:00:00. > :00:11.The Chief Executive of Aberdeen City Council is to look

:00:12. > :00:14.at which senior managers should be held accountable for its handling

:00:15. > :00:18.A report being published tomorrow will consider the authority's

:00:19. > :00:21.response to a national investigation which heavily criticised the way

:00:22. > :00:27.babies were cremated at the same time as adults.

:00:28. > :00:29.But BBC Scotland has learnt a second independent report,

:00:30. > :00:31.understood to criticise senior officials, won't be published.

:00:32. > :00:43.The main difference between these two reports is that one is heavily

:00:44. > :00:47.critical of certain individuals at the council, we understand, that is

:00:48. > :00:50.the one that is not going to be made public. The other one, the one we

:00:51. > :00:55.have seen this evening, which will be published tomorrow, is seemingly

:00:56. > :01:00.much more thwarted down. It is 84 pages long and detailed exactly what

:01:01. > :01:05.the council has done in response to the criticism of practices at Hazel

:01:06. > :01:09.head, but it does not talk about individuals. There is a crucial bit

:01:10. > :01:13.in it that says the chief executive is considering our strategic

:01:14. > :01:17.responsibility -- how it has been managed at the very top. We know

:01:18. > :01:22.only a junior manager has so far been sacked, and goes on to talk

:01:23. > :01:24.about what action should flow from this, so whether there should be any

:01:25. > :01:29.disciplinary action as a consequence. The leader of the SNP

:01:30. > :01:34.group at the council here, the main opposition, says it is about time

:01:35. > :01:40.somebody took responsible to. It is key from my perspective that the

:01:41. > :01:43.public now we are seeking accountability, that someone is held

:01:44. > :01:47.accountable or people are held accountable for the mistakes which

:01:48. > :01:54.were made. Will head to roll in the end? It would be my expectation, and

:01:55. > :01:55.it will be my expectation that people will be held accountable for

:01:56. > :01:59.their mistakes. The report will be people will be held accountable for

:02:00. > :02:03.published tomorrow morning at 10am on the council's website and

:02:04. > :02:04.councillors will get to debate it on webs -- Wednesday.

:02:05. > :02:07.It's been an historic day at the Olympics with Andy Murray

:02:08. > :02:09.taking gold and becoming the first tennis player to win

:02:10. > :02:13.The medal tally for Scottish athletes has now reached 12,

:02:14. > :02:15.our best ever for an overseas Olympics.

:02:16. > :02:20.Our Olympics reporter Jane Lewis has the details.

:02:21. > :02:28.The athletes village in Rio, home to those competing in the games, and

:02:29. > :02:32.for those living in this apartment block, what games they are shaping

:02:33. > :02:38.up to be. Team GB chalked up their 38th medal by close of play last

:02:39. > :02:44.night, gold for Andy Murray. Andy Murray is a double Olympic gold

:02:45. > :02:48.medallist! It has been a great few months for me, I'm very happy with

:02:49. > :02:54.how my tennis is going, obviously. I am glad to have won another gold

:02:55. > :02:58.medal. On a personal note it was a remarkable achievement, he is now a

:02:59. > :03:05.two time Olympic champion. And as a figurehead Team GB, this man who

:03:06. > :03:11.knows Andy Murray well believes his victory could inspire further

:03:12. > :03:14.success. As soon as he set foot in Rio, you could see how much this

:03:15. > :03:18.meant to him. You can see what this meant to him, you could see him

:03:19. > :03:22.talking to the other athletes, always aware of the other sports and

:03:23. > :03:29.the permutations of who needs what to qualify. Team GB have had an

:03:30. > :03:36.astonishing couple of days in Rio. Scottish athletes have played their

:03:37. > :03:40.part in that. Off the back of World Championships and World Cups we knew

:03:41. > :03:47.we were on the back foot, and coming into this, we would have taken

:03:48. > :03:53.another few months of preparation. To get medals in my first Olympics,

:03:54. > :03:55.I am just overjoyed, really. The young Stirling swimmer hanging in

:03:56. > :04:02.there for a silver medal for Great Britain! Before that the medals kept

:04:03. > :04:06.on coming, another silver for sterling's Duncan Scott. And other

:04:07. > :04:08.Scots could yet add to the medal tally of

:04:09. > :04:14.Isle of Lewis is still weeks away, according to the official

:04:15. > :04:18.The rig has lost more than 12,000 gallons of diesel

:04:19. > :04:33.It is now just over one week since this oil rig came ashore on the West

:04:34. > :04:38.Coast of Lewis. Six more salvaged personnel were put on board raising

:04:39. > :04:43.numbers to 14. Generators have been restarted as well. With the weather

:04:44. > :04:46.forecast calm this week, it is expected that preparations to

:04:47. > :04:52.refloat the rig can progress more quickly. More work over the next 48

:04:53. > :04:58.hours, looking at the towage plan, when we do come to the refloat,

:04:59. > :05:01.trying to identify a safe route to get the rig from the rocks into

:05:02. > :05:07.deeper water and safer back out to sea. A day like today shows clearly

:05:08. > :05:12.the incongruity of this leviathan of the deep coming ashore on a beauty

:05:13. > :05:16.spot like this. But today has also seen a range of activities that

:05:17. > :05:19.could see its early disappearance. The local community Association has

:05:20. > :05:24.called a meeting this evening to let people are their views. Probably our

:05:25. > :05:30.biggest concern is, will she actually thought. She comes in at

:05:31. > :05:36.17,000 tonnes, that is a lot of structure to toe. The worst scenario

:05:37. > :05:40.possible is that this becomes her graveyard. That is too horrendous to

:05:41. > :05:44.contemplate, so we're hoping that variable to repair her and do

:05:45. > :05:51.whatever is necessary to float her off safely. And soon. It has emerged

:05:52. > :05:56.that part of the 280,000 tonnes of diesel on-board -- 280 tonnes of

:05:57. > :06:00.diesel on-board has floated off. So far there have been no reports of

:06:01. > :06:03.pollution. Salvaged set up a line between the rig in the short to

:06:04. > :06:06.allow lighter items to be transferred, but heavier equipment

:06:07. > :06:08.could come in by heavy -- helicopter. Local people just want

:06:09. > :06:13.to see the rig from now. -- gone. There are fears in Moray

:06:14. > :06:16.that the army base at Kinloss may face the axe as part

:06:17. > :06:19.of a sell-off programme by the The former air base became

:06:20. > :06:22.a barracks four years ago when the RAF's

:06:23. > :06:24.Nimrod fleet was scrapped. But local politicians say

:06:25. > :06:26.the Ministry of Defence is now The MOD has already placed 22

:06:27. > :06:30.military properties on the market but says no decisions have been

:06:31. > :06:52.taken about further sell-offs. It has been a beautiful day and a

:06:53. > :06:56.dry night for follow, with some mist and fog patches for eastern areas as

:06:57. > :07:00.we head into tomorrow morning. These will quickly melt away to leave

:07:01. > :07:07.another guiding with long spells of broken sunshine -- unbroken

:07:08. > :07:15.sunshine. Temperatures will peak around 25, perhaps even 26 Celsius,

:07:16. > :07:18.widely around 28 -- 20-24d. Cooler along coastal areas, with a breeze

:07:19. > :07:23.from the south are South East, and for the extreme east coast, sea

:07:24. > :07:28.breezes developing here. Into Wednesday, high-pressure dominating

:07:29. > :07:33.from the north-east, preventing this weather front from making inroads

:07:34. > :07:36.into much of the country. However, we will begin to see cloud

:07:37. > :07:41.thickening along western coastal areas, especially on Wednesday

:07:42. > :07:45.afternoon, with perhaps some light and patchy rain. Elsewhere, however,

:07:46. > :07:49.it remains dry, we will see plenty of sunshine once again, and in the

:07:50. > :07:53.best of the sunshine temperatures will peak at around 23, if not 24

:07:54. > :08:00.Celsius. That's nice. Our next update is at

:08:01. > :08:03.6:25am tomorrow, but from everyone on the latest team, good

:08:04. > :08:06.This is a dog toy I chew to release tension before a fight.

:08:07. > :08:10.Do what you do, David, before... Imagine it's...
