:00:14. > :00:16.The volunteers, on their second trip to Calais, say they've been

:00:17. > :00:19.overwhelmed by the generosity of the Scottish public.

:00:20. > :00:32.Boxes bound for migrants in Calais. Having been before, these volunteers

:00:33. > :00:36.know what kind of supplies are needed, especially now the weather

:00:37. > :00:46.has turned wintry. The conditions of the people there, absolutely bad.

:00:47. > :00:51.People do not have shoes, blankets. They get three, four people covered

:00:52. > :00:56.by bankers. Doctors are travelling on the trip as well, ready to treat

:00:57. > :01:02.migrants for all kinds of injuries as well as serious medical

:01:03. > :01:05.conditions. For people with cardiovascular diseases, problems

:01:06. > :01:09.with the heart, blood pressure tablets, but mostly trying to help

:01:10. > :01:14.with the basics and lots of antibiotics to combat the weather

:01:15. > :01:18.because of the snow. Conditions are cramped and basic. The volunteers

:01:19. > :01:24.say people are desperate for help. It is very muddy and wet. People

:01:25. > :01:28.need blankets and warm clothes, jackets, that kind of thing. When we

:01:29. > :01:33.went the last time we didn't have enough of those things. We had some

:01:34. > :01:38.that was donated very kindly by the Scottish people and again, we want

:01:39. > :01:40.to say thank you so much to them. Compared to their last visit,

:01:41. > :01:45.volunteers say the situation in what is known as the jungle seems to have

:01:46. > :01:49.worsened further, prompting plans for more aid trips like this one

:01:50. > :01:50.from Scotland the to migrant camps of Calais.

:01:51. > :01:52.Concern is being expressed about the future of

:01:53. > :01:54.the aluminium smelter at Fort William.

:01:55. > :01:57.Owner Rio Tinto has informed staff that it plans to review its

:01:58. > :02:03.The plant is one of the largest industrial employers in the area,

:02:04. > :02:07.supporting more than 160 full time jobs.

:02:08. > :02:10.Police are investigating an attack on a man in East Dunbartonshire.

:02:11. > :02:12.The assault happened around three o'clock this morning

:02:13. > :02:16.The 20-year-old was taken to hospital suffering from

:02:17. > :02:21.head injuries, but has since discharged himself.

:02:22. > :02:24.Andy Murray's father-in-law, Nigel Sears, is being treated

:03:24. > :03:28.Sears was taken ill. He was said by Andy Murray's brother Jimmy to be

:03:29. > :03:31.sitting up, conscious and talking and hospital this evening. On court

:03:32. > :03:37.it was a four set win for Andy Murray against Joao Sousa. Wrapping
