:01:46. > :01:49.Chief Constable says tackling all types of hate crime is an absolute

:01:50. > :01:59.priority, but the police acknowledge that under reporting the issue is

:02:00. > :02:02.far worse than the report suggests. It will allow us to provide more

:02:03. > :02:06.support our front line officers and encounter heat crime issues and also

:02:07. > :02:11.demonstrates our commitment to trying to support tolerance in

:02:12. > :02:14.society. The move comes after an independent review said everybody in

:02:15. > :02:15.society had to play a part in eradicating heat crime.

:02:16. > :02:18.Police are investigating an attempted murder

:02:19. > :02:20.in North Ayrshire, which left two men injured,

:02:21. > :02:23.A 30-year-old and a 52-year-old were found seriously hurt
