:00:00. > 3:59:59Captain Cook, describing him as the best man to lead the team into the

:00:00. > :00:14.cricket World Cup. Hello, and welcome to our look

:00:15. > :00:17.ahead to what the the papers With me are broadcaster Penny Smith

:00:18. > :00:31.and journalist Let us just have a quick flick

:00:32. > :00:35.through the front page, this is the Telegraph. The lead is the fact that

:00:36. > :00:39.nearly all of the papers in fact is the recall of Parliament, to vote on

:00:40. > :00:42.the British air strikes in Iraq, it marks the death of the Dowager

:00:43. > :00:47.Duchess of Devonshire, the last of the Mitford sisters. The Metro

:00:48. > :00:51.quotes President Obama, calling IS the network of death. It features

:00:52. > :00:54.the news that the radical cleric Abu Qatada has walked free from prison

:00:55. > :00:58.in Jordan. The Guardian has a picture of a

:00:59. > :01:07.19`year`old boy from Brighton, it is feared he has become the latest

:01:08. > :01:11.British Jihadi to die in Syria. Jason orange quits Take That but

:01:12. > :01:16.they will carry on as a trio and the mail leads with David Cameron's

:01:17. > :01:19.apology to the Queen after saying she purred down the phone to him

:01:20. > :01:25.after Scotland decided to stay in the union.

:01:26. > :01:28.So, as one can imagine, the fast`moving developments at the UN

:01:29. > :01:34.tonight, feature on most of the front`pages. Let us start with the

:01:35. > :01:38.Guardian. The headline Obama tells Islamic State get out of the way

:01:39. > :01:41.while you can. Warnings to Islamic State, but also the message it seems

:01:42. > :01:46.to be coming from President Obama, and this is clearly strategy, is

:01:47. > :01:51.this isn't just America, EU countries it is Arab country,

:01:52. > :01:54.African countries and Muslim countries taking part The question

:01:55. > :01:58.is still whether Islamic State actually is not just cracking its

:01:59. > :02:02.knuckles and saying bring it on, we have more to give, because as, you,

:02:03. > :02:07.guardian and the Telegraph, many of guardian and the Telegraph, many of

:02:08. > :02:11.the papers any way, you look at what they are doing, we have seen what

:02:12. > :02:16.they are doing and they going to carry on with that no matter what.

:02:17. > :02:19.Unless we are going to carpet bomb these areas, you still, you will

:02:20. > :02:23.still have them moving round and finding somewhere else. It seems to

:02:24. > :02:28.be like trying to control jelly, they are leaking out in different

:02:29. > :02:32.directions. If their aim was to goad us into getting involved, to, to go

:02:33. > :02:38.look what we are doing, they have managed to do it. But today, the

:02:39. > :02:42.papers, tomorrow they are reflecting President Obama, who if you heard

:02:43. > :02:48.any of his speech he was brilliant, I thought, as well, and the papers

:02:49. > :02:51.reflecting that. David Cameron sounding very statesman`like in what

:02:52. > :02:58.he was say, she backing up what Obama is saying. What do you think

:02:59. > :03:02.President Obama is... A year ago he was talking to the UN talking about

:03:03. > :03:07.pulling American troops off Afghanistan. I find him impressive.

:03:08. > :03:13.I doesn't matter what he says but the way he delivers it. He has a

:03:14. > :03:17.Ricky. He has done a U`turn on his own policy. David Cameron is blushed

:03:18. > :03:21.over Syria. So that will be awkward with the recall of Parliament on

:03:22. > :03:26.Friday. Although it does look like there will be party, cross`party

:03:27. > :03:33.support for us to issue acres on Iraq. `` air strikes on Iraq. Not

:03:34. > :03:38.Sirryia. He had `` Syria, he has made it clear that is a different

:03:39. > :03:43.question And we have to be asked. Because we have been asked in Iraq.

:03:44. > :03:47.That is another important message that Iraq have invited. That is why

:03:48. > :03:52.he saying this is legal. If we get involved it will be legal because we

:03:53. > :03:58.have been invited. Another story does show how complicated Syria is.

:03:59. > :04:03.It features a picture there of a Jihadi from Brighton, 19`year`old.

:04:04. > :04:11.Died in the air strikes. It hasn't been confirmed. It is being

:04:12. > :04:17.investigated by the Foreign Office. He wasn't fighting with Islamic

:04:18. > :04:22.State militants. He joined three Brighton brothers to fight for an

:04:23. > :04:26.affiliate group of Al`Qaeda has the has fought against the forces of the

:04:27. > :04:30.Syrian President, and Islamic State militant n the country's Civil War,

:04:31. > :04:34.so fought both sides. If you like. Which is why you say it is just

:04:35. > :04:39.incredibly complicated. Because we have heard this before, we have

:04:40. > :04:43.heard, that those on the other side are disparate, they are not all

:04:44. > :04:47.connected and they are fighting among themselves as well.

:04:48. > :04:52.Absolutely. It is total chaos I mean, the days of wars where we had

:04:53. > :04:58.bad guys here and good guys there and they shot at each other, this is

:04:59. > :05:04.complete chaos there are warlords there, criminal gangs there, there

:05:05. > :05:11.is all sorts of different ideologies going on in Syria, that is creating

:05:12. > :05:14.this absolute mess. One wonders if they know whost is fighting who. I

:05:15. > :05:20.don't think they care very much. There will be a lot of little gang

:05:21. > :05:25.mentality being eked out as well. Things they want to get down. The

:05:26. > :05:29.thing that depresses me is everybody else who has this going on round

:05:30. > :05:34.them, the Syrian people, the Iraqi people, who want to get on with

:05:35. > :05:42.their lives, and they are having these, as David Cameron called them,

:05:43. > :05:48.barbaric psychopathic murderers. That is in the Daily Telegraph.

:05:49. > :05:53.Turkey took in another 100,000 people. One of the many headline

:05:54. > :05:58.grabs quotes on the front page of the Daily Telegraph. We must deal

:05:59. > :06:03.with the psychopathic murderer, Britain to join air strikes as

:06:04. > :06:09.Cameron recalls Parliament tomorrow says the Daily Telegraph. And, of

:06:10. > :06:13.course, they are not just talking about how to deal with Islamic State

:06:14. > :06:16.threw through military force, tonight they have been talking to

:06:17. > :06:22.stop lad like that lad from Brighton going out. It's a war on many

:06:23. > :06:28.fronts. We both interviewed a woman who has been trying to get women in

:06:29. > :06:32.Muslim communities to actually, to spot the signs of radicalisation.

:06:33. > :06:36.And try to do something about it before they go over. Yes, that is

:06:37. > :06:43.what we have to do. That is what... I thought we had been doing that

:06:44. > :06:47.since 9/11. They are being called bedroom gee quadies because it is

:06:48. > :06:51.coming through, even wants to blame the immans and they are not doing

:06:52. > :06:55.enough in my view and in Sara's view, she believes they are not

:06:56. > :06:59.doing enough. It is this, you know, the tablets and going through social

:07:00. > :07:05.media that is creating that. What I find interesting, is the headline in

:07:06. > :07:13.the papers and the language coming from David Cameron is the Will to

:07:14. > :07:17.separate Islam from ISIS. They are calling themselves the Islamic

:07:18. > :07:21.State. You are seeing more and more is the rhetoric is calling them

:07:22. > :07:25.psychopathic murderer, we are not giving them the glory they want.

:07:26. > :07:28.They have not Muslims as they they are Monday centres. I think we will

:07:29. > :07:35.see a change with the papers following on in the language. We

:07:36. > :07:39.have started to see it. And look at others who are campaigning, saying

:07:40. > :07:43.not in my name. That is not anything to do with... If Al`Qaeda is turning

:07:44. > :07:50.away from this group that says something. There are other stories,

:07:51. > :07:53.politics closer to home, as you expect, some dissection of Ed

:07:54. > :07:56.Miliband's keynote speech at the Labour Party Conference, the Daily

:07:57. > :08:03.Telegraph reports on how 250,000 people are being caught by Labour's

:08:04. > :08:09.mansion tax plans. Who are they? I want to say ops about his speech. He

:08:10. > :08:12.is trying to blag it. He said oops! The trouble is the speech was

:08:13. > :08:20.available, wasn't it so you could read what he was going to say. He

:08:21. > :08:24.didn't read out two rather sillient bits that was about immigration and

:08:25. > :08:31.finance. Really important. It is interesting with the... Post`It

:08:32. > :08:38.notes come in handy for off`the`cuff speech. To not mention the deficit

:08:39. > :08:42.and as a whole, and to go down mentioning almost nitty gritties

:08:43. > :08:47.with this mansion tax, originally the Liberal Democrat concept, and he

:08:48. > :08:51.is saying anybody caught in a house worth ?2 million, although who is

:08:52. > :08:54.going to decide what it is worth we are not sure but the householder has

:08:55. > :08:59.to pay to have their property valued. If it is over 2 million poup

:09:00. > :09:04.you could be stuck with a tax bill of 12 grand a year. Some were

:09:05. > :09:07.talking about 15 grand and there is is a huge backlog of people

:09:08. > :09:12.evaluating homes in the first place and then of course you go to

:09:13. > :09:16.arbitration if it was, and if you said, if they said it is 2 million

:09:17. > :09:23.you would go I think it is worth 1.9. You do think surely there are

:09:24. > :09:27.easier ways of getting this. I have to say this will not affect me at my

:09:28. > :09:31.point, but it will affect more people, and pee think this is going

:09:32. > :09:35.to be rich people. This could easily be an old cup who bought their house

:09:36. > :09:40.at the bottom of the market in the '60s who are stuck with a house that

:09:41. > :09:44.is worth 2 million. A lot of people are going boo`ho they can sell it.

:09:45. > :09:48.It might be a family home and it costs money to move. It is not the

:09:49. > :09:52.politics of fairness, it is more the politics of envy. What I would like

:09:53. > :09:56.to see anybody be brave enough to say is let's go after the

:09:57. > :10:00.corporations that are not paying the tax they should be paying in this

:10:01. > :10:10.country and they can leave people like this alone.

:10:11. > :10:23.On the front page of the Daily Mail, forgive me, an apology after

:10:24. > :10:31.boasting that the Queen purred down the phone at him. That is very

:10:32. > :10:34.naughty with the Queen, isn't it? She doesn't even have a cat! It is

:10:35. > :10:48.not very dignified is it? We are going back to the telegraph

:10:49. > :10:56.because as always, a really good mix of stories on the front page. Going

:10:57. > :11:03.up a skirt size could increase breast cancer. Women who go up a

:11:04. > :11:08.size in each decade between their 20s and 60s are more likely to

:11:09. > :11:16.menopause. It is all to do with the menopause. It is all to do with the

:11:17. > :11:25.levels of oestrogen. The point is, we all know that many cancers... The

:11:26. > :11:29.risk factor is if you have put on weight. We all know how to stay

:11:30. > :11:33.healthy, eat healthily and all the rest of it. The trouble with dress

:11:34. > :11:41.sizes is that I know that my dress size can go up and down depending on

:11:42. > :11:48.where I am shopping. And of course I am going to go to the shop where the

:11:49. > :12:01.size is less. They are not great are they? I am a large in an Italian

:12:02. > :12:05.shirt. Of course there is a serious element of this but nevertheless,

:12:06. > :12:11.dress sizes, we know we should try to keep our weight down. Many thanks

:12:12. > :12:17.for taking us through the papers. You are both back at 11:30pm. Do

:12:18. > :12:22.join us then and stay with us. The latest reaction to the Prime

:12:23. > :12:30.Minister's decision to recall Parliament to discuss what role the

:12:31. > :12:34.UK should play in air strikes. Sports day coming up next.
