:00:13. > :00:18.We'll be taking a look at tomorrow morning's papers in a moment,

:00:19. > :00:27.Donald Trump's running mate Mike Pence says he can't condone

:00:28. > :00:29.or defend the Republican candidate's comments about women.

:00:30. > :00:31.Mr Trump's wife has called the remarks "unacceptable

:00:32. > :00:45.The hurricane has now weakened to a Category One storm,

:00:46. > :00:49.100 people have been killed in Haiti, it could take a few days for

:00:50. > :00:51.the total to be known. The hurricane has now weakened

:00:52. > :00:53.to a Category One storm, but continues to batter parts

:00:54. > :00:56.of the eastern coastline of the US. German police are searching

:00:57. > :00:59.for a Syrian man after explosives And Jeremy Corbyn's latest shadow

:01:00. > :01:04.Cabinet reshuffle is overshadowed Allies of the leader

:01:05. > :01:08.say his appointments show he's Hello and welcome to our look ahead

:01:09. > :01:26.to what the papers will be With me are the broadcaster

:01:27. > :01:31.Penny Smith and the Tomorrow's front

:01:32. > :01:39.pages, starting with: The Observer leads on turmoil

:01:40. > :01:45.for Donald Trump, as key Republicans withdraw their support after a tape

:01:46. > :01:48.emerged of him making lewd The Sunday Mirror has a special

:01:49. > :01:54.report on the war in Syria, focusing on the story of one little

:01:55. > :01:58.girl whose family has been torn The Mail on Sunday slams what it

:01:59. > :02:02.calls "vulture lawyers", pursuing medical negligence cases

:02:03. > :02:06.against the NHS totalling more In the Sunday Times,

:02:07. > :02:11.a former aide to David Cameron hits out against Theresa May's

:02:12. > :02:14.plans to make companies reveal their number

:02:15. > :02:16.of foreign employees - And the Sunday Telegraph has news

:02:17. > :02:22.of a "pensions revolution" - with savers to be allowed to invest

:02:23. > :02:36.in government So those were some of the front

:02:37. > :02:41.pages. Let's talk about them in more detail. First with the Observer.

:02:42. > :02:47.Focusing on the big story of the day, Donald Trump and that tape that

:02:48. > :02:56.has emerged from 11 years ago, 2005. Well... We have all heard... The

:02:57. > :03:01.things of our youth. We have all heard the comments but the question

:03:02. > :03:08.is what is a mean for the race for the White House? It is battling to

:03:09. > :03:17.stay in? It seems to be that all of the papers I have read, we were

:03:18. > :03:22.checking up on this, it seems that there is no way he can be forced out

:03:23. > :03:27.if he will not withdraw. The Republican Party cannot do anything.

:03:28. > :03:32.Senior Republicans are withdrawing their support for him. These are

:03:33. > :03:38.people who are maybe always lukewarm and maybe it is a pretext but they

:03:39. > :03:43.are, people like Sean McCain, the senator. There is this debate

:03:44. > :03:50.tonight, tomorrow, Sunday night, almost there. We are close. We are

:03:51. > :04:09.so close. He knows what he is going to be saying.

:04:10. > :04:13.made reference to Bill Clinton. Bill Clinton said much worse on the golf

:04:14. > :04:19.course. He seems incapable of saying sorry and leaving it at that. The

:04:20. > :04:26.problem is... For Donald Trump, it helps him if people see him as a

:04:27. > :04:30.figure of fun begins you cannot hate something that you find funny, on

:04:31. > :04:34.principle. When we hear that derogatory terms about female

:04:35. > :04:40.anatomy being used, that will put a lot of people off but actually, if

:04:41. > :04:45.enough mud is thrown in the other way about Bill Clinton, neither will

:04:46. > :04:49.look like they are smelling of roses in the end. But it could be in

:04:50. > :04:56.Hillary Clinton's favour because she is destined against. Presumably, it

:04:57. > :05:03.is principally women that will be repulsed by what he said although

:05:04. > :05:12.many men as well. Not many women will have voted for him in the first

:05:13. > :05:28.place. The people that have daughters are report. If you have

:05:29. > :05:39.daughters and look around and go, it can't be put into a box. He might

:05:40. > :05:49.not like what he said that it will come down to it. The election itself

:05:50. > :05:54.is dumber track. We have had so many moments where we have gone, really?

:05:55. > :05:58.Can he say and another thing like this? Then he says another one. Like

:05:59. > :06:07.some great big bonfire that has been built. The Trump story on the times,

:06:08. > :06:12.picture of type -- Trump. Also the picture of the woman who was the

:06:13. > :06:18.target of some of the lewd comments that he made. If more and more

:06:19. > :06:22.Americans withdraw their support, visit become increasingly harder for

:06:23. > :06:34.Donald Trump? Or does he have thick and won't care? He has shown himself

:06:35. > :06:37.to be like a puppy dog on heat rather than a rhinoceros. It won't

:06:38. > :06:48.help him when Republicans are attacking. He might get a kick out

:06:49. > :06:55.of the fact that people are pointing out. In the Sunday Times, it quotes

:06:56. > :07:06.Arnold Schwarzenegger that he is not, for the first time ever, voting

:07:07. > :07:16.for a Republican. An interesting comment about the US right supposed

:07:17. > :07:20.to be big on morality. Is it a question about the moral majority

:07:21. > :07:27.would ever you want to call them in the United States? It comes down to

:07:28. > :07:31.the thing about voting, of course, secret Scrolls. You can pay lip

:07:32. > :07:46.service to anything. And your cross anywhere.

:07:47. > :07:53.Trumps is straight talking. He is not a politician. He is certainly

:07:54. > :07:58.different. Let's move away from Donald Trump for a couple of minutes

:07:59. > :08:04.because back here, Brexit. The Sunday Telegraph again. That is

:08:05. > :08:08.their second story, fears that a Brexit split in Cabinet is

:08:09. > :08:16.irreparable. I wrote a piece many years ago when David Cameron and the

:08:17. > :08:19.coalition came into power about David Cameron's self-inflicted EU

:08:20. > :08:24.headache reopening the wounds of the past and we are seeing that now with

:08:25. > :08:28.Philip Hammond. He is respected at a Harley is on the right wing of the

:08:29. > :08:32.Conservative Party and people are saying that he is talking down the

:08:33. > :08:37.economy. They quoted an unnamed cabinet minister. I have no doubt

:08:38. > :08:43.they would have spoken to a cabinet minister on terms that would be

:08:44. > :08:47.unattributable. You are seeing the right, the left, the Brexit hard,

:08:48. > :08:53.soft in the middle is as divisive as the EU. There is a Cabinet minister,

:08:54. > :09:04.a comment from him, speaking about him being relentlessly pessimistic.

:09:05. > :09:08.You just think to Sir the more things change, the more they stay

:09:09. > :09:12.the same, I don't know why they expected anything to change. The

:09:13. > :09:18.Sunday Mirror and Syria with a striking front page. One word,

:09:19. > :09:23.monstrous. I suppose we have known that for a long time. The Syrian

:09:24. > :09:33.Civil War is monstrous. They focus here on a two-month-old who's father

:09:34. > :09:41.and two brothers are all dead. Why ... We remember the migrant crisis,

:09:42. > :09:46.and when you have a photo it is the reality that speaks to the audience.

:09:47. > :09:50.It is almost a shame that this fact alone is not really get into our

:09:51. > :09:58.psyche that here there is a focus on a girl who have lost her family.

:09:59. > :10:03.Trying to kill her so there was no hope. When you think about the

:10:04. > :10:11.people who are living in that area and you look at the homes and that

:10:12. > :10:15.the staggering size of that explosion, it towers over that block

:10:16. > :10:21.that has been hit. These are people who are trying to carry on with

:10:22. > :10:33.their lives, day after day with this going on. You can't, we can't

:10:34. > :10:38.understand it. It is sobering and we do need to be reminded on days when

:10:39. > :10:44.other news dominates that Syria goes on with its own civil war. Let's

:10:45. > :10:51.have a look at the Independent. They have a story about Gatwick. I did

:10:52. > :11:00.not realise and I probably should have that there is only one runway

:11:01. > :11:05.at Gatwick. We were both surprised. It is the busiest single runway in

:11:06. > :11:10.the world. The busiest in the world with San Diego being the second

:11:11. > :11:17.busiest. Half the passenger traffic, however. Gatwick talking of building

:11:18. > :11:25.a second runway in a matter what happens. Theresa May talking of

:11:26. > :11:28.overriding concerns about the green economy, the climate. But, again,

:11:29. > :11:34.you come back down to an argument that obviously, I think global

:11:35. > :11:52.warming is serious but on the same token so is gross. -- so is growth.

:11:53. > :11:57.The what is your view? Should it be Heathrow or Gatwick? It is

:11:58. > :12:03.difficult. I like being on the fence. I am going to say that we

:12:04. > :12:11.should build it because we need more. I will tell you why I will

:12:12. > :12:14.have both, it is difficult and I appreciate the sweeping statement

:12:15. > :12:20.that I will make tonight. On the face of this it is the case that we

:12:21. > :12:24.are, whether people like it or not, we will shortly be in a post Brexit

:12:25. > :12:28.Britain. There will be trade deals that may rely on more goods coming

:12:29. > :12:36.in and out but actually many people would like to see them address

:12:37. > :12:41.carbon footprints. I guess you don't live near the airport? That is what

:12:42. > :12:51.I was going to say. I have a friend and when I go visit... Hello,

:12:52. > :12:55.friend. When in his garden, we are very good at talking in two-minute

:12:56. > :12:59.bursts and then waiting for an air plane to go over and then we carry

:13:00. > :13:06.on. It happens, it was part of life. The last story is swimmers are

:13:07. > :13:11.wasting their time because they are such bad swimmers, apparently, they

:13:12. > :13:15.are not gaining any noticeable health benefit from their swimming.

:13:16. > :13:20.A government exercise expert says. Their technique is so rubbish it is

:13:21. > :13:24.like doggy paddle and they spend all of their time doing a little bit

:13:25. > :13:27.doggy paddle and chatting to their friends. But they are not eating

:13:28. > :13:34.popcorn while they are swimming. It would go very soggy. Even rice

:13:35. > :13:39.crackers might as well. Doctors say it is not good for weight loss but

:13:40. > :13:46.is weight loss the be all and end all? You need to change your diet.

:13:47. > :13:54.You feel better for exercise. Do you swim? No, I do endless fast walking.

:13:55. > :14:00.I need a bill to get people to move off the pavement when I come

:14:01. > :14:09.through. -- need a bell. I go to the gym at Penny is right. And we are

:14:10. > :14:15.obsessed by the scales, our BMI. If it is a choice between, you know,

:14:16. > :14:22.they pulled pork hotdog or whatever else you may like, or a quick

:14:23. > :14:26.swim... Do you enjoy it? No. I know it is good for me, regardless of

:14:27. > :14:30.this, it is good for my heart and lungs. But I hate it. But

:14:31. > :14:38.particularly when you start piling on the pounds. Swimming when it is

:14:39. > :14:45.warm as nice. In the Mediterranean. Thank you to both of you. That is it

:14:46. > :14:47.from the papers at this hour. Thank you to Penny and to Shaun. Coming up

:14:48. > :14:51.next is the film review.
