:00:00. > :00:00.Tuilagi's return to the training squad. And Gus Hideo has revealed
:00:00. > :00:08.the secret behind Louis van Gaal's theatrical dive at the weekend --
:00:09. > :00:15.Guus Hiddink. Hello and welcome to our look ahead
:00:16. > :00:19.to what the papers will be With me are Evening Standard
:00:20. > :00:21.columnist Rosamund Urwin and Daily Record Political Editor,
:00:22. > :00:35.Torcuil Crichton. We will get straight to it. Calais,
:00:36. > :00:39.the War of the jungle. We know the authorities were trying to clear
:00:40. > :00:43.part of that area where a lot of migrants and refugees have been
:00:44. > :00:47.living for several years and it has turned into violence. Yes, an
:00:48. > :00:57.amazing image on the front there, very powerful. The estimate is homes
:00:58. > :01:04.of up to 200 people out of 300 -- 3500 have been demolished. There are
:01:05. > :01:07.children there. What will this achieve? You imagine this will
:01:08. > :01:16.either disperse people to other parts of Calais or two -- to the
:01:17. > :01:20.other refugee encampment near Dunkirk. I'm not sure what they
:01:21. > :01:24.believe this will achieve. But obviously they felt they have to
:01:25. > :01:30.take action of some kind and it seems incredibly brutal to me. Is
:01:31. > :01:35.this the French wanting to be seen to be doing something, when in fact
:01:36. > :01:41.this is only going to, like a toothpaste tube, shift the issue
:01:42. > :01:48.elsewhere? This is a symptom. The reason the picture is used,
:01:49. > :01:52.Macedonia as well with 20,000 people trying to cross, the reason it has
:01:53. > :01:58.used this, it is really the disintegration of Europe, of the
:01:59. > :02:05.Schengen agreement which means we'll get a Harrier within a barrier in
:02:06. > :02:11.Europe. -- a barrier within a barrier. We'll fear North South
:02:12. > :02:17.split, and east west split and Brexit as well. How much can Europe
:02:18. > :02:29.take the summer? There is a meeting of the Council of Europe next week.
:02:30. > :02:34.There will be an attempt to hold back the tide which cannot be held
:02:35. > :02:41.back. No one country cannot solve this problem. France cannot solve
:02:42. > :02:45.the jungle, Greece and Macedonia cannot solve the problems. Only the
:02:46. > :02:49.whole of Europe can do it and this crisis is happening when Europe is
:02:50. > :03:00.under the most strain it has ever been. That takes us neatly to the
:03:01. > :03:05.front page of the Guardian. Apparently, Boris Brexit, Boris
:03:06. > :03:10.Johnson dismisses the Prime Minister's case as baloney. This
:03:11. > :03:15.comes after Number Ten per tout that it might take up to ten years to
:03:16. > :03:20.sort out all kinds of trading arrangements with the 27 trading
:03:21. > :03:25.nations of the EU. This has been described as project fear and Mr
:03:26. > :03:28.Johnson thinks it is baloney. It does seem that the remaining
:03:29. > :03:35.campaign has battled to put across something positive about Europe.
:03:36. > :03:41.What it does seem is, they are saying the EU is deeply flawed, but
:03:42. > :03:46.it is the lesser of two evils here. That is not exactly a campaign that
:03:47. > :03:55.gets people behind you. Is it deeply flawed? He has just done a new deal
:03:56. > :04:00.so it is fabulous? Hardly! It is a very difficult battle for Cameron
:04:01. > :04:06.when he has a very Eurosceptic party. Project fear, a term coined
:04:07. > :04:11.during the Scottish referendum when the SNP presented what they called a
:04:12. > :04:20.positive case for independence. It did not work. The Tories saw that
:04:21. > :04:22.Project fear did work in the Scottish referendum, it scared
:04:23. > :04:27.people with the unknown. They did the same in the May 2015 election
:04:28. > :04:32.when they scared people with the idea of a minority Labour government
:04:33. > :04:37.propped up by the SNP and now they are the brains behind the remain
:04:38. > :04:43.camped and they say that fear of the unknown will win again. I painted a
:04:44. > :04:48.picture couple of minutes ago of the European Union in the deepest crisis
:04:49. > :04:52.it has ever faced and all we get is the psychodrama of the Tory family.
:04:53. > :04:58.This is Boris saying Cameron is talking baloney. Boris and baloney
:04:59. > :05:03.are two words which I think go beautifully together! But Rosamond,
:05:04. > :05:11.Boris said he was not going to be the front and centre of the leave
:05:12. > :05:18.campaign. But he is not capable of not being the front and centre, is
:05:19. > :05:25.he? It is not in his nature. Here's a news magnet. The drama... And even
:05:26. > :05:32.the Johnson family. We have had all of them come out in various camps.
:05:33. > :05:38.All of them! It always ends up being about Boris in the end. Project fear
:05:39. > :05:41.and project good news balancing the two. Now we will go to the
:05:42. > :05:48.Telegraph. Cull of the Tory grassroots. What is this about? This
:05:49. > :05:53.is looking at the Conservative associations and it is a proposal
:05:54. > :05:58.that was the 90% of them axed and they would build super associations
:05:59. > :06:03.in their place. The defence of this is it professionalise is them. It
:06:04. > :06:10.reduces the power of Association chairman and makes them able to run
:06:11. > :06:17.more targeted campaigns tackling Labour. But critics think this is a
:06:18. > :06:22.bid to reduce their power to decide the next Tory leader. Because they
:06:23. > :06:27.are very Eurosceptic, the idea being that whichever way the vote goes,
:06:28. > :06:32.particularly if it goes remain, they want to weaken their power in order
:06:33. > :06:38.the next Tory leader is not hugely Eurosceptic, possibly Boris. That is
:06:39. > :06:44.the text of the story, the subtext is the flip side of Project fear,
:06:45. > :06:50.this is the leave camp's version of fear. They say they will lose power
:06:51. > :06:55.to a professionally spin doctored controlled Tory party if Cameron
:06:56. > :07:04.gets his way. This is the outcome telling Tories don't trust Cameron
:07:05. > :07:09.because he will do away with you. The other issues are mostly to do
:07:10. > :07:17.the Tory party, they are to do with Cameron and ministers being denied
:07:18. > :07:23.issues on Europe. There is a warning it will take ten years to
:07:24. > :07:27.disentangle ourselves from Brussels and an emergency debate in the
:07:28. > :07:31.Commons where Tory MPs expressed their concerns. Pretty Patel, one of
:07:32. > :07:39.the cabinet ministers said it was possibly unconstitutional --
:07:40. > :07:46.critique to tell. The Matt cartoon is good. He is always good. Nicola
:07:47. > :07:52.Sturgeon is very worried about our scaremongering about being in the
:07:53. > :07:58.EU. The slightly ludicrous situation she is in is she's hugely into one
:07:59. > :08:03.union that has made her political career out of opposing a smaller
:08:04. > :08:06.one. Nicola Sturgeon was in London today warning Cameron not to be
:08:07. > :08:11.negative. It struck me there that that was quite interesting because
:08:12. > :08:17.she, of all the politicians of Western Europe, has probably
:08:18. > :08:20.benefited most from this global wave of anti-politics. She is
:08:21. > :08:25.antiestablishment, anti-British government and here she is trying to
:08:26. > :08:31.put a lid on that and saying Scots and the rest of Britain should vote
:08:32. > :08:37.to stay. She treads a fine line. A tricky one for her. We will skip
:08:38. > :08:46.over Amazon on the Financial Times and go to the Telegraph. This is the
:08:47. > :08:52.NHS dabbling in urban planning and coming up with a way to make our
:08:53. > :09:00.towns healthier. The Telegraph has put it as new streets will be built
:09:01. > :09:05.like theme parks doing heritage children to venture outdoors. It is
:09:06. > :09:10.also about helping those with dementia by redesigning roads so it
:09:11. > :09:15.is easier to navigate. It is basically about putting health into
:09:16. > :09:17.urban planning and social planning. These new towns will be dementia
:09:18. > :09:23.friendly which means all the staff in the shops will know how to look
:09:24. > :09:28.out for and care for people with an illness. You will use Skype to
:09:29. > :09:32.contact your doctor, the nurse will come out to you instead of going to
:09:33. > :09:36.hospital. These will be changes we will see in our lifetime. It is
:09:37. > :09:45.about feeding it into the planning system. You think the public will go
:09:46. > :09:52.for that? No! It proposes that around schools will be fast food
:09:53. > :09:56.zones. Kids will dig a tunnel to a fast food store. Makes me think of
:09:57. > :10:00.those women putting the chips through when Jamie Oliver brought in
:10:01. > :10:06.healthy food. There will be great escapes from school playgrounds into
:10:07. > :10:13.fast food stores. They will go over the wall to get to a burger bar! You
:10:14. > :10:16.will be back in our's time. Many thanks. Much more coming up but now
:10:17. > :10:37.it is time for Sportsday. Hello and welcome to Sportsday. I am
