:00:21. > :00:25.24-year-old Gemma McMonagle, were pronounced dead at the scene.

:00:26. > :00:36.Floral tributes have been placed at the scene where two people died this

:00:37. > :00:42.morning. It was just before 1am when a car travelling north, out of the

:00:43. > :00:46.city, careered off the road, smashed into the railings and ended up in

:00:47. > :00:51.water. Police, fire and ambulance followed soon after the crash but

:00:52. > :00:55.the 21-year-old male driver and one of his 24-year-old female passengers

:00:56. > :01:00.were pronounced dead at the scene. There were three other passengers,

:01:01. > :01:03.two men, one women, were taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on the

:01:04. > :01:08.south side of Glasgow and the woman is in a critical condition, one man

:01:09. > :01:10.is stable, and the other man escaped without serious injury. The police

:01:11. > :01:14.this afternoon are appealing for anyone who may have seen anything

:01:15. > :01:17.witnessed the crash to come forward with any information they had.

:01:18. > :01:19.Thousands of steam enthusiasts turned out as the Flying Scotsman

:01:20. > :01:22.It followed a U-turn by Network Rail, which said

:01:23. > :01:26.on Friday the engine could not travel to Fife and the Borders.

:01:27. > :01:28.Our Transport Correspondent David Miller joined the locomotive

:01:29. > :01:43.This is arguably the most famous Scotsman in the world, and the

:01:44. > :01:45.crowds here are clearly delighted to see the locomotive back in the city

:01:46. > :01:53.it was built to serve. Network Rail see the locomotive back in the city

:01:54. > :01:56.stoked controversy late on Friday after cancelling excursions to the

:01:57. > :02:01.Borders and five up to the last minute. Despite months of planning,

:02:02. > :02:07.bosses argued they had not had enough time to complete safety

:02:08. > :02:11.checks. But, passengers finally had something to celebrate after 24

:02:12. > :02:15.hours of frantic negotiations. We got the good news and I was thinking

:02:16. > :02:19.hours of frantic negotiations. We it was icing on the cake. We were a

:02:20. > :02:22.bit disappointed, but we thought it would still be a good day out and we

:02:23. > :02:28.never intended to pull out and we were still going to do it, and we

:02:29. > :02:31.did. Happy days. Very happy days. And for the company behind the

:02:32. > :02:37.excursions, this was a day for celebration, not recrimination. It

:02:38. > :02:41.is awesome and it is a great bit of railway and all credit to the fact

:02:42. > :02:46.it has been built, and to have the Flying Scotsman here is topping it

:02:47. > :02:50.off. But the Scottish transport minister who worked to end the

:02:51. > :02:54.impasse still one sponsors. It is totally ridiculous that the project

:02:55. > :02:58.of this scale almost didn't go ahead because the process was not

:02:59. > :03:00.undertaken properly -- wants answers. This project should not

:03:01. > :03:05.have been jeopardised in the way it was, but I'm thankfully went ahead

:03:06. > :03:11.due to the interventions. This evening the Flying Scotsman left

:03:12. > :03:16.Waverley Station bound for Fife. The root of the locomotive over the

:03:17. > :03:18.Forth Bridge, and two of the country's engineering masterpieces

:03:19. > :03:23.were reacquainted on a truly memorable day. David Miller.

:03:24. > :03:26.Opposition parties at the Scottish parliament have said they'll

:03:27. > :03:31.try to repeal controversial legislation on sectarianism.

:03:32. > :03:34.The Conservatives have said the "Offensive Behaviour

:03:35. > :03:39.Labour MSP James Kelly said he plans to bring forward a Member's Bill

:03:40. > :03:42.With the Liberal Democrats and Scottish Greens,

:03:43. > :03:45.there is now a majority in parliament against it.

:03:46. > :03:47.The Scottish government has said the act had delivered

:03:57. > :03:58.The gurdwara or temple has taken six years to build,

:03:59. > :04:05.Almost every piece of raw material has been imported from India.

:04:06. > :04:08.The building will be made available to the general public when it's

:04:09. > :04:13.Around 10,000 people from Sikh communities across the UK came

:04:14. > :04:21.to the opening along with political and faith leaders.

:04:22. > :04:27.Andy Murray has beaten Novak Djokovic to win the Italian Open.

:04:28. > :04:29.On his 29th birthday, the Scot recorded his first win

:04:30. > :04:41.against the World Number One on clay in five attempts.

:04:42. > :04:43.Last weekend, Andy Murray lost to Novak Djokovic in the Mardrid

:04:44. > :04:47.But this afternoon in Rome, he made a statement of intent

:04:48. > :04:52.He then went on to take the set by 6-3.

:04:53. > :04:55.But it took the British Number One an hour and 35

:04:56. > :04:59.It came in straight sets, and he took the second set

:05:00. > :05:03.The victory means Murray will return to the world number two ranking,

:05:04. > :05:06.ahead of the French Open in Paris, which begins on May 22nd.

:05:07. > :05:08.In football, there were three Premiership matches today

:05:09. > :05:11.Sportscene has all the weekend highlights.

:05:12. > :05:19.So if you don't want to know the scores, look away now.

:05:20. > :05:21.It's over to Kirsteen now with the weather forecast

:05:22. > :05:31.Good evening. High pressure remains in charge of proceedings over the

:05:32. > :05:36.next day or so but something of a change is afoot after that. Tonight

:05:37. > :05:40.will be dry with one or two showers across the far north. The clearest

:05:41. > :05:44.skies will be through central and southern Scotland and we could have

:05:45. > :05:48.a touch of ground frost for sheltered rural areas, so gardeners,

:05:49. > :05:55.beware. Tomorrow we start the day on a drying out there will be plenty of

:05:56. > :05:58.sunshine around. A few showers across the western and Northern

:05:59. > :06:03.Isles, the north-west Highlands, and through much of the great Glen in

:06:04. > :06:06.towards Inverness, the north-east and central and southern Scotland,

:06:07. > :06:10.dry with plenty of brightness and sunshine around and temperatures

:06:11. > :06:14.around eight or nine Celsius. As we go through the day there will be

:06:15. > :06:18.some infill of cloud through central and southern parts and across the UK

:06:19. > :06:21.as a whole we are under the influence of high pressure, keeping

:06:22. > :06:26.is largely dry and settled with plenty of brightness and sunshine.

:06:27. > :06:30.Highs of 19 Celsius across the south-east, but for us in Scotland,

:06:31. > :06:36.around 15 or 16 Celsius at best and not feeling too bad at all with

:06:37. > :06:39.light winds in the sunshine. Towards evening, it stays dry, brightness

:06:40. > :06:43.and sunshine around and some light and patchy rain feeding into the

:06:44. > :06:46.north-west. As we go into Tuesday, high pressure begins to lose its

:06:47. > :06:50.grip on the weather and it becomes replaced by low-pressure. We start

:06:51. > :06:53.the day with a lot of dry, bright weather although it becomes

:06:54. > :06:56.increasingly cloudy with some rain moving into the West.
