:00:00. > :00:00.Chian Broadbent and Charlotte Rampling star in this film. We will

:00:00. > :00:15.have our thoughts coming up in the Film cut Mac review. -- Review.

:00:16. > :00:18.Hello and welcome to our look ahead to what the papers will be

:00:19. > :00:26.With me are Nigel Nelson, political editor of the Sunday Mirror

:00:27. > :00:28.and the Sunday People, and the political commentator

:00:29. > :00:35.Tomorrow's front pages, starting with

:00:36. > :00:38.The Mail on Sunday leads with the rising tensions around

:00:39. > :00:46.North Korea and their threat to wipe out the United States armada.

:00:47. > :00:49.The Sunday Times, also leading on North Korea, says President Trump

:00:50. > :00:54.is prepared to strike Korean nuclear sites.

:00:55. > :00:56.The Sunday Telegraph goes with the potential threat to America

:00:57. > :01:00.It says that North Korea possesses the capability to strike

:01:01. > :01:02.The Express calls it the Deadliest Stand-off.

:01:03. > :01:05.And the Observer leads on an education story,

:01:06. > :01:21.saying that free schools will benefit wealthier regions.

:01:22. > :01:32.Good evening to you both. Our final look at the papers. We are starting

:01:33. > :01:37.off at the mail. North Korea. Looking at all the papers, it seems

:01:38. > :01:43.to be and not a very happy Easter kind of message. The mail has done a

:01:44. > :01:55.good analysis of the weaponry we saw being rolled out today in North

:01:56. > :01:59.Korea. They are talking about such things as the Japanese are thinking

:02:00. > :02:04.of drawing up plans to take 57 thousands of their nationals out of

:02:05. > :02:08.South Korea. If they are doing that than they are obviously taking that

:02:09. > :02:14.seriously. The interesting bit that they do mention is the

:02:15. > :02:18.intercontinental ballistic missile. The ones that can go allegedly 7000

:02:19. > :02:23.miles and hit the West coast of America. One of the points they are

:02:24. > :02:27.making is that even if these things exist. If you remember, they were

:02:28. > :02:35.just in case things, that may be all there is to it. The one thing we do

:02:36. > :02:39.know is that they are yet to be flight tested. That seems to be the

:02:40. > :02:43.big problem they have. They may have the warheads and have the nuclear

:02:44. > :02:49.stuff to put on them will stop however, they are not quite so sure

:02:50. > :02:55.about the delivery system. That obviously questions how much this is

:02:56. > :03:02.going to be possible. That's how tensions drop rather than rise

:03:03. > :03:08.because Arsenal might not know where it's going. When you look at the

:03:09. > :03:13.fact the US have moved so close, they have moved into the Korean

:03:14. > :03:19.peninsula, I think this is what has made people jittery. What you have

:03:20. > :03:28.to remember is that you have two men who are perhaps not of their equable

:03:29. > :03:33.temperament. Wouldn't say they are both completely bonkers but I

:03:34. > :03:43.wouldn't want to be stuck with them in a lift, would you? In North

:03:44. > :03:47.Korea, he can do whatever he likes. Interestingly, Donald Trump has been

:03:48. > :03:55.very quiet on Twitter and has dispatched Mike Pence to South

:03:56. > :04:01.Korea. But it does, as you say, it is built... And the fact you have

:04:02. > :04:06.the American armada heading towards the Korean peninsula. You have is,,

:04:07. > :04:15.hauled missiles, you have quite a lot of stuff that means this is that

:04:16. > :04:19.crisis that is very choreographed. You are saying it choreographed

:04:20. > :04:22.display in North Korea that you also have the choreography going on

:04:23. > :04:31.outside in the waters and the oceans. The world is watching and

:04:32. > :04:37.waiting. The terrible fear is that if this North Korea really sticking

:04:38. > :04:42.a stick through the bars of Donald Trump's cage to try and force him to

:04:43. > :04:47.do something? In actual fact, this parade turns out to be empty

:04:48. > :04:53.canisters of nothing. He mentioned Donald Trump on Twitter -- you

:04:54. > :04:57.mentioned. His last tweet which is pointing towards what's going on in

:04:58. > :05:01.North Korea. "I Have great confidence that China will probably

:05:02. > :05:08.deal with North Korea. If they are unable to do so, the US, with its

:05:09. > :05:13.allies, will. You as a." Maybe it's not so much North Korea sticking to

:05:14. > :05:20.stick at the US that maybe the US prodding China. -- USA. Of course

:05:21. > :05:24.they do. He was meeting with the Chinese leader last week but you

:05:25. > :05:28.also have the problem where China sits on the UN and the problem when

:05:29. > :05:32.China sits in relation to Syria which of course is of huge

:05:33. > :05:36.importance to the world that is also of huge importance in American

:05:37. > :05:41.diplomatic relations and a lot of this. We are talking about weapons.

:05:42. > :05:47.We are talking about force. But actually, nine times out of ten,

:05:48. > :05:52.these things are resolved somehow or other or dealt with through

:05:53. > :05:57.diplomatic channels. You have pretty untested and inexperienced foreign

:05:58. > :06:01.affairs team in Rex Tillerson, the Secretary of State, who is a

:06:02. > :06:05.businessman. He is good at doing deals but whether he can do a deal

:06:06. > :06:09.with China over something like this. Who knows? I suppose the times are

:06:10. > :06:21.going with these pre-emptive strikes. --I suppose the Times. The

:06:22. > :06:25.Americans no sweat these missiles are being constructed and kept. They

:06:26. > :06:30.want to knock them all out. That is the basic message coming through.

:06:31. > :06:34.Interestingly, the Times also makes the point that you have just made.

:06:35. > :06:42.This may be a just a bit of rhetoric to try and get the Chinese on side.

:06:43. > :06:51.The Chinese are pivotal to all this. What you need to do is get them to

:06:52. > :06:57.put the pressure on chairman to stand down. We just need to see if

:06:58. > :07:02.they can do that. The other thing the Times reports, going back the

:07:03. > :07:13.point about tweets, the chief of staff of the US air force general

:07:14. > :07:19.David Goldstone, tweeted a picture of American War plays and the words

:07:20. > :07:23."Fights on". It doesn't seem to me like somebody waiting for a

:07:24. > :07:27.diplomatic solution. It's not particularly helpful. The problem

:07:28. > :07:32.may have, if Kim carries out the test, it will be a six. Has been

:07:33. > :07:37.five where we made all sorts of threats, we tried sanctions, UN

:07:38. > :07:41.condemnation, none of it works. What do you do next? I understand that

:07:42. > :07:46.Trump team to temperament he has, he wants to actually do something the

:07:47. > :07:51.idea of an actual pre-emptive strike, hitting first, seems to me

:07:52. > :07:55.inconceivable. Is interesting, isn't it, that we are having international

:07:56. > :08:01.diplomacy and headlines with war in them and it's all been taken mostly

:08:02. > :08:07.by Twitter. That's why it's shocking. That's the new world we're

:08:08. > :08:24.living in. Let's move on to the Sunday Telegraph and again, its

:08:25. > :08:31.career. -- Korea. The only reason America was interested in this now

:08:32. > :08:36.is because it can hit said Shaw. Mr Trump might not be wanting to be

:08:37. > :08:43.involved in foreign affairs any more. He seems to have changed his

:08:44. > :08:47.tune in the last week. He has changed his tune completely. I don't

:08:48. > :09:02.know how many days we have had now off -- off of Trump. The things he

:09:03. > :09:06.had bombed so far, I never thought I would be in agreement of that I

:09:07. > :09:10.have. The one thing he has been making if there are red lines. When

:09:11. > :09:16.you cross the red line like using chemical weapons in Syria, there

:09:17. > :09:22.will be a price to be paid. He then hit Syria with 59 cruise missiles.

:09:23. > :09:26.Isis move into Afghanistan and try and destabilise the country hugely

:09:27. > :09:31.and again, price to be paid. They drop a big Allmond them. None of

:09:32. > :09:35.these things seem to be about being at the moment. I'm not sure you can

:09:36. > :09:39.play the same trick the third time with Korea, though. Today they

:09:40. > :09:44.attacked Korea, they have lawful lot more to hit back with. A lot of

:09:45. > :09:49.people are saying that North Korea wants some respect. This is why they

:09:50. > :09:56.are carrying all this out and they want... Perhaps we should have

:09:57. > :10:07.stopped with taking the Mickey out of Cymmer's a cut. This poll is very

:10:08. > :10:12.interesting. -- Kim Jong-un's. Their greatest leading government since

:10:13. > :10:21.1983. This is the Independent. A poll conducted for the Independent

:10:22. > :10:26.which gives the Tories a percentage over Labour. The greatest leap since

:10:27. > :10:32.1983. The highest lead of any party since May 2009, in fact. What is

:10:33. > :10:36.really interesting and right at the bottom of this article, the last

:10:37. > :10:41.paragraph, the poll also discovered as significant support for a new

:10:42. > :10:46.political party in Britain. 41% of British adults agree there is a

:10:47. > :10:51.space for a centre party. That will give a lot of food for thought to

:10:52. > :10:57.the people in the Labour Party. They are probably looking into going into

:10:58. > :11:05.oblivion with Jeremy Corbyn if this is to be believed and also the Lib

:11:06. > :11:12.Dems. Myself and Nigel remembered that SLP and the SNP that went

:11:13. > :11:17.before it. That went to be a busted flush. Charly Williams is still a

:11:18. > :11:24.round, actually, I think you'll find. But the party isn't. At its an

:11:25. > :11:29.important point. I think it's really important. What this shows is that

:11:30. > :11:34.one of the other things is that the Conservatives are probably going to

:11:35. > :11:39.take a lot of votes from the UKIP. They will be the real losers in

:11:40. > :11:43.this. Lim what they have here is that three in ten of people who

:11:44. > :11:47.voted for UKIP it the 2015 election are now saying, according to this

:11:48. > :11:52.poll, that they would vote for the Tories. There has been talk between

:11:53. > :11:56.the Tories and some Labour MPs about the formation of another party and

:11:57. > :12:02.that will probably be Labour joining with the Lib Dems and make a third

:12:03. > :12:07.centre-left party. The problem is that I think the Labour Party is to

:12:08. > :12:12.tribal. When it comes to it, Labour MPs are not going to jump ship. That

:12:13. > :12:15.is one of the problems they have had with Jeremy Corbyn. Even those who

:12:16. > :12:19.most oppose him, the last thing they want to do is leave the Labour

:12:20. > :12:23.Party. It's just the nature of it. The idea of a third party coming

:12:24. > :12:31.from nothing, I don't think it's possible. Who would be an

:12:32. > :12:37.alternative to Mr Corbyn within Labour? Any names spring to mind?

:12:38. > :12:42.No, they will not challenge now. They will not be any challenge until

:12:43. > :12:56.2018. If you are putting money on it, ... Is it an egg hunt or in

:12:57. > :13:05.Easter egg hunt later today? This is Theresa May, Prime Minister and

:13:06. > :13:24.Vika's daughter... And an Easter Rex Hunt. -- vicar. Tony Blair said "We

:13:25. > :13:28.don't do God" unfortunately, he did do it. She has come out and said it

:13:29. > :13:31.is a robust defence of the right of questions to speak about their fate

:13:32. > :13:40.following controversy about the Easter Rex Hunt, as you mentioned.

:13:41. > :13:46.-- faith -- Easter egg hunt. People will stand up for those who openly

:13:47. > :13:50.support their fate. It is a personal video message. She is putting her

:13:51. > :13:55.money where her mouth is. Issue was prepared to carry this out,

:13:56. > :13:58.tremendous. The whole thing is that Joe Joyce complains that they don't

:13:59. > :14:05.get involved in debate or whatever. -- is she was prepared. It is

:14:06. > :14:10.lagging 25 years behind the people they seek serve. Let's stick to the

:14:11. > :14:18.Church theme and turn to the Sunday Telegraph. Ready to put those

:14:19. > :14:31.archbishops? How could you forget that? This was

:14:32. > :14:34.a builder 's accident that turned into a fantastic discovery. They

:14:35. > :14:40.were doing some work. They've been doing big river management for a

:14:41. > :14:43.museum. They went through a wrong bet they found what seemed to be a

:14:44. > :14:53.hidden chamber. -- big refurbishment. This is the ultimate

:14:54. > :14:58.selfy stick. They could turn a mobile phone into a whole, and

:14:59. > :15:12.discovered a hidden stairway, and in the stairway... There were 30 lead

:15:13. > :15:15.coffins. And these are quite a lot of Archbishops of Canterbury, dating

:15:16. > :15:21.back to the 17th century. How could you misplace your archbishops? Thank

:15:22. > :15:24.you for that. That is such a mystery.
