:02:17. > :02:23.problem is that it is damaging our rail industry, a great industry
:02:24. > :02:30.invented in this country and exported all around the world, we

:03:23. > :03:25.they're going to cut their sugar levels but if you cut your sugar,
:03:26. > :03:29.you usually replace it with something which is not usually any

:03:35. > :03:40.large amount of sugar in these products, even if you cut the
:03:41. > :03:44.sugar. Perhaps a better ideas to encourage children to drink water
:03:45. > :03:54.and healthier juices and perhaps eat a banana rather than having serial

:04:03. > :04:07.obesity strategy which will -- has a childhood obesity strategy which
:04:08. > :04:10.will be published this quarter. One major problem is having too much
:04:11. > :04:14.sugar and the government wants to move towards persuading the industry
:04:15. > :04:19.to change its habits. This is what has been suggested is going to
:04:20. > :04:21.happen. The problem is they don't always do that sufficiently and they
:04:22. > :04:27.continue selling a lot of things which are quite unhealthy to

:04:53. > :04:56.see if it will work, they said paying 2p for plastic bags would
:04:57. > :05:04.work but it has. Now moving on to the Times. This review of freedom of
:05:05. > :05:09.information rules which was prompted by claims, which we should all
:05:10. > :05:15.reject quite frankly, that these laws which were introduced by Labour
:05:16. > :05:19.were somehow being misused and causing excess costs. This is all
:05:20. > :05:32.about saying that public services come at the government and so on, it
:05:33. > :05:42.is saying that private contract -- contractors should be run publicly.
:05:43. > :05:46.If you can't obtain information about them, obviously that is a
:05:47. > :05:54.great problem. Prisons is one of the main ones, it is a private
:05:55. > :05:58.contractor running a public area. But how likely is it that it won't
:05:59. > :06:02.just be expanded? This is calling for the government to go even
:06:03. > :06:06.further. The fear is that things are going to be curtailed and there may
:06:07. > :06:13.even be a charge imposed for making a request, that is one of the fears
:06:14. > :06:19.campaigners have. I think it is unlikely but as Martin says, it will
:06:20. > :06:21.be welcome. I think it might happen because it might allow the
:06:22. > :06:25.government to do some of the things you are talking about, restricted on

:06:33. > :06:36.Financial Times, Google and the ?130 deal for back taxes. They say they
:06:37. > :06:40.have not done anything wrong but I think most people will be pleased to
:06:41. > :06:45.read this story although they might say, should the big companies be
:06:46. > :06:49.doing even more? This is the news that Google has reached a settlement
:06:50. > :06:53.with the UK to pay ?130 million in back taxes and higher taxes in the
:06:54. > :07:00.future. Is at the start of a crackdown? There was a lot in front
:07:01. > :07:04.of the accounts committee but if they haven't done anything wrong,
:07:05. > :07:11.why do they owe back taxes? There is a moral case, isn't there? It may be

:07:28. > :07:30.should be paying tax here. I don't know whether it is after whether it
:07:31. > :07:39.is simply the idea that they feel, perhaps with the new regime, that
:07:40. > :07:43.they should make a PR gesture. Guardian, risky drinking fuels
:07:44. > :07:51.alcohol industry sales. This is quite a startling headline, how much
:07:52. > :07:54.problem drinkers boost the coffers. They have been accused of
:07:55. > :07:59.irresponsible marketing, and there is a claim that they make most of
:08:00. > :08:03.their money from people who have problems with rink. These statistics
:08:04. > :08:07.are English only but there is a similar problem in Scotland. The
:08:08. > :08:11.SNP, Nicola Sturgeon is trying to bring in minimum unit pricing,
:08:12. > :08:15.they're trying to take it north of the border. It is not surprising
:08:16. > :08:21.that the people who drink most of the alcohol are buying the most. On
:08:22. > :08:25.the other hand, it is exactly parallel with the sugar tax story.
:08:26. > :08:30.There is the same issue of big companies selling lots of products,
:08:31. > :08:34.it is in their interest to do that, but if those products are unhealthy,
:08:35. > :08:36.are they doing enough to exercise responsibility and trying to
:08:37. > :08:40.directed away from the people who are going to suffer the most? The
:08:41. > :08:44.allegation here in this story is that they are not and that the
:08:45. > :08:46.marketing is done in a way that Willie Cridge people who have
:08:47. > :08:49.problems with rink to keep doing it. There is done in a way that Willy
:08:50. > :08:52.Cridge people who have problems with rink to keep doing it. There's a
:08:53. > :08:56.drink responsibly label on everything -- will encourage people
:08:57. > :09:03.who have problems with drink to keep doing it. That's true. But they are
:09:04. > :09:11.selling cute bottles at insanely low prices. It still goes on. Up
:09:12. > :09:19.promotions. That is part of the problem -- cheap promotions. Staying
:09:20. > :09:29.with the Guardian, a picture of Charlotte rambling who has got
:09:30. > :09:37.herself embroiled in this diverse city row -- Rampling. Racist to
:09:38. > :09:45.whites, she says. She has stepped into a bit of a problem here. She
:09:46. > :09:50.has. She stated it very strongly, she seems to be getting a lot of
:09:51. > :09:54.criticism. Obviously no one wants to think that they have won and award
:09:55. > :09:59.because of the colour of their skin but I do think if you look at the
:10:00. > :10:08.statistics in the article, analysis by the LA Times found that 93% of
:10:09. > :10:14.the members of the Academy were white and 96% male with an average
:10:15. > :10:22.age of 63. It is not level playing field. She has been very brave to
:10:23. > :10:32.say this. She shouldn't be denounced for giving an honest answer. What
:10:33. > :10:38.she is really saying is, why classify people? These days people
:10:39. > :10:44.are more or less accepted, obviously you can argue that, but she is
:10:45. > :10:48.saying people should be taken as the person. Isn't the point that if you
:10:49. > :10:52.look at the makeup of the Academy, the people who make the decisions
:10:53. > :11:02.are not representative of American society? On Twitter there has been
:11:03. > :11:08.chatter about these statistics and the data is very readily available,
:11:09. > :11:11.but when user has said that even compared with black actors and
:11:12. > :11:20.actresses, Asian people and Latinas have even more to complain about --
:11:21. > :11:25.Latinos. The people nominated for the ward should be the best people,
:11:26. > :11:30.it would be good if that reflected a broad spectrum of society. That is
:11:31. > :11:33.what you want to go towards. It won't always be an exact
:11:34. > :11:37.representation, nor should it be. I think that is really what she is
:11:38. > :11:43.trying to say. Unfortunately, on this occasion and historically,

:12:26. > :12:30.leaving it later to start a family and this is usually one of the only
:12:31. > :12:34.ways. It might not stop you trying anyway, but you would have a more
:12:35. > :12:40.realistic knowledge of what your odds were, which would perhaps make
:12:41. > :12:44.it easier. Although I am sure if really wanted to try and still
