:00:10. > :00:15.We'll be taking a look at tomorrow mornings papers in a moment,

:00:16. > :00:19.Great Ormond Street Hospital contacts the police

:00:20. > :00:21.after staff received death threats and online abuse

:00:22. > :00:25.in relation to the Charlie Gard case.

:00:26. > :00:27.As Donald Trump commissions a new warship,

:00:28. > :00:29.his family prepare to give evidence to the investigation

:00:30. > :00:31.into his team's possible links with Russia.

:00:32. > :00:34.The President tweeted a reminder that he has

:00:35. > :00:41.Chris Froome is on the verge of taking his fourth

:00:42. > :00:46.after increasing his lead in today's time trial.

:00:47. > :00:49.And Tom Daley has claimed his first individual world diving title

:00:50. > :01:08.He won gold in the 10 metre platform final in Budapest.

:01:09. > :01:12.Hello and welcome to our look ahead to what the the papers will be

:01:13. > :01:16.columnist with the London Evening Standard,

:01:17. > :01:21.and Martin Lipton, Head of Sport at the Sun.

:01:22. > :01:24.Tomorrow's front pages, starting with The Observer

:01:25. > :01:26.which leads with claims that the Brexit Secretary,

:01:27. > :01:29.David Davis, is the preferred choice among Tory members

:01:30. > :01:33.to replace Prime Minister Theresa May.

:01:34. > :01:35.The Sunday Express features a family photograph

:01:36. > :01:38.of Prince Harry and his mother, Diana the Princess of Wales,

:01:39. > :01:41.with the headline Our Last Words With Mummy.

:01:42. > :01:46.along with reports that more than forty female BBC presenters

:01:47. > :01:48.have signed an open letter to the director-general

:01:49. > :01:55.The Sunday Times says men and women will be able to change their gender

:01:56. > :01:59.legally without a doctor's diagnosis under government plans.

:02:00. > :02:01.While the Star leads with Princes Harry and William's

:02:02. > :02:05.last conversation with their mum before she died.

:02:06. > :02:08.The royal story also dominates the front of the Mail on Sunday.

:02:09. > :02:11.Ahead of the 20th anniversary of her death,

:02:12. > :02:14.Princes Harry and William pay tribute to their mum,

:02:15. > :02:36.The front of the Sunday Telegraph. Tory faithful urge Theresa May to

:02:37. > :02:43.leave number ten by Christmas. The grass root saying, unsurprisingly,

:02:44. > :02:49.after the quite unsuccessful general election and they think the clock is

:02:50. > :02:58.ticking down and calling for her to go, obviously. The Telegraph

:02:59. > :03:04.mentions here a report... A presentation, sorry, by a senior

:03:05. > :03:12.representative of Tory volunteers from around 200 party groups and the

:03:13. > :03:24.report criticises every aspect of the campaign, including the

:03:25. > :03:30.manifesto disaster and making it a choice of two leaders, that that was

:03:31. > :03:39.a terrible mistake. It is only a matter of time, they say. When they

:03:40. > :03:44.talk about leading voices among activists at the grassroots and you

:03:45. > :03:49.wonder how many. Also, it is one thing to decide to cut off the head

:03:50. > :03:56.of the party then finding somebody else's head to stick on the tattered

:03:57. > :04:02.body. I think you might be leading us to the front of the Observer. It

:04:03. > :04:15.is understandable, the Tory party has to be led by a Brexiteer. At

:04:16. > :04:22.least Davies, Fox Adam Johnson other three most prominent. Michael Gove

:04:23. > :04:35.is gone so you're with those of three. But this massive clamour for

:04:36. > :04:41.David Davis is 20% of 1000 Tory members so not exactly a huge

:04:42. > :04:51.endorsement of any of them. None of the above city be the favourite

:04:52. > :04:56.option. Davis was a victim himself in 2005 when he stood against David

:04:57. > :05:02.Cameron to replace Michael Howerd who had resigned and David Davis was

:05:03. > :05:10.supposed to walk it and then you had these young MP with a fresh voice,

:05:11. > :05:19.and a fresher face... Theresa May came out because of the failings of

:05:20. > :05:25.others. I think as well it reflects the fact they do not have a great

:05:26. > :05:29.talent. They have I think a lot of good MPs on the backbenches but they

:05:30. > :05:36.do not have great people coming up through the... Hence the surprise

:05:37. > :05:44.choice for candidate. It might be skipping a generation. Dominic may

:05:45. > :05:50.be seen as the standardbearer for the young... Jessye Norman should

:05:51. > :05:56.have been around much more than he has been but has not been much

:05:57. > :06:04.respect that. Jeremy Corbyn also features on the front of the

:06:05. > :06:08.absorber. The secret back up. This is wonderful. Most of the Labour

:06:09. > :06:13.Party spent the last ten years blaming Tony Blair for everything

:06:14. > :06:20.and they now should be faithful to keeping them in Parliament. This is

:06:21. > :06:28.Hilary Armstrong who says there was a move within the North CLP to

:06:29. > :06:32.deselect Corbyn because he was a persistent rebel and voted against

:06:33. > :06:40.government time and time again, the very thing which he now says it is

:06:41. > :06:45.unacceptable from his MPs. This is part of a push back by the

:06:46. > :06:52.centre-right of the Labour Party. You have Tom Watson, the suggestion

:06:53. > :06:57.of mandatory selection of MPs and it is a reminder that it is supposed to

:06:58. > :07:03.be a broad church here and according to this Tony Blair was the one to

:07:04. > :07:09.say when people were saying to get rid of Jeremy Corbyn, he said hang

:07:10. > :07:15.on, we need to make sure there is this broad church. There is a bit of

:07:16. > :07:22.political irony. Some people would have been very glad he had, looking

:07:23. > :07:26.back with hindsight, if only we got rid of Jeremy Corbyn and then.

:07:27. > :07:36.Things have changed somewhat in the last two months. Choosing your sex.

:07:37. > :07:45.In the Sunday Times, Justine Greening, deals with equality

:07:46. > :07:51.matters. She has talked about a step forward in terms of equality in this

:07:52. > :07:54.country. Women's rights, the legalisation of same-sex marriage

:07:55. > :08:01.and now she says that has to come for transgender people and that is

:08:02. > :08:10.about changing... At the moment, if you want to change the sex on your

:08:11. > :08:14.birth certificate, that has to go through medical... Through a medical

:08:15. > :08:23.system and this is saying people should be entitled to do that

:08:24. > :08:28.legally without a Doctor's diagnosis, also an interesting issue

:08:29. > :08:39.about allowing gay men to give larger. Quite a lot there. This is

:08:40. > :08:46.the bit that is quite controversial, I suspect, because people are going

:08:47. > :08:51.to say, well, you can see what they are trying to do here and it might

:08:52. > :08:57.sound brilliant except there are spaces and there are racist concerns

:08:58. > :09:05.because they are there to protect women and we were talking earlier

:09:06. > :09:11.about prisons, hospital wards, crisis centres... Talk of legal

:09:12. > :09:21.cases and some people are unhappy about it. If people are concerned...

:09:22. > :09:29.The interesting thing is rather than two years living as a woman when you

:09:30. > :09:35.were born a man, they intend to leave any of you are quite gender,

:09:36. > :09:40.is that tree declaration is what you need. People may be concerned

:09:41. > :09:44.because there would be doubts about the genuine commitment of the change

:09:45. > :09:55.and that is where the issue of rivers the... Sport also is a place

:09:56. > :10:02.that this... In Iran there is an issue that most of the people who

:10:03. > :10:06.make the women's football teams are trans- and they did not sit

:10:07. > :10:12.necessarily to be transitioning and that is another place that it will

:10:13. > :10:17.come up and be controversial. The missing women demand instant pay

:10:18. > :10:26.rise. This is unsurprising, really. We all saw the numbers. Didn't see

:10:27. > :10:34.your number... I didn't make that. I was curious of admission. One to

:10:35. > :10:43.absolutely brilliant broadcaster 's... Who are outstanding and some

:10:44. > :10:55.of them have written a letter to Tony Hall, the director general,.

:10:56. > :11:03.Many names included, basically every start name... Some very significant

:11:04. > :11:07.names. And they have every right to be fuming. The principal statement

:11:08. > :11:15.is committing the closing that gap which is already narrow in the BBC

:11:16. > :11:20.that other places, and closing it by 2020. I agree with the women here

:11:21. > :11:27.but I would add that the BBC gets more scrutiny in these issues and

:11:28. > :11:31.other organisations. We need to close the gap everywhere. One of the

:11:32. > :11:37.great things these women have called for is that it is not just asked,

:11:38. > :11:41.the talent, it should be everyone across the board. And that is a

:11:42. > :11:47.really important. The Sunday express, exclusive on page two, the

:11:48. > :11:56.NHS and its future and talks of radical and rapid spending. It is a

:11:57. > :12:04.rather grim. The BMA has warned that the government is drawing up secret

:12:05. > :12:11.plans for radical spending cuts and this is ?250 million. Apocalyptic

:12:12. > :12:17.sort of warning. This really is at the end of the NHS. It would give up

:12:18. > :12:23.the coverage from cradle to grave and that is really what the NHS

:12:24. > :12:33.stands for. You have to think, if you talk to any NHS staff, nurse, De

:12:34. > :12:39.is, ambulance workers, it really is quite desperate and they are really

:12:40. > :12:47.stressed. Apocalyptic, as you say. We will finish with the Observer,

:12:48. > :13:01.back to it, a photograph of Chris Froome. Yes, indeed. He will be

:13:02. > :13:06.parading down the shop the -- down Paris, despite not winning a single

:13:07. > :13:11.stage this year which is quite unusual. The convention that I like

:13:12. > :13:18.is that you do not attack the leader on the final day. It is an

:13:19. > :13:23.incredible story. The sheer relentlessness, the demands put on

:13:24. > :13:32.these riders to go down and up those mountains, it is truly remarkable.

:13:33. > :13:38.The bravery they have to show. Ludicrous 70 kilometres an hour

:13:39. > :13:44.coming down those steep slopes is remarkable. An astonishing

:13:45. > :13:49.achievement. He is a fantastic, fantastic sportsman and he will

:13:50. > :13:54.deserve is every accolade. I can't say I will be watching but it is a

:13:55. > :14:00.beautiful front page. He was not wearing his special suit because he

:14:01. > :14:03.was not allowed to wear but he will be in yellow tomorrow. Thank you

:14:04. > :14:16.very much indeed. My guest today is one of the world's

:14:17. > :14:21.most popular crime writers,
