:00:12. > :00:21.I'm Babita Sharma with BBC World News.

:00:22. > :00:31.A mass shooting at a nightclub in Orlando, Florida claims the lives

:00:32. > :00:39.It's the worst attack of its kind in US history.

:00:40. > :00:56.A further 53 people are in hospital. We must spare not effort to find if

:00:57. > :01:03.this was connected to terrorist groups. It is clear he was a person

:01:04. > :01:13.field with hatred. UEFA wants our teams could be band from the

:01:14. > :01:29.competition if violence continues. Thousands of people attend the

:01:30. > :01:38.Queen's Birthday celebrations. Welcome to look ahead at what the

:01:39. > :01:46.papers will be bringing us tomorrow. Nice to have you here. In the

:01:47. > :01:54.Guardian, it leads with the mass shooting in Florida. It says the

:01:55. > :02:02.gunmen swore allegiance to Islamic State. Islamic State claimed

:02:03. > :02:16.responsibility and says it is waging war on western gaze. The sun calls

:02:17. > :02:24.it America's Bataclan. The mail reports on fury over leaked

:02:25. > :02:36.proposals from a diplomat to allow Turkish people free visit to the UK.

:02:37. > :02:44.And the violence in the football. We begin with the shooting at the Pulse

:02:45. > :02:51.nightclub in Orlando. The Guardian says at least 50 dead, and the

:02:52. > :02:59.killer is identified as US citizen with alleged terror links. The scale

:03:00. > :03:05.makes it the biggest may shooting in American history and it feels like

:03:06. > :03:10.we have seen some horrific stories like this already. Gary Younge

:03:11. > :03:19.hasn't written below that this focuses on so many faultlines in

:03:20. > :03:28.America- homophobia, Islam, gun control. We can agree that someone

:03:29. > :03:33.who is homicide only inclined, in cable to go into a shop and buy an

:03:34. > :03:39.assault rifle will make it easier for things to happen and that seems

:03:40. > :03:50.that is what has happened and it is so legal. Marco Rubio, the former

:03:51. > :03:56.presidential candidate, we had him talking and he says this is

:03:57. > :04:01.irrelevant. He said, look at what happened in Europe in Paris and

:04:02. > :04:10.Belgium. Where it is more difficult to get guns. But they still managed

:04:11. > :04:17.it. My memory of the attack in France... And the guns would have

:04:18. > :04:23.been bought illegally... His point was they still hold of them. Yes, as

:04:24. > :04:33.you say, it is much, much harder to get hold of guns legally or

:04:34. > :04:36.illegally. The fact that it is easier to get them has made it so

:04:37. > :04:43.much easier for this terrible event to happen. The story speaks for

:04:44. > :04:49.itself. A dramatic picture, it is an appalling tragedy but this time, the

:04:50. > :04:54.front pages have made a judgement, by and large, that the man has

:04:55. > :05:01.claimed allegiance to Islamic State and not that it was a gay club and

:05:02. > :05:10.apparently motivated to carry out homophobic hate crime. It makes it

:05:11. > :05:17.interesting. It does refer to a gay club in the mirror... It is one of

:05:18. > :05:23.the few. They have been some commentators are saying, where is

:05:24. > :05:30.the emphasis on the fact that this was a hate crime. It was very

:05:31. > :05:37.quickly labelled a terror attack. I think it is a problematic. In a way

:05:38. > :05:43.it reduces the impact on a particular community. We are all

:05:44. > :05:49.victims, all survivors- that is great- but, actually, this

:05:50. > :05:58.government did not for a number of other clubs but he went for a gay

:05:59. > :06:05.club. Some are reporting that he did this the cause he saw two men

:06:06. > :06:15.kissing. It is not good to minimise the element, this is what he went to

:06:16. > :06:22.do, to shoot gay people. The sun says this is America's Bataclan. The

:06:23. > :06:35.worst terror attack in the US since 9/11. The comparison is with the

:06:36. > :06:44.shootings in Paris. I suppose... It is the same judgement. The news

:06:45. > :06:50.angle they are looking back to the Bataclan which was carried out by

:06:51. > :06:56.people with clear Islamist links who had been trained in Syria where is

:06:57. > :07:03.if you look at the New York Times, although this guy has claimed

:07:04. > :07:10.allegiance to ISIS, there is no apparent connection with it. In

:07:11. > :07:14.California, the same thing happened. Two people claimed allegiance but

:07:15. > :07:20.investigators found no evidence they had been in contact with the group.

:07:21. > :07:24.No evidence Islamic State knew this in advance even though they have

:07:25. > :07:31.claimed him as one of their fighters. It is a tremendous

:07:32. > :07:36.propaganda. They make people feel as though nowhere is safe and that is

:07:37. > :07:42.exactly what you want if you are a terror organisation. The more people

:07:43. > :07:50.you can claim, in the more different contexts, the happier you will be.

:07:51. > :07:57.Another story, in the Daily Mail. 1.5 million Turks to be let into

:07:58. > :08:00.Britain. This was in the papers this time last night for this morning

:08:01. > :08:08.saying that plans had been drawn up that nobody was willing to talk

:08:09. > :08:15.about until after June 23, whereby large number of Turkish people would

:08:16. > :08:21.be allowed to visit Britain without visas. It is very rare that you

:08:22. > :08:27.would see on paper basically take the splash story from another paper

:08:28. > :08:36.and simply reproduce it which is effectively what the mail has done

:08:37. > :08:42.here. With no mention at all in the front page... It thinks this story

:08:43. > :08:49.has the ability to influence voters in the referendum next week. Is

:08:50. > :08:57.there a plot to let 1.5 million in? Well, no, if an officer made the

:08:58. > :09:09.suggestion, there is no evidence that has been taken up. We have no

:09:10. > :09:16.idea where the number has come from. Really, everybody with a special

:09:17. > :09:22.passport is not about to come to Britain and they are talking about

:09:23. > :09:30.travelling not living in Britain. Before it was our proposal and now

:09:31. > :09:36.it is a plan... Plot. Not a word you would normally use. Unless it is

:09:37. > :09:45.gardening. They seem to have toughened up a bit. I suppose, it is

:09:46. > :09:52.understandable that, whatever it is, a plot, a plan, our proposal... I am

:09:53. > :10:00.impressed you pushed through. Those that are in favour of leaving the

:10:01. > :10:05.EU, what on earth else is going on behind the scenes we have known

:10:06. > :10:10.about and will not here until after the vote. Let's assume... The Sunday

:10:11. > :10:18.Times have a figure of 1 million... Let's assume 1.5 million people will

:10:19. > :10:23.work for some kind of public service institution in Turkey and then let's

:10:24. > :10:28.assume none are required to teach, police, be civil servants, collect

:10:29. > :10:33.bins and other things, and they will all come on holiday in the same

:10:34. > :10:40.week... I imagine that would be unlikely I happy to be corrected...

:10:41. > :10:49.When the schools are empty, the hospitals are empty. I being

:10:50. > :10:59.slightly facetious... Yes, please do not write in. In the Times, Jeremy

:11:00. > :11:07.Corbyn - suggestions that Labour voters are more inclined to vote

:11:08. > :11:14.Brexit than Labour would like. There is some catching up to do. The idea

:11:15. > :11:19.is that Jeremy Corbyn's supporters tend to be young and young people

:11:20. > :11:27.tend to also be in favour of remaining. If you send Jeremy Corbyn

:11:28. > :11:33.out to galvanise his support base then perhaps they will increase then

:11:34. > :11:38.us. Jeremy Corbyn was criticised by not being vocal enough but he has

:11:39. > :11:42.been out and about. A lot of big Labour names have been knocking on

:11:43. > :11:48.doors, and doing it the old-fashioned way, to get the

:11:49. > :11:55.message out. It is teasing a little bit. They do not tell us exactly

:11:56. > :11:57.what they mean. He has been appearing on platforms, not

:11:58. > :12:07.regularly enough for some people would like and not with the passion

:12:08. > :12:13.some people would like to seek but it is a passion for staying in the

:12:14. > :12:20.EU is 7.5 out of ten. David Cameron is going to step back tomorrow...

:12:21. > :12:30.Sorry, today, so there is some evidence that Cameron himself fears

:12:31. > :12:37.he is crowding out that people can reached Labour voters. Interesting

:12:38. > :12:47.alliances created. Only the daily Star, England faces axe from Euro

:12:48. > :12:51.2016. It looked as though the Russian fans had charged at the

:12:52. > :12:57.England and France but outside the stadium, it seemed to be bought off

:12:58. > :13:07.a joint enterprise, shall we say. Whatever violence outside the

:13:08. > :13:13.stadium, whether it is the fault of the English, the police, the

:13:14. > :13:20.Russians, that to gassing of people, in the stadium it was not disputed-

:13:21. > :13:26.it was the Russian fans attacking the English fans so it is not clear

:13:27. > :13:31.why it only should face the axe. Unless there is some violence by

:13:32. > :13:39.English fans in the stadium, and UEFA says they may be responsible,

:13:40. > :13:45.it cannot be a reality that England gets axed. Unless knocked out in a

:13:46. > :13:50.traditional fashion. I imagine it would have been enormously

:13:51. > :13:57.dispiriting if you had tickets hoping to see some football rather

:13:58. > :14:04.than get to gas or something heavy and alarming. It seems ridiculous

:14:05. > :14:14.that a week and a half ago the strikes were the things to bring

:14:15. > :14:21.trouble to the euro, then the flooding but now it is the violence.

:14:22. > :14:31.England Wales on Thursday. Whatever rivalry you have with the English, I

:14:32. > :14:39.would be very surprised if the -- there is any violence between the

:14:40. > :14:50.fans. Heavyset ait Mima out saying, lads, come on... The Welsh were not

:14:51. > :15:06.shunting the sort of things that some others do. -- chanting. Could

:15:07. > :15:17.you qualify your statement. I hope the Welsh fans are well behaved now

:15:18. > :15:34.LAUGHTER A picture of the Queen, in Bush, not limegreen... I like the

:15:35. > :15:38.way that rhyme. -- she did not have a minute to lose because they were

:15:39. > :15:46.in 11 minutes late... On my reading the wrong story? She was late to the

:15:47. > :15:54.cathedral so she did not want to keep 10,000 workers waiting a minute

:15:55. > :16:01.longer than necessary. She made sure the car sped away. You can imagine

:16:02. > :16:11.her doing it. They caught up as well. 11 minutes... That is a

:16:12. > :16:17.reasonable speed. She is like the Roadrunner, the Queen. That is it

:16:18. > :16:28.for the night. Thank you and lovely to see you. More in a moment on the

:16:29. > :16:31.all under story stop -- Orlando.
