:00:14. > :00:16.Hello and welcome to our look ahead to what the the papers

:00:17. > :00:22.With me are Tom Chivers from the Daily Telegraph and theologian

:00:23. > :00:34.Tomorrow's front pages starting with:

:00:35. > :00:37.The Telegraph leads with the Malaysia Airlines plane crash and

:00:38. > :00:38.says the families of the victims fear that pro`Russia rebels may keep

:00:39. > :00:46.The paper also has a picture of Rory McIlroy's win at the Open.

:00:47. > :00:49.The MH17 crash is also the top story in the Guardian.

:00:50. > :00:52.The other story making the front page is Gaza facing its

:00:53. > :01:00.The headline on the Independent is, Putin's oligarchs made to pay for

:01:01. > :01:03.MH17, with the UK and US pressing for tougher sanctions against Hamas.

:01:04. > :01:05.The FT is taking a similar line, saying Western leaders are handing

:01:06. > :01:08.an ultimatum to President Putin over its role in Ukraine.

:01:09. > :01:10.How to boost your Pension is the headline on the Express,

:01:11. > :01:15.new rules which are expected to help millions of people in Britain.

:01:16. > :01:27.We have begun with the plane crash and here it is in the Daily

:01:28. > :01:45.Telegraph. Families are experiencing

:01:46. > :01:51.difficulties getting bodies back. We don't even know where those that

:01:52. > :01:55.have been retrieved. No, we don't. We know almost 200 bodies have been

:01:56. > :02:02.accounted for but still searching for the other 100. I can't even

:02:03. > :02:12.begin to understand what families are going through. The concern here

:02:13. > :02:17.is that the pro`Russian rebels have these bodies and possibly, they are

:02:18. > :02:22.not going to Handanovic easily because they could be powerful

:02:23. > :02:25.bargaining chips. We know that almost 200 have been loaded onto

:02:26. > :02:31.these trains but we don't know where these trends are going to. People

:02:32. > :02:38.have reported we are running out of fuel, so the refrigeration element

:02:39. > :02:41.may not even happen. It sounds very haphazard and undignified. And

:02:42. > :02:51.seeing trains loaded with bodies in eastern Europe... Unfortunate

:02:52. > :02:57.overtones. It is also really hot. There are 100 bodies left lying

:02:58. > :03:03.around and the imagery of it is really unsettling and horrible.

:03:04. > :03:11.These corpses are just left and people's families. There is a basic

:03:12. > :03:15.human need to know your loved ones's remains are being cared for.

:03:16. > :03:26.He want to have closure, you want a burial. They are being looted,

:03:27. > :03:34.apparently. One of the worst possible scenarios. Some of these

:03:35. > :03:38.rebels are reported as being drunk. It is a worst`case scenario. Our

:03:39. > :03:44.hearts go out to anybody who has got a lot done in that situation. The

:03:45. > :03:48.Financial Times is looking at how to put further pressure on Vladimir

:03:49. > :03:57.Putin and whatever leverage Russia may have with these rebels. The new

:03:58. > :04:03.sanctions warning. It doesn't seem there is that much impetus coming

:04:04. > :04:07.from the Kremlin at the moment. There was a piece for our paper,

:04:08. > :04:14.implying that he doesn't think like that. We are saying, we will impose

:04:15. > :04:20.sanctions and it will hurt the Russian economy, but Putin thinks

:04:21. > :04:25.like an empire builder. He won't mind if there is a little bit less

:04:26. > :04:33.money going around if the glory of the Russian state is improved. This

:04:34. > :04:40.piece seemed really convincing to me. It seemed like we are treating

:04:41. > :04:46.him like a rational actor in the economic world and actually, he

:04:47. > :04:52.wants to go and build the Russian Empire in a way most Western leaders

:04:53. > :04:55.don't think. The independent is looking at the economic pressure

:04:56. > :05:00.that might be brought to bear on Russia. We already know that

:05:01. > :05:06.sanctions have been introduced which are beginning to bite and affecting

:05:07. > :05:11.people's Visa applications because of what happened in Crimea, and the

:05:12. > :05:18.suggestion is that will be taken further. That is hopefully one way

:05:19. > :05:31.they could hurt Putin if he won not give under any pressure. `` he will

:05:32. > :05:42.not. Hopefully, travel bans, asset freezes, on his inner circle. This

:05:43. > :05:46.is the bit where Cameron and Merkel, those economies rely on

:05:47. > :05:52.Russian money and Russian fuel. I don't know if London would be like

:05:53. > :05:55.if all of Russia went out of it because half of Mayfair would be

:05:56. > :06:01.empty. Do they have the nerve to go through with it in impose these

:06:02. > :06:06.sanctions? It sounds like Cameron has been tough but there was

:06:07. > :06:10.actually no response from Putin at all reported back, so it is not like

:06:11. > :06:13.much has been tough but there was actually no response from Putin at

:06:14. > :06:18.all reported back, so it is not like much as, V. Let's stay with the

:06:19. > :06:28.Independent. Two Palestinians have fled their homes. This is in Gaza

:06:29. > :06:32.city which has been particularly badly hit. Gaza suffers its

:06:33. > :06:39.deadliest day after he missed massacre is the headline there. We

:06:40. > :06:47.know that 13 soldiers have died as well and it is impossible to compare

:06:48. > :06:51.numbers but there are fatalities. There are the pictures are

:06:52. > :06:55.heartbreaking. It is a difficult situation to comment on because

:06:56. > :07:02.whatever, new mate, people will assume bias in one way or another,

:07:03. > :07:09.but we have had 13 reported deaths of Israeli soldiers. A heartbreaking

:07:10. > :07:20.situation and one that seems to defy any sense of settlement or easy

:07:21. > :07:25.answers. There is that in balance. The reason that is is because Hamas

:07:26. > :07:32.are not as good at killing as they want to be but the trouble is,

:07:33. > :07:37.Israel... The trouble for Israel is they will always lose the PR war. It

:07:38. > :07:45.will always be them with the bulldozers. What ever you think of

:07:46. > :07:49.the two sides, and we were having this conversation before, it is

:07:50. > :07:54.impossible to take a right or wrong because it is also complicated but

:07:55. > :08:03.it will always look worse for Israelis. Let's look at the FT.

:08:04. > :08:10.There is a picture of a Palestinian boy being carried into a hospital.

:08:11. > :08:14.We have heard that the Palestinian President has called for the United

:08:15. > :08:22.Nations Security Council to meet the night. It shows the split within

:08:23. > :08:26.Palestinian politics. The President cannot bring any pressure to bear on

:08:27. > :08:35.Hamas for their part in the conflict. It has been the same for

:08:36. > :08:58.years. The Palestinian authority was struggling for years. They have

:08:59. > :09:03.never been able to bring down the extremism of their politics to bear.

:09:04. > :09:17.Let's move on to the Daily Telegraph. Recovery passes the

:09:18. > :09:21.precrisis peek at last. For some people, a long time getting their

:09:22. > :09:33.and some people will say, they are not feeling the full effects.

:09:34. > :09:39.Exactly. Is this actually accurate? In essence, the recession is over,

:09:40. > :09:44.but until the everyday person feels on the street in their pocket, you

:09:45. > :09:50.can't take these things too seriously. Let's take things like

:09:51. > :09:54.this with a pinch of salt. If you take statistics when they are bad,

:09:55. > :10:08.why shouldn't we take notice of when they are good? That's true. On the

:10:09. > :10:16.front of the FT, news in brief: This whole story is based on statistics

:10:17. > :10:25.but overhear, a concern about statistics. I am always nervous.

:10:26. > :10:30.When the last recession happened, there was a brilliant stat about

:10:31. > :10:37.economists failing to predict the recession, so you have to be careful

:10:38. > :10:41.with these numbers. The Daily Express, light relief in the form of

:10:42. > :10:48.a little boy who has had a birth day. Birthday boy George is king of

:10:49. > :10:54.fashion. He has started a buying frenzy in young mums. In whatever he

:10:55. > :10:59.has on. He will be like his mum. This is so needed. Heart`breaking

:11:00. > :11:03.news reports. And this adds a glimmer of hope and joy in the midst

:11:04. > :11:08.of it all. I think George's smiling face is cute. My wife will kill me

:11:09. > :11:13.for saying this ` basically all baby clothes look the same. I bet the

:11:14. > :11:18.dung res, he has been photographed in for his first photo have sold

:11:19. > :11:25.out. I should imagine. All Kate's has.

:11:26. > :11:31.My My baby is cuter than him. And mine were, too. Of course. Now, we

:11:32. > :11:34.might let Tom have a little snooze. Stay with us on BBC News. Now time

:11:35. > :11:44.for Click. We've got a great show

:11:45. > :11:49.for you this weekend, including...
