:00:00. > :00:00.Neil Warnock turns down the chance to manage Nottingham Forest and we

:00:00. > :00:00.will round up some eye`catching results from the Twenty20 in

:00:00. > :00:22.Bangladesh. Hello, welcome to our lookahead at

:00:23. > :00:30.what the papers will be bringing us tomorrow with Alex Barrow and Jennie

:00:31. > :00:34.Bond. We are going to start with the Independent. We have a picture of a

:00:35. > :00:39.grieving relative of one of the passengers from that missing plane.

:00:40. > :00:42.The Guardian also has a graphic image on its front page. It says the

:00:43. > :00:46.families have accused the government of delays and a cover`up over the

:00:47. > :00:53.fate of the aircraft. The Mirror's take is that the missing plane

:00:54. > :00:57.victims are 23,000 feet under the sea. The headline in the Express

:00:58. > :01:01.says, terror aboard doomed flight. Experts reveal nightmare final

:01:02. > :01:08.moment. The Telegraph is speculative because the crash was a suicide

:01:09. > :01:11.mission, their headline is flight MH370 suicide mission. The Times

:01:12. > :01:15.bucks the trend with that story and says it has a crisis on the Ukraine

:01:16. > :01:24.that is the most important. The headline is Vladimir Putin frozen

:01:25. > :01:28.out. The Daily Mail says that the PM will act on death taxes. We are

:01:29. > :01:36.going to start with the news that it is highly likely, beyond reasonable

:01:37. > :01:41.doubt, that this plane, missing for 17 days, crashed into the sea. The

:01:42. > :01:46.front page of the Guardian, a distraught relative of one of those

:01:47. > :01:52.odd ward, showing the emotional today's offence? Graphic images, we

:01:53. > :02:00.have seen them all day. Grief and anger. The Guardian is saying it is

:02:01. > :02:04.the end of hope. I wonder if it is. One of them I have seen quoted as

:02:05. > :02:12.saying, no wreckage, no closure. Until there is proof, beyond the

:02:13. > :02:19.Malaysian government saying it was assumed to have crashed, there will

:02:20. > :02:23.still be that wisp. You want to cling on if you are a relative?

:02:24. > :02:28.Absolutely. The anger is coming through in a strong statement issued

:02:29. > :02:33.to the Malaysian government. They accused the government of

:02:34. > :02:37.continually delaying, hiding and covering the facts, attempting to

:02:38. > :02:42.deceive the whole world. A huge amount of anger amongst those

:02:43. > :02:45.relatives. That is what grief can do to you, isn't it? It's difficult to

:02:46. > :02:49.perhaps take on board what anyone will tell you in relation to the

:02:50. > :02:56.possibility that your loved one has died, unless you literally can see

:02:57. > :02:59.the body in front of you. I think for the loved ones, yes, for the

:03:00. > :03:05.last two weeks they have been clinging to this idea that somehow

:03:06. > :03:09.the jet is parked in a airfield somewhere in a desert in Kazakhstan.

:03:10. > :03:14.We know that is not the case now. The Malaysian authorities, I think

:03:15. > :03:19.some of the criticism has been unfair. It seems to me, I watched

:03:20. > :03:23.the Prime Minister's statement, he was quite measured. They have waited

:03:24. > :03:26.until the point where they can make a definitive judgement about whether

:03:27. > :03:32.it was certain beyond reasonable doubt that this plane had crashed in

:03:33. > :03:38.the Indian Ocean. When there were able to say that, they did it. It

:03:39. > :03:42.was late at night, their time. It is the end of hope, in the sense that

:03:43. > :03:49.the relatives are not coming back. But, of course, now they have this

:03:50. > :03:52.interminable wait to find out what happened. They will come to hope

:03:53. > :03:57.until there is physical evidence. Also, there will be the guilt, they

:03:58. > :04:02.will feel such guilt that they have not been able, themselves, to find

:04:03. > :04:06.their loved one. I would. Maybe there is a desert island that nobody

:04:07. > :04:13.knows about, and he is still sitting there. I'm not sure about that. We

:04:14. > :04:18.are talking about somebody that has gone through an experience that we

:04:19. > :04:21.haven't, so I don't know. That is, of course, what the papers are

:04:22. > :04:23.doing, they are all putting themselves in the minds of the

:04:24. > :04:29.passengers, talking about how they felt. A world of speculation, I'm

:04:30. > :04:32.afraid, still. That's the interesting thing, if we look at the

:04:33. > :04:38.front page of the Independent, another picture of a grieving

:04:39. > :04:43.relative. Beyond hope, families told to accept that flight MH370 crashed

:04:44. > :04:49.into the ocean. There have been delays in getting information out

:04:50. > :04:52.over the last 17 days. It has been the impression that the Malaysians

:04:53. > :04:55.haven't really been on top of the whole situation. That has fed into

:04:56. > :04:58.this disbelief now that, actually, OK, they are saying that they

:04:59. > :05:03.think, beyond reasonable doubt, that the plane did ditch into the sea.

:05:04. > :05:08.But I still need to see the proof, that is where the doubts have come

:05:09. > :05:10.from? We have seen the satellite pictures starting to show some

:05:11. > :05:14.proof. What was interesting about today is that we heard there was

:05:15. > :05:17.going to be an announcement. I think the assumption, to begin with, was

:05:18. > :05:22.that they have now seen another satellite photos of wreckage to draw

:05:23. > :05:28.a conclusion on the basis of that. But it wasn't that at all. The

:05:29. > :05:31.Malaysian Prime Minister based his statement entirely on the data

:05:32. > :05:39.produced by this British satellite communications firm that has been

:05:40. > :05:42.analysing the ping data in a way that has never been done before,

:05:43. > :05:46.that has allowed them, scientifically, to say it is beyond

:05:47. > :05:54.reasonable doubt. Perhaps they could have got this earlier. Some of the

:05:55. > :06:00.relatives were saying if they released the information faster,

:06:01. > :06:05.they could focus the search on the Indian Ocean earlier. If the

:06:06. > :06:09.authorities put out information before they are certain, they get

:06:10. > :06:12.criticised for that as well. I'm not convinced, on what I've read of this

:06:13. > :06:18.story, that all of those criticisms of the Malaysian authorities are

:06:19. > :06:21.well founded. Sure, but, again, we are not one of those relatives that

:06:22. > :06:28.has been waiting 17 days and getting little drips of information. That is

:06:29. > :06:34.their perception of it and who are we to question these suffering

:06:35. > :06:39.families? Onto the front of the Daily Telegraph, of course, they

:06:40. > :06:43.have pinpointed off well, not even pinpointed, they have found an area

:06:44. > :06:49.where they think the plane may have crashed. An area the size of the

:06:50. > :06:54.North Sea, so they still have a long way to go before they can find any

:06:55. > :06:58.wreckage. While there is no wreckage, it is much more difficult

:06:59. > :07:04.to try and work out why the plane actually crashed. As a result, that

:07:05. > :07:09.void is going to be filled with speculation. And the Telegraph

:07:10. > :07:13.reckons it is a suicide mission? Yes, but I don't think it is backed

:07:14. > :07:18.up at all. We have the headline, suicide mission, but reading it I do

:07:19. > :07:22.not see what they are basing it on. They say the team investigating it

:07:23. > :07:26.say that it was flown in a rational way, despite the fact they also say

:07:27. > :07:32.it veered wildly off course. But it veered in a rational way. But they

:07:33. > :07:35.say that nothing is emerging that points to motive, according to an

:07:36. > :07:40.official source. I don't see where we'd did use from that but it was a

:07:41. > :07:45.suicide mission. I suppose it didn't suddenly turn left, you know, it was

:07:46. > :07:50.an arc that target there. So it was done in a controlled manner. Well,

:07:51. > :08:00.they say it veered wildly of course. Well, in the sense that it went that

:08:01. > :08:02.way, but it did not do it in a irrational way. The suggestion is

:08:03. > :08:10.from the latest satellite information that it did not... That

:08:11. > :08:14.it stayed constant at an altitude of 30,000 feet for quite a long time.

:08:15. > :08:21.Which suggests it was on autopilot or being physically controlled. I

:08:22. > :08:24.think that suggests that there was not a sermon catastrophic mechanical

:08:25. > :08:34.malfunction or something like that. I think that is the argument. It is

:08:35. > :08:37.sourced to an official in Malaysia. It is interesting, if you look at

:08:38. > :08:41.the papers today on this story, some of them have done it in a reasonably

:08:42. > :08:56.straightway and others have been Waterloo `` more lurid. As Jenny

:08:57. > :09:01.says Connie get to end and you say, where is this information? We don't

:09:02. > :09:06.know what this sources, is he the chief of aviation or somebody in the

:09:07. > :09:14.office that does the photocopying? We are all talking about what may

:09:15. > :09:18.have happened. One little and new fact I hadn't heard, they say for

:09:19. > :09:25.the first time it was revealed that the co`pilot, this was his first

:09:26. > :09:29.flight on a 777 as an approved pilot, what we can conclude from

:09:30. > :09:33.that, I don't know, apart from that he was relatively inexperienced. The

:09:34. > :09:36.Malaysian authorities have been criticised a great deal. Another

:09:37. > :09:40.insensitive little error in that last night, they said that their

:09:41. > :09:48.prayers went out all of the loved ones of the 226 passengers and of

:09:49. > :09:57.our 13 friends and colleagues. The manifest shows it was different and

:09:58. > :10:03.37. A small point, but careless. `` 237. Terror aboard doomed flight.

:10:04. > :10:07.Experts reveal nightmare final moments. How on earth they would

:10:08. > :10:13.know. Again, supposition. If it looks like you are heading down, it

:10:14. > :10:18.is bound to be... Professionally, I have to admire the headline, a

:10:19. > :10:23.terrific headline, who would not want to read a paper with a headline

:10:24. > :10:25.like that? Almost every word of the story could have been written about

:10:26. > :10:31.a week ago, it is entirely supposition. Telegraph supposition

:10:32. > :10:34.was at least sourced by somebody they have at least spoken to, I'm

:10:35. > :10:41.sure, he presented them an honest belief of what he thinks. This

:10:42. > :10:53.story, as I say, a cracking read, but it is virtually useless. Still,

:10:54. > :10:58.a great headline from the Express. Let's go on to the Telegraph. We are

:10:59. > :11:02.going back to the Telegraph. An interesting story. Cash in your pot

:11:03. > :11:05.and is maybe liable for care. We had the budget last Wednesday, which

:11:06. > :11:08.suggested that now you don't necessarily have to buy an annuity,

:11:09. > :11:12.you can take all of your pension money out at a cost, but a lot less

:11:13. > :11:22.than it used to be and you can do what you like with it? Indeed and

:11:23. > :11:25.pensioners are mostly very happy about that. This has given us a

:11:26. > :11:32.great deal to think about, me being a pensioner myself. Are you spending

:11:33. > :11:37.your money on a Lamborghini? I hope you have one already! It is a BBC

:11:38. > :11:42.pension. You will be buying next to nothing! You do think quite hard

:11:43. > :11:47.about what you are going to do with your resources. One aspect I had not

:11:48. > :11:51.thought about is if you take it all out and need care in your later

:11:52. > :11:55.years, the Government is saying they might take that into account now,

:11:56. > :12:02.and it could push you over their new limit, which is if you have assets

:12:03. > :12:05.over ?118,000 then you cannot get any help with your care. So people

:12:06. > :12:12.are going to have to think very hard. If you do blow it all on a

:12:13. > :12:20.Lamborghini, with the Government takes that into account? I don't

:12:21. > :12:24.think they would requisition a Lamborghini but I don't know what

:12:25. > :12:29.counts as an asset. What is an asset? If it is money sitting in a

:12:30. > :12:33.bank account, which it might be if you cashed in your pension pot and

:12:34. > :12:37.had not bought an annuity, and this came up at the Q that David

:12:38. > :12:43.Cameron was doing with an audience of pensioners, and they were very on

:12:44. > :12:50.the ball. They put it to him, what will happen if we need care? And he

:12:51. > :12:54.rather defensively had to admit that of course that will be a factor. If

:12:55. > :13:00.you have a Lamborghini parked outside your care home, your care

:13:01. > :13:06.will be fine! This is the way I shall go. Briefly, it is there a

:13:07. > :13:10.sense that as you look into the nitty`gritty of this policy, which

:13:11. > :13:15.was applauded by lots of people, and it seems that the Labour Party will

:13:16. > :13:20.back it as well, that these problems will start to pop up in the fine

:13:21. > :13:25.detail? Yes, we will get much more of this. It is a big area and hugely

:13:26. > :13:29.congregated. This was a policy that was announced out of the blue

:13:30. > :13:33.without consultation. The norm is to consult for years and years of

:13:34. > :13:38.changes like this. Another one coming down the track is what it

:13:39. > :13:42.will do for property prices. Some people take their pension pot out

:13:43. > :13:47.instead of buying an annuity, and they might buy a buy to let or home

:13:48. > :13:53.for their kids, which means money flooding into the property market,

:13:54. > :13:57.so are they going to do about that? You will be back in half an hour for

:13:58. > :14:03.another look at the stories behind the headlines. An BBC News at the

:14:04. > :14:07.top of the hour we will have more on the Malaysia Airlines aeroplane now

:14:08. > :14:09.seems to have crashed with everybody on board being lost. Now it is time

:14:10. > :14:24.for Sportsday. Hello and welcome to Sportsday. I'm

:14:25. > :14:26.Katie Gornall. Coming up: Arsenal successfully appeal Marriner's

:14:27. > :14:28.mix`up. Alex Oxlaide`Chamberlain and Keiran Gibbs have both escaped

:14:29. > :14:31.punishment. Neil Warnock turns down the chance

:14:32. > :14:32.to replace Billy Davies at Nottingham
