:01:40. > :01:46.It is the tip of the iceberg, because we only see those

:01:47. > :01:49.lucky enough to escape will be rescued from a situation.

:01:50. > :01:56.There are probably a lot of children we don't

:01:57. > :01:59.know about that are being exploited in different situations.

:05:58. > :05:59.were discovered at other PFI schools in Edinburgh.

:06:00. > :06:06.Repairs done, pupils back in class, Edinburgh Council have now ordered a

:06:07. > :06:12.survey of other city buildings to check whether the problems are more

:06:13. > :06:18.The surveys will focus on building is built around the same

:06:19. > :06:21.time using a similar design model as the ones where problems have been

:06:22. > :06:25.The council are refusing to say exactly which buildings

:06:26. > :06:30.engineers will be looking at, but there are dozens on the list.

:06:31. > :06:34.Described as precautionary, ?500,000 has been set aside for work

:06:35. > :06:39.councillors hope will reveal nothing new.

:06:40. > :06:41.You can't rule it out and that

:06:42. > :06:43.is the reason for the survey, although so far the buildings are

:06:44. > :06:49.Nevertheless, it seems prudent, having discovered

:06:50. > :06:52.problems in the school buildings, to look at others with a similar

:06:53. > :06:57.design, to satisfy ourselves they are completely safe.

:07:07. > :07:09.follow Edinburgh's decision to look beyond the school estate.

:07:10. > :07:13.The incredible thing that Fiona Walker's

:07:14. > :07:15.investigation threw up was the extent, the possible extent

:07:16. > :07:19.of how many failings there are potentially

:07:20. > :07:27.The surveys are expected to take a few months.

:07:28. > :07:28.All the while, an independent enquiry

:07:29. > :07:32.into the school closures continues, with a report due by the end of the

:08:04. > :08:05.Let's get the weather outlook for tonight

:08:06. > :08:18.Thank you very much. Good evening. And unsettled weekend of whether to

:08:19. > :08:22.come. Tonight looks cloudy with further pulses of rain. Heavy and

:08:23. > :08:27.persistent rain across the North West especially and a windy night

:08:28. > :08:32.for all of us with strong, if not deal force southerly winds. Cloudy

:08:33. > :08:35.tomorrow, that rain keeps coming from the north-west. Gradually

:08:36. > :08:38.extending its way that bit further south and east. A Met Office yellow

:08:39. > :08:43.bee aware warning in force in the west throughout most of the day

:08:44. > :08:47.tomorrow due to be persisted and heavy nature of that rain. Some

:08:48. > :08:51.localised flooding possible. Hazardous driving conditions and

:08:52. > :08:57.those winds still strong and some destruction to ferry services

:08:58. > :09:00.likely. We do have some shelter with some drier, brighter conditions

:09:01. > :09:06.across the likes of the borders in towards Edinburgh. North Aberdeen

:09:07. > :09:10.shire and the Moray coast and given any brightness in the sunshine,

:09:11. > :09:15.temperatures will rise to around 19 Celsius here. Very much the

:09:16. > :09:20.exception to the rule, however, most of us cloudy and rainy. A clearance

:09:21. > :09:23.coming into words the Western Isles and sky towards the end of the

:09:24. > :09:29.afternoon. The wind is beginning to ease here too. Across the far North

:09:30. > :09:33.East at the Northern Isles, rather cloudy skies. Any rain we do seek

:09:34. > :09:37.you will be light and the wind will remain strong to gale force. For the

:09:38. > :09:40.rest of the UK tomorrow, that rain continues to track its way to

:09:41. > :09:44.Northern Ireland, eventually reaching the South West of England,

:09:45. > :09:47.possibly Wales. Further south and east of here, with that warm,

:09:48. > :09:52.southerly airflow, temperatures will be well above average for the time

:09:53. > :09:55.of year. And first Saturday evening and night coming eventually that

:09:56. > :09:58.rain clears way to the east and the winds will ease will stop on Sunday,

:09:59. > :09:59.it looks showery. That is the forecast.

:10:00. > :10:02.From everyone on the late team here in Glasgow

:10:03. > :10:04.and around the country, goodnight.
