:00:00. > :00:00.Coming up, the hackers helping to create new forms of music as well as

:00:00. > :00:25.the latest technology news. Hello, welcome to our look at what

:00:26. > :00:28.the papers will bring us tomorrow. Let's have a look at the front

:00:29. > :00:32.pages, we will start with the Financial Times, framing that

:00:33. > :00:37.Barclays is poised to announce it will pull out of parts of its

:00:38. > :00:41.commodity does this. It says an announcement is due later in the

:00:42. > :00:45.week. The Daily Telegraph features the new portrait of the Queen taken

:00:46. > :00:51.by David Daly, released to celebrate her birthday tomorrow. It leads on a

:00:52. > :00:55.letter which 55 public figures have signed, accusing David Cameron of

:00:56. > :00:59.fostering alienation by his insistence that Britain is still a

:01:00. > :01:03.Christian country. A striking picture of the Pope graces the cover

:01:04. > :01:08.of the Guardian, greeting crowds after his Easter Mass. It reports on

:01:09. > :01:12.how the shoot out at a Ukrainian checkpoint is threatening the Geneva

:01:13. > :01:15.peace deal. The Independent highlights a report which it says

:01:16. > :01:20.shows teachers are facing an increasing amount of online abuse by

:01:21. > :01:24.peoples. The Times says the Chancellor may soon find some room

:01:25. > :01:29.for tax cuts, according to latest research on consumer spending. The

:01:30. > :01:33.Daily Mail reports on the rise in skin cancer cases since the 1970s

:01:34. > :01:39.being blamed on more holidays being taken abroad.

:01:40. > :01:43.We will start with the Daily Telegraph, an interesting story that

:01:44. > :01:51.we have just mentioned in the headlines, a system of David Cameron

:01:52. > :01:57.for mentioning his faith. The Labour Party said that the Prime Minister

:01:58. > :02:05.does not do religion, but David Cameron does. Yes. Some people seem

:02:06. > :02:12.to take pleasure at being offended, they enjoy it. These people who are

:02:13. > :02:24.complaining seemed to fall into this category. Last week, in holy week,

:02:25. > :02:27.David Cameron stated his faith at a reception for Christian people. He

:02:28. > :02:32.followed it up with a couple of interviews. He did not take a

:02:33. > :02:37.position that made secular people or people from other faiths unwelcome

:02:38. > :02:42.in Britain, he just said, I am a Christian, this is where I stand.

:02:43. > :02:47.Auditions are often criticised for not saying what they believe, he

:02:48. > :02:51.says he does, and he is criticised. He is accused of alienating other

:02:52. > :02:55.people. When you have a Prime Minister who is nailing his tongue

:02:56. > :03:03.to the church door, it begs the feel a bit nervous. Why? The idea that

:03:04. > :03:09.politics should be free of religion. There is a right place for

:03:10. > :03:19.that, and it is not the House of Commons. Really? We both think so.

:03:20. > :03:24.Most people who have a belief, that affect them political beliefs. I

:03:25. > :03:31.love of the most important movements in history, the civil rights

:03:32. > :03:35.movement in America, this has come from people's faith, you cannot

:03:36. > :03:41.separate food you are from your politics. The letter says, we

:03:42. > :03:47.respect the Prime Minister's right to his religious beliefs, but we

:03:48. > :03:52.object to his mischaracterisation of our country as a Christian country,

:03:53. > :03:58.and the negative consequences from our politics and society that this

:03:59. > :04:07.view engenders. It is strong stuff. Yes, and I think they have a point.

:04:08. > :04:12.We are supported by Christian values, but it is a secular

:04:13. > :04:16.country, we have religious leaders who sit in the House of Lords, but

:04:17. > :04:22.they sit there, not in the House of Commons. They just comment upon the

:04:23. > :04:29.law. You are not uncomfortable with what has been said? I would be

:04:30. > :04:34.unhappy if we had a theocracy, where people of certain views could not

:04:35. > :04:38.have their perspective heralded inside the House of Commons or in

:04:39. > :04:45.the media. We do not have that country. We have Moslem schools,

:04:46. > :04:48.Jewish schools, secular schools, people of all different traditions

:04:49. > :04:55.in the House of Commons and House of Lords. Britain is one of the most

:04:56. > :04:57.tolerant countries in the world. It seems to me that you can have almost

:04:58. > :05:02.any belief you want except Christian. People take a Christian

:05:03. > :05:08.view, you shot down, they would not have shot down a Muslim leader

:05:09. > :05:14.saying this. Or a secular person saying this. It is Christianity that

:05:15. > :05:18.is being forced out of the public square, and I am grateful for the

:05:19. > :05:26.Prime Minister saying, I will not allow that to happen. From number

:05:27. > :05:32.ten, a spokesman said, as the PM set out in his speech, the UK is a

:05:33. > :05:36.Christian country and should not be afraid to say so. He added it was

:05:37. > :05:43.not to say that to have another faith or no faith was somehow wrong.

:05:44. > :05:47.He has said on many occasions he is proud that Britain is home to many

:05:48. > :05:55.faith communities who do so much to make the UK a strong country. Let's

:05:56. > :06:01.move on to stop `` let's move on. Still with the Daily Telegraph,

:06:02. > :06:04.these claims that the Bashar al`Assad regime has carried out a

:06:05. > :06:13.series of chemical weapons attacks using chlorine. The French president

:06:14. > :06:19.has said they have information but not true. There is an ongoing

:06:20. > :06:24.concern, that Bashar al`Assad is using chemical weapons, and despite

:06:25. > :06:28.what Vladimir Putin has said, he asked them to sign the agreement to

:06:29. > :06:34.destroy the chemical weapons stockpile, do not believe this has

:06:35. > :06:45.happened. That is the issue. Will we ever find out? This is another

:06:46. > :06:48.terrible chapter. In a period when we are marking the centenary of the

:06:49. > :06:54.First World War, chemical weapons have an ugly part in our

:06:55. > :06:57.continent's history, but if you are a Syrian person being persecuted by

:06:58. > :07:02.the regime, you do not care whether it is chemical weapons or barrel

:07:03. > :07:06.bombs, very nasty bombs cropped from the air from Russian supplied

:07:07. > :07:11.fighter aircraft, or conventional warfare, Asharq Alawsat is one of

:07:12. > :07:20.the most murderous dictators we have had in our recent history `` Bashar

:07:21. > :07:25.al`Assad. It seems like he is still being able to continue his reign of

:07:26. > :07:30.terror. From the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, a spokesman

:07:31. > :07:36.says, nothing would surprise us, given the regime's history. But the

:07:37. > :07:47.regime signed up to the agreement last year. It was a get out of jail

:07:48. > :07:50.free card. It allowed them `` it allowed the Americans to not be

:07:51. > :07:54.involved and for the Russians to say they have done their diplomatic bit.

:07:55. > :07:59.The Financial Times, the Easter prayers from the Pope, so many

:08:00. > :08:07.millions around the world pay great attention to it, but this links up

:08:08. > :08:43.to Syria and Ukraine. The Pope is the people's Pope,

:08:44. > :08:48.Orthodox country. It came across at the same time as the Archbishop of

:08:49. > :08:55.Canterbury. Have a look at the Guardian, it is a lovely photo,

:08:56. > :09:05.whether or not you are religious. He is a drive`by Pope! He has embraced

:09:06. > :09:08.the era of the self a. He is humble, he is accessible,

:09:09. > :09:17.approachable, everything that a modern leadership the. Such a

:09:18. > :09:22.contrast, one of my images of last year was the man in St Peter's

:09:23. > :09:28.Square with the disease that made him look like the elephant man. He

:09:29. > :09:34.had the chimneys. The Pope hugged him, he kissed him and he kept

:09:35. > :09:40.hugging him. That embrace of people that the world rejects, so much of

:09:41. > :09:50.that, we are attracted to this Pope, and that smile of his is wonderful.

:09:51. > :09:53.The main story is about the Ukrainian shoot out, threatening to

:09:54. > :10:00.bury the Geneva peace deal. It is just getting even more worrying.

:10:01. > :10:07.Every day, there is a new twist to the tale. My concern is how

:10:08. > :10:11.intransigence has just meant that Vladimir Putin is invincible. We can

:10:12. > :10:15.shoot him in the head tomorrow, he can bleed from the lake, he will

:10:16. > :10:21.leave with a plaster around his finger. He is growing in strength

:10:22. > :10:27.each and every week. Because the West is not going enough? The West

:10:28. > :10:32.is not doing anything, and what is NATO for? I have never seen so much

:10:33. > :10:36.military sitting on the sidelines. It goes back to what we were

:10:37. > :10:40.discussing a minute ago, Vladimir Putin looked at the West and he

:10:41. > :10:45.realised that the West was not going to fight. Barack Obama said any use

:10:46. > :10:50.of chemical weapons is a red line. That would be something that would

:10:51. > :10:56.provoke a reaction. The reaction was zero. The West could ever think it

:10:57. > :11:00.could to get out of intervening. It did not want to fight, and Vladimir

:11:01. > :11:07.Putin saw that, it realised the West was weak, and he said, I will take

:11:08. > :11:16.Crimea. Now, his eyes are on eastern Ukraine. The domestic story in the

:11:17. > :11:21.Independent, pupils targeting us, or from a quarter of teachers have been

:11:22. > :11:25.victims of abuse on social media. We have always had a culture of

:11:26. > :11:30.ridiculing teachers, we always remember the teacher that reduced to

:11:31. > :11:34.laugh at. Aristotle was a student of Plato, he laughed at his teacher.

:11:35. > :11:40.But this is taking a more insidious turn. The way that teachers are

:11:41. > :11:47.being targeted, it is on the Internet, and that is not easily

:11:48. > :11:54.raised. It is an ongoing, persistent intimidation of the profession.

:11:55. > :11:57.There needs to be an idea or a contract with an income when you

:11:58. > :12:03.send your child to school, this figure is not acceptable. It is

:12:04. > :12:10.difficult to monitor. I am not condoning it, but it is typical to

:12:11. > :12:15.monitor. Children are often more able to navigate technology and some

:12:16. > :12:19.of these media and teachers or parents. The controls you put in

:12:20. > :12:26.place to stop them writing this or that, they will perhaps move on, if

:12:27. > :12:32.you ban them from Facebook, they will move on. Some of the comments

:12:33. > :12:39.are pretty awful. I want to allow time for the times and there may

:12:40. > :12:44.photo portrait, taken by David Bailey to commemorate the Queen's

:12:45. > :12:51.birthday, which is on Easter Monday. It's a lovely photo. We are talking

:12:52. > :12:56.about the cult of personality, she is our personality, it is fantastic.

:12:57. > :13:03.She is a bit different from Vladimir Putin! We have had the stamps from

:13:04. > :13:06.Finland, those images, people talking about what we put on our

:13:07. > :13:17.stamps, what about this? Why not have this? Definitely. We had a

:13:18. > :13:23.lovely letter last week, they said there was no picture of Kate in the

:13:24. > :13:28.paper today, I hope she is OK! There have been so many pictures of her!

:13:29. > :13:32.Here we have the Queen upstaging William, Kate and George with her

:13:33. > :13:44.beautiful smiling picture, it is great to say. On that note of

:13:45. > :13:50.agreement, we will leave it. Thank you to our guests. Stay here and BBC

:13:51. > :13:54.News, because at 11, we will have the latest on the ferry disaster in

:13:55. > :13:59.South Korea, as transcripts are released of the final transcripts.

:14:00. > :14:03.Coming up now, it is Click.
