:00:26. > :00:28.43-year-old Thomas Roberts, died later in hospital.

:00:29. > :00:47.At around 4pm on Christmas Day warning the police were called to

:00:48. > :00:51.the lead of these flats in the Sarasin area of Glasgow. They found

:00:52. > :00:57.a badly injured man identified today as 43-year-old Thomas Roberts. He

:00:58. > :01:01.was taken to hospital from the scene but died shortly afterwards. Police

:01:02. > :01:06.say he suffered a violent and sustained attack and reports say it

:01:07. > :01:12.may have lasted for some time. On Facebook, his daughter said that

:01:13. > :01:17.Heaven had gained another angel. Family and friends are left

:01:18. > :01:22.shattered. A 50-year-old unnamed man was also discovered injured at the

:01:23. > :01:26.scene. He is in a stable condition in hospital and could be a vital

:01:27. > :01:30.witness to what happened. Forensic teams have already combed the area

:01:31. > :01:33.for clues and police say they are following up a positive line of

:01:34. > :01:40.enquiry but want help from witnesses also. Police say they are also

:01:41. > :01:42.enquiry but want help from witnesses conducting enquiries locally

:01:43. > :01:44.house-to-house and they are examining CCTV footage as well to

:01:45. > :01:47.try to find out what happened. The NHS is struggling to cope

:01:48. > :01:49.with increasing demands The doctors union has said health

:01:50. > :01:53.service funding is stagnating despite the "unprecedented

:01:54. > :01:54.challenges" facing it. Queueing just to register for AGP,

:01:55. > :02:04.such other pressures on the NHS. The dockers union says

:02:19. > :02:20.we have one in 15 vacancies, It has a knock-on effect on staff

:02:33. > :02:52.is an ongoing problem Report after report has shown an

:02:53. > :02:55.increasing pressure but the money is virtually static so the health

:02:56. > :02:56.service cannot keep pace with demand.

:02:57. > :03:06.The Health Secretary accepts changes needed.

:05:35. > :05:42.mist and fog it will be quite chilly around five at best. 7-8 are at the

:05:43. > :05:46.numbers we're looking at but when the cloudy with the threat of rain

:05:47. > :05:50.at times. Looking towards Dorothy high-pressure not to far away but

:05:51. > :05:53.you will notice in the north-west the tightening of the isobars and

:05:54. > :05:58.the weather front not far away so windy with rain edging end.
