:00:48. > :00:52.She suffered serious injuries in the fire and is

:00:53. > :00:54.in a critical condition at the Queen Elizabeth

:00:55. > :00:58.His parents needed treatment for the effects of

:00:59. > :01:03.breathing in smoke, but they have been discharged from hospital.

:01:04. > :01:06.Investigators say this attack was targeted and wilful.

:01:07. > :01:12.Police are treating it as a case of murder and attempted murder.

:04:46. > :04:56.We found data for over 70% of the over 500

:04:57. > :05:00.We decided to look at what kind of school it was.

:05:01. > :05:05.And if it was a state school, was it one that served

:05:06. > :05:10.We used free school meal entitlement to measure that.

:05:11. > :05:17.Over 20% when the fee-paying schools.

:05:18. > :05:21.And almost 70% went to one of the best of 20% of state schools.

:05:22. > :05:22.Those two groups represented almost 90% of

:05:23. > :05:26.It looks like elite sport is for elites when

:05:27. > :05:32.it comes to wealth as well as talent.

:05:33. > :05:34.I think anything that comes from public purse should have

:05:35. > :05:37.generally wide public merit good, and I'm not convinced that elite

:05:38. > :05:41.sport does that, I'm not entirely sure that elite sport is something

:05:42. > :05:44.that is accessible to the public in general.

:05:45. > :05:48.whether sport Scotland believed they were doing enough to fulfil all

:05:49. > :05:58.We are working to get, in every sport, a

:05:59. > :06:01.pathway from school, the community, the performance, if they have the

:06:02. > :06:07.Whether that means we are providing equal

:06:08. > :06:13.opportunities to everyone who might be able to win is less clear.
