:00:27. > :00:28.will give her closure, after what she's described

:00:29. > :00:39.This is the image which has come to define Pauline Cafferkey, being

:00:40. > :00:40.medevac to London under strictest quarantine,

:00:41. > :00:49.The relapse and the meningitis it brought was the worst to get over.

:00:50. > :00:52.I was destroyed, my body was destroyed, I could do very

:00:53. > :00:58.of hospital, and then I was on crutches, and it has been

:00:59. > :01:00.a long slow process, and I am still in a

:01:01. > :01:07.Which makes it all the more surprising that she has

:01:08. > :01:09.decided to go back to Sierra Leone next month -

:01:10. > :01:12.not to nurse this time, but to take part in a run

:01:13. > :01:18.I plan to run 10K, I definitely wouldn't be up for the

:01:19. > :01:21.marathon, but I am planning to do 10K for fundraising while I

:01:22. > :01:33.They have identified 1,200 children who are particularly

:01:34. > :01:36.vulnerable, and they were orphans as a result of a Ebola.

:01:37. > :01:41.Helping the orphans that Ebola left behind is a cause very dear to her.

:01:44. > :01:46.He was just distraught, as you would be.

:01:47. > :01:51.And he had lost other members of his family as well.

:01:52. > :02:01.I don't know what happened to him after.

:02:02. > :02:04.Is he someone that you might be able to try and seek out

:02:05. > :02:07.He would be a little bit older now, no?

:02:08. > :02:19.the start of a long battle for Pauline Cafferkey,

:02:20. > :02:21.to get back to health and clear her

:02:22. > :02:26.Accused of allowing a wrong temperature to be recorded for

:02:27. > :02:29.her during screening, the misconduct charge

:02:30. > :02:31.was dismissed after the hearing heard she had been impaired

:02:32. > :02:40.by two nurses she met working in Sierra Leone.

:02:41. > :02:43.Going back is the first step in leaving that image

:02:44. > :02:48.behind her once and for all, as she moves on with her life.

:02:49. > :02:57.I think psychologically, it is important that I go back.

:02:58. > :03:01.I have had a terrible couple of years since then,

:03:02. > :03:05.so it will be good to go back, for things to come full circle for

:03:06. > :03:10.The number of Scots seeking work fell over the winter months

:03:35. > :03:37.seeking work between December and February.

:03:38. > :03:40.But contrary to the wider UK trend, the number of Scots in work

:03:53. > :03:54.show employees' pay inflation over the year

:03:55. > :03:55.running at 2.3%, including bonuses -

:03:56. > :04:12.the same as the most recent figure for rising prices.

:04:13. > :04:13.That means real spending power has stalled.

:04:14. > :04:16.With unemployment so low, recruitment pricey, and growing talk

:04:17. > :04:18.of skills shortages, it is all the more important to retain valued

:04:19. > :04:21.That doesn't include the self-employed.

:04:22. > :04:24.And it's a signal that growth in real spending power has stalled,

:04:25. > :04:26.with potentially big implications for the economy.

:04:27. > :04:28.Meet the millennial boss, dropping into his Glasgow office.

:04:29. > :04:30.His business offers experiences from meals to balloon flights

:04:31. > :04:33.with more than one million members of its online club.

:04:34. > :04:36.We have our hot air balloon and our magical tree, and all of

:04:37. > :04:38.these things are reflected in the business, they all serve purposes.

:04:39. > :04:43.The team sparkles every time a member joins,

:04:44. > :04:45.so typically 600 join every day, so it has a subtle

:04:46. > :04:49.When you are young and growing a business,

:04:50. > :04:52.retention is one of the biggest challenges you face, and we have

:04:53. > :04:55.grown up as a business and understood a bit more about it, so

:04:56. > :04:57.retention is a key priority, so much time

:04:58. > :05:00.is spent tried to find the right people, and maintaining them

:05:01. > :05:08.is what you have to do to grow the company.

:05:09. > :05:10.While players rising no faster than prices, there are other

:05:11. > :05:13.ways to keep workers from rebels - at least where bosses have

:05:14. > :05:22.M ranked high in the place of great places to work.

:05:23. > :05:23.We are doing things right, doing things

:05:24. > :05:26.well, and having things in place that recognise the difference every

:05:27. > :05:28.single one of our employees can make.

:05:29. > :05:37.Selling clothes may not be a way for workers to get rich, but a

:05:38. > :05:40.happy worker can be fulfilled in other ways.

:05:41. > :05:46.They invest in you so much as a person, and my confidence

:05:47. > :05:58.The people are amazing, all management, they are so approachable

:05:59. > :06:01.and great, always wanting to develop you, constantly push you to your

:07:27. > :07:30.It marks a major milestone in the half ?1 million project to

:07:35. > :07:36.coming westbound firstly, and a week later, eastbound.

:07:37. > :07:38.That will mean for the first time mainstream Scotland,

:07:39. > :07:40.the road between Edinburgh and Glasgow, is motorway

:07:41. > :07:44.This is tremendous news on a substantial project.

:07:45. > :07:47.It may be good news, but there have been

:07:48. > :07:53.delays while work has been under way.

:07:54. > :07:55.It has been a long journey for commuters,

:07:56. > :07:58.This section may be opening ahead of schedule, but

:11:05. > :11:24.Lets get the weather forecast now with Kirsteen.

:11:25. > :11:31.Some sunshine and showers have been the order of the day, with plenty of

:11:32. > :11:37.rainbows around, too. Tonight, we continue along the Sharif team,

:11:38. > :11:42.particularly so in the west and north. Clear spells to the east into

:11:43. > :11:47.tomorrow morning. Around 8am we are expecting plenty of sunshine across

:11:48. > :11:52.the likes of the Borders, Fife and the north-east. A much cloudier

:11:53. > :11:55.prospect across much of the west into the Northwest and Northern

:11:56. > :12:00.Isles with plenty of showers continuing. These will continue

:12:01. > :12:04.bright through the day. As we had through the day further east, the

:12:05. > :12:10.case of clouds continuing to increase. Not as windy as it was

:12:11. > :12:16.yesterday and today across the country, although it will still feel

:12:17. > :12:21.fairly chilly underneath the cloud. Across the rest of the UK, we are in

:12:22. > :12:27.the same board. A fair amount of cloud and bits and pieces of cloudy

:12:28. > :12:30.rain at times. The rest of the Thornton tomorrow afternoon will be

:12:31. > :12:35.across the far south-west, temperature wise for most of us at

:12:36. > :12:37.across the far south-west, around ten to 14 Celsius. Looking

:12:38. > :12:40.across the far south-west, ahead to Good Friday, a lot of

:12:41. > :12:45.clouds come with some showers and longer spells of rain. Particularly

:12:46. > :12:50.for western areas. Across Scotland, the best of the sunshine will be in

:12:51. > :12:57.the east. Brisk westerly winds on Friday, so again, really quite a

:12:58. > :13:02.cold feel. Especially in exposure to the wind and showers. Saturday, a

:13:03. > :13:05.fairly benign day of weather. A lot of cloud to come, hence the

:13:06. > :13:10.brightness and fun turnaround at times. Across the west and the north

:13:11. > :13:15.of Scotland, we may well see some wintry showers being pitched in on

:13:16. > :13:18.hold north another westerly winds. Easter Sunday, this weather front is

:13:19. > :13:24.set to make inroads across Northern Ireland and Scotland, producing some

:13:25. > :13:28.rain, drier further sad. That's the weather forecast.

:13:29. > :13:31.Our next update is during Breakfast at 6:25am tomorrow morning.
