:00:00. > :00:29.Hello and welcome to our look ahead to what the the

:00:30. > :00:32.With me are Zamila Bunglawala, a former government policy adviser

:00:33. > :00:35.who is now a fellow at the University of Manchester.

:00:36. > :00:37.And James Rampton, a features writer at the Independent.

:00:38. > :00:49.This is where friendships start! The Telegraph looks ahead to the

:00:50. > :00:52.announcement on fracking and says national parks and other valued

:00:53. > :00:58.parts of the countryside will be protected in an effort to head off

:00:59. > :01:02.and get in the Tory heartlands. The Guardian leads on fracking and says

:01:03. > :01:06.the government will invite firms to bid for onshore oil and gas licences

:01:07. > :01:12.for the first time in six years. The Daily Express claims a burst of two

:01:13. > :01:16.minutes of exercise a week is the easy way to beat ageing. The Daily

:01:17. > :01:20.Mail says that so`called cowboy parking squads roaming the high

:01:21. > :01:25.Street and hitting thousands of drivers with fans. The times says

:01:26. > :01:29.one in nine patients are waiting to see a GP cannot get an appointment.

:01:30. > :01:36.National parks to be saved from fracking, victory for the

:01:37. > :01:40.countryside campaigners. New curbs, yes, but it is not a complete veto,

:01:41. > :01:50.James, on fracking in national parks. Know, and being a cynic, the

:01:51. > :01:54.two words that leaked out, they are "Tory and marginal". `` leapt out.

:01:55. > :02:02.The Tories are frightened by their backbenchers who have been making a

:02:03. > :02:06.lot of noise about this. Sussex, the campaign created a lot of feet and

:02:07. > :02:15.people were arrested and I believe Caroline Lucas the Green MP was

:02:16. > :02:21.arrested. `` created a lot of heat. If they are fracking in the

:02:22. > :02:24.south`east they will be going through a lot of conservative

:02:25. > :02:29.constituencies, something they do not want to do. Somebody suggested

:02:30. > :02:33.doing it up North, which was suggested in the House of Lords, to

:02:34. > :02:36.universal derision. I'm cynical about it. It's great they are saying

:02:37. > :02:45.they are not going to do it in national parks, but they say that

:02:46. > :02:55.they may find masses of oil and gas there. Countryside campaigners have

:02:56. > :02:59.been very concerned about this. The Guardian's take on this, to flip it

:03:00. > :03:03.round the other way and saying that drilling will be allowed in national

:03:04. > :03:07.parks but there are conditions that would have to be met. Because it

:03:08. > :03:14.isn't a complete ban, there is always a chance. Exactly, it is not

:03:15. > :03:17.a manifesto commitment. It is going to be announced that we will not do

:03:18. > :03:22.it unless there is a lot of money to be found, in which case this

:03:23. > :03:26.exception will override everything they have said. It is important to

:03:27. > :03:31.say this but unless it is a manifesto commitment I would be

:03:32. > :03:36.quite cynical about it. We want cheap, secure sources of energy,

:03:37. > :03:44.don't we? Not at any price. So the lights go out? We are still

:03:45. > :03:47.importing a lot. I can it is quite relevant at the moment in the wake

:03:48. > :03:54.of the horrendous crisis unfolding in the Ukraine, Russia provides so

:03:55. > :03:59.much gas to Western Europe. I think it provides 60% of Germany's gas. We

:04:00. > :04:04.almost being held hostage by the Russians and the Germans and French

:04:05. > :04:07.are being accused of being too pusillanimous towards the Russians

:04:08. > :04:13.because they are worried about the taps being turned off. If we become

:04:14. > :04:16.self`sufficient, energy security, then that would be the ideal but

:04:17. > :04:23.there are many hurdles to overcome before then. Pusillanimous! You

:04:24. > :04:30.always raise the bar! Showing off, it's called. Frank Arnold was

:04:31. > :04:38.talking about vainglorious lest the other day. Ukip may win more than 9%

:04:39. > :04:42.of the vote in the general election, the suggestion that it

:04:43. > :04:47.millet and can become Prime Minister. Surely it depends where

:04:48. > :04:53.that 9% is concentrated `` Ed Miliband. Labour are desperate,

:04:54. > :04:58.hoping that Ukip does better, so that Miliband is given the keys. I

:04:59. > :05:01.think that is a disastrous story. There is movement in the marginals,

:05:02. > :05:06.votes are going to swing in a different direction. We don't know

:05:07. > :05:09.if Labour supporters will go in a different direction as well so they

:05:10. > :05:13.are not accounting for the movement. It appears that if Ukip do well, the

:05:14. > :05:21.Conservatives will suffer more than Labour. 50% of the Tory voters went

:05:22. > :05:25.to Ukip and only 70% of Labour. Cynicism again here, if Labour are

:05:26. > :05:32.encouraging people almost tacitly to vote for Ukip, that's very

:05:33. > :05:35.hypocritical because Ukip are diametrically opposed to Labour and

:05:36. > :05:40.certain people like Ed balls are saying that they should be

:05:41. > :05:44.attacking. If some elements so that they shouldn't because they may win

:05:45. > :05:49.some seats, that is extreme cynicism and to me it says that Labour

:05:50. > :05:54.if this is the heart of their if this is the heart of their

:05:55. > :06:03.campaign, it fits in with the bacon sandwich scandal, holding up the

:06:04. > :06:10.front page of the Sun. It sounds defeatist and gimmicky. Ukip has yet

:06:11. > :06:15.to win a seat in our elections. Exactly. Takes a cynic to spot a

:06:16. > :06:19.cynic! The Guardian, cease`fire pledges but no end to the more

:06:20. > :06:27.violence today despite a series of cease`fire announcements which I'm

:06:28. > :06:29.finding it quite difficult to keep track of. We had the extension, then

:06:30. > :06:34.we were going to get another 24 hours, but the ground offensive

:06:35. > :06:39.would continue even if the missiles stopped, and both sides blaming each

:06:40. > :06:43.other. We will have to redefine what cease`fire means because neither

:06:44. > :06:54.side knows how long it's supposed to last for. In this case, it is

:06:55. > :07:01.peaceful because it is Ede, it will be a respite for the people in

:07:02. > :07:07.Palestine. It is a big day in the calendar. Children, women, babies

:07:08. > :07:11.losing their lives, it is hard to see how the cease`fire is going to

:07:12. > :07:16.make any difference. Desperately sad. I agree, reading in the

:07:17. > :07:22.Telegraph that the Pope has waded in. I don't always agree with him

:07:23. > :07:28.but he said "look at the number of children", I think 200 have been

:07:29. > :07:33.killed on the Palestinian side already, 1500 injured. Terrible

:07:34. > :07:37.numbers. President Obama has weighed in as well and said there must be an

:07:38. > :07:42.immediate cease`fire. I agree with both of them. This cannot continue.

:07:43. > :07:54.The Guardian, looking at the photo on the front. Trott winning the

:07:55. > :08:00.gold, Laura Trott, shaking off a kidney infection to win Commonwealth

:08:01. > :08:03.gold. Katie Archibald is on the left for Scotland, taking bronze. The

:08:04. > :08:08.home nations are doing fantastically well. It is fantastic for the women.

:08:09. > :08:12.It is great because it is summer and many people are looking forward to

:08:13. > :08:19.this and enjoying the television, but the weather is great. I am very

:08:20. > :08:25.happy for them. It is known as the friendly games and that has people

:08:26. > :08:29.are sensing the exuberance on the streets of glass though. I was

:08:30. > :08:34.listening to the radio commentary and they were talking to people and

:08:35. > :08:40.everybody was so upbeat and excited `` on the streets of Glasgow.

:08:41. > :08:44.Talking about independence, it is a brilliant advert for Glasgow. It

:08:45. > :08:48.looks amazing, those incredible venues, and the human interest

:08:49. > :08:52.stories. Laura Trott said she has been unhappy because she has been

:08:53. > :09:02.eating porridge which she doesn't like Patsy won gold today `` but she

:09:03. > :09:11.won gold. It is a good story with a happy ending. She had a kidney

:09:12. > :09:17.infection but she won gold. She can the Daily Express, I hope this is

:09:18. > :09:20.true. Two minutes of exercise will help to keep you young. If you are

:09:21. > :09:26.finding it difficult to lose weight, this isn't autobiographical, then

:09:27. > :09:31.you need to do 30 seconds of vigorous exercise a day to get your

:09:32. > :09:36.metabolism going. This would seem to be something different, it is to

:09:37. > :09:44.stop ageing. People cut their blood pressure and improved performance in

:09:45. > :09:47.everyday tasks. Excellent if actually true. James would have to

:09:48. > :09:54.close if we only needed two minutes of exercise `` gymnasiums. If it

:09:55. > :09:58.stopped you ageing, you wouldn't need those creams, beauticians would

:09:59. > :10:03.go out of business. I think there is some truth to the idea that bursts

:10:04. > :10:11.of energy are good for you but normally it is a 20 minute cycle

:10:12. > :10:14.with a lot of other exercise. Two minutes of raising my eyebrows very

:10:15. > :10:20.vigorously at this story, the only exercise I can do when confronted

:10:21. > :10:30.with this story. That is the front page, I find it amazing. Will that

:10:31. > :10:38.give your wrinkles? Oh, no! We love your natural look, James. Thank you

:10:39. > :10:43.very much! The Daily Mail, the menace of the new parking cowboys,

:10:44. > :10:49.drivers find up to ?100 for staying a few minutes outside shops. This

:10:50. > :10:54.seems to be on Friday property and some of the tickets do not have

:10:55. > :10:59.proper legal authority. It says that but when you drill into the story,

:11:00. > :11:07.it says "in some cases without legal authority", a great Daily Mail

:11:08. > :11:12.story. Menace, cowboys, we always terrified of cowboys shooting us and

:11:13. > :11:17.in this case they are calling them bounty hunters as well. It seems to

:11:18. > :11:21.be the upshot of the outlawing of clamping on Private property in

:11:22. > :11:27.2012, so companies are using to is who can fine you up to ?100. It does

:11:28. > :11:32.not seem to be a universal story and I wonder if it falls apart in your

:11:33. > :11:39.hands. Upsetting if you have got a story when you have only over stayed

:11:40. > :11:46.by a few minutes tickets are already expensive. The idea that if you have

:11:47. > :11:52.only gone over a couple of minutes, and also they do not have any legal

:11:53. > :12:01.standing. Great friends already! Matchmaking arrangement here. They

:12:02. > :12:09.will be back at 11:25pm to look at the front pages. Stay with us.

:12:10. > :12:17.Coming up, Click. Hi, just to let you know I am

:12:18. > :12:22.male and I really like watches.
