0:00:13 > 0:00:15Hello.

0:00:15 > 0:00:16This is BBC News with Martine Croxall.

0:00:16 > 0:00:19We'll be taking a look at tomorrow morning's papers in a moment -

0:00:19 > 0:00:20first the headlines.

0:00:20 > 0:00:23Donald Trump has renewed his attack on the author of a new book,

0:00:23 > 0:00:25who suggested that the president's closest advisors question

0:00:25 > 0:00:26his fitness for office.

0:00:26 > 0:00:29Mr Trump called the journalist, Michael Wolff, "a fraud".

0:00:29 > 0:00:33I consider it a work of fiction and I think it's a disgrace that

0:00:33 > 0:00:36somebody's able to have something, do something like that.

0:00:36 > 0:00:39The libel laws are very weak in this country.

0:00:39 > 0:00:43If they were strong it would be very helpful.

0:00:43 > 0:00:45You wouldn't have things like that happen, where you can say

0:00:45 > 0:00:48whatever comes to your head.

0:00:49 > 0:00:52An Ambulance Service has apologised to the family of an elderly woman

0:00:52 > 0:00:55who died after almost a four hour wait for paramedics.

0:00:55 > 0:00:58A spokesperson for the Department of Health said it was a 'tragic

0:00:58 > 0:01:00case' and 'completely unacceptable'.

0:01:01 > 0:01:05Reports from Syria say 17 civilians have been killed in air raids

0:01:05 > 0:01:08on the rebel-held enclave of Eastern Ghouta, near Damascus.

0:01:08 > 0:01:11Today's attacks come as aid workers say hospitals have

0:01:11 > 0:01:13been directly targeted.

0:01:15 > 0:01:17House of Fraser has confirmed that it has asked landlords

0:01:17 > 0:01:19to reduce rents on some of its shops.

0:01:19 > 0:01:22The department store chain is due to reveal its Christmas

0:01:22 > 0:01:24trading figures next week.

0:01:33 > 0:01:49and highlights of click's recent live show, have to stay safe online.

0:01:50 > 0:01:53Hello and welcome to our look ahead to what the papers will be bringing

0:01:53 > 0:02:07us tomorrow. With this eve pollard, commentator. And also Dharshini.

0:02:07 > 0:02:10The Sunday Times claims that the Prime Minister will hold a cabinet

0:02:10 > 0:02:15reshuffle on Monday with up to -- macro with several minutes of being

0:02:15 > 0:02:24moved or sacks. The Sunday Telegraph says that Justin Greaney is fighting

0:02:24 > 0:02:49for the job. Old media posts were held to contain disgusting tweets.

0:02:49 > 0:02:52The Sunday Express right that Theresa May has ordered a review

0:02:52 > 0:02:57into parole board after the former taxi driver John Warboys, found

0:02:57 > 0:03:05guilty of sexual assault against several women has been released.

0:03:05 > 0:03:10Let's look into the stories about the reshuffle which will happen next

0:03:10 > 0:03:13week although Downing Street has been circumspect about whether they

0:03:13 > 0:03:22have got any of the names right. Some senior ministers looking safe,

0:03:22 > 0:03:33according to this report?Yes, Boris's name does not come up. But

0:03:33 > 0:03:40others do not. Shuffling a whole six-pack. Mrs me is either busy

0:03:40 > 0:03:45being furious about stories or reshuffling. -- Mrs Theresa May.

0:03:45 > 0:03:49Education, an area that has seen problems over the last couple of

0:03:49 > 0:03:56years because of funding changes. On the other hand, you have got Jeremy

0:03:56 > 0:04:00Hunt in charge of another crisis in Department. It looks like he could

0:04:00 > 0:04:05be moving upwards to replace Damian Green. So lots going on there. We

0:04:05 > 0:04:12could see a whole raft of new faces. The idea is to make way for the new

0:04:12 > 0:04:16generation. But Justin Greening has been popular with the unions, they

0:04:16 > 0:04:22say the she has understood them all. But Britain is not near the top of

0:04:22 > 0:04:26any list in the education thing. Reading, maths, they are not great

0:04:26 > 0:04:33at school. I'm afraid this is what happens. You go into a job and have

0:04:33 > 0:04:39to turn it around really fast or you are out. There is a feeling that you

0:04:39 > 0:04:44are left with a lot of people here who don't have kids or whatever

0:04:44 > 0:04:48people are saying, I go to school every day and everyone to know, want

0:04:48 > 0:04:57to shout about what is going wrong with my school. The younger Cabinet

0:04:57 > 0:04:58to shout about what is going wrong with my school. The younger Cabinet,

0:04:58 > 0:05:05a more diverse cabinet would be more interesting.Justin Greening was

0:05:05 > 0:05:08educated in a comprehensive. The first Education Secretary who had

0:05:08 > 0:05:12not been to a public school. And the idea was that she would understand

0:05:12 > 0:05:17more about social mobility and what that looks like and people who had

0:05:17 > 0:05:21done the job before. And to be fair to her, she has been dealt a hard

0:05:21 > 0:05:26hand because there have been changes in funding particularly in

0:05:26 > 0:05:30inner-city schools. That is problematic. How can you deliver

0:05:30 > 0:05:33better results when you are wondering if you can keep the number

0:05:33 > 0:05:41of teachers you have now? At the same time, something in the Sunday

0:05:41 > 0:05:45Times, saying that Theresa May might adopt her patronising tone, whatever

0:05:45 > 0:05:56that means?Hard to know. Which politician is not patronising at?

0:05:56 > 0:06:00You have a whole load of new politicians who are fairly untouched

0:06:00 > 0:06:06by some of the drama is that I've gone before, give them a go and

0:06:06 > 0:06:10revitalise the whole thing.It needs a new look.You need experience as

0:06:10 > 0:06:16well? She's leaving quite a lot in place. The Sunday Telegraph

0:06:16 > 0:06:23highlights Justin Greening, saying she is fighting for her job. But she

0:06:23 > 0:06:28hasn't got a huge amount of room for manoeuvre?Very little. And a

0:06:28 > 0:06:32minority government. And she has very little time because Mr Michel

0:06:32 > 0:06:39Barnier is have -- has had Christmas with his family and is coming back

0:06:39 > 0:06:45to Brexit. She has to do all this as well as Brexit.Downing Street has

0:06:45 > 0:06:51said that all of the speculation in the Sunday papers is just

0:06:51 > 0:06:55speculation. They are saying it is all guesswork but we are expecting a

0:06:55 > 0:07:01reshuffle on Monday and Tuesday. There has to be, because there is a

0:07:01 > 0:07:04vacancy created by Damian Green moving on. You have to get that in

0:07:04 > 0:07:10place.There have been a lot of complaints from civil servants and

0:07:10 > 0:07:20other parts of the non-Brexit policies that Brexit has taken over.

0:07:20 > 0:07:26Maybe Brexit has to? It is the most scary thing we are doing. And you

0:07:26 > 0:07:43will work the -- you are working with Europe with Europe who have

0:07:43 > 0:07:51never done before.The Daily Mail, PM's discussed at sordid tweets.

0:07:51 > 0:07:59Toby Young has got a position on the new office for students watchdog. It

0:07:59 > 0:08:04shows how social media can haunt you for years. It is the advice given to

0:08:04 > 0:08:07university students, be careful about what you write, it could come

0:08:07 > 0:08:12and haunt you. It appears that the new appointee had not paid attention

0:08:12 > 0:08:18to that. He has deleted many thousand tweets. Some of which we

0:08:18 > 0:08:23were told one misogynistic or offensive.Have you read some of

0:08:23 > 0:08:30them?Yes.Of course, when social media was started, nobody would

0:08:30 > 0:08:35think they would come back and hit you. I have to say that I know two

0:08:35 > 0:08:39Byung Poong. It was interesting when we talked about education and he has

0:08:39 > 0:08:43done interesting things with three schools. But you cannot have

0:08:43 > 0:08:49somebody who has written stuff about women, which he has, going into

0:08:49 > 0:08:54these semi-governmental positions. The truth is, the only worrying

0:08:54 > 0:09:03thing is that you grow a group of people who are dull, boring. The

0:09:03 > 0:09:09whole thing about social media is that I think we will look back at it

0:09:09 > 0:09:13and say gosh, we used it stupidly at the beginning. Some of these tweets

0:09:13 > 0:09:19go back to 2009. People managed to take a screenshot of them. They will

0:09:19 > 0:09:26never go.You can't get rid of them. It draws comparison with other

0:09:26 > 0:09:34cases. The person from Sheffield who did a treat us found to be not the

0:09:34 > 0:09:39best person to be on the qualities committee. And isn't it hypocrisy to

0:09:39 > 0:09:46keep Toby Young? If it's not part of the whole Harvey Weinstein thing

0:09:46 > 0:09:51about the attitude to women? There is no suggestion that there is

0:09:51 > 0:09:58anything of that nature. Of course not. If easy to explain it away as

0:09:58 > 0:10:02something you made a mistake on nine years ago, but I think Toby will

0:10:02 > 0:10:09still in his 40s when he wrote those!I don't know if Toby has ever

0:10:09 > 0:10:20answered any of these...? He could use the papers.I think it would be

0:10:20 > 0:10:23interesting. Something should talk to him about also some other things.

0:10:23 > 0:10:28He is smart and savvy but how stupid to let all this out on social media.

0:10:28 > 0:10:33Also embarrassing for people who oversaw the process. You should do

0:10:33 > 0:10:38due diligence if you are hiring someone. But you probably talk about

0:10:38 > 0:10:41different things, you don't talk about...What's on the road eight

0:10:41 > 0:10:47years ago. The Sunday Express, PM's fury at

0:10:47 > 0:10:58rate fast. Review into parole board -- at rape farce. This had been

0:10:58 > 0:11:01poured over for the last few days because some victims were not

0:11:01 > 0:11:06notified that he this was going to happen. Many victims were not

0:11:06 > 0:11:13notified and never included in the court case that sent him down. So

0:11:13 > 0:11:16there are various things. The indeterminate sentence, which didn't

0:11:16 > 0:11:21used to exist but does now. You think when somebody gets an

0:11:21 > 0:11:24indeterminate sentence, they are going away for a long time. We now

0:11:24 > 0:11:29discover they are not. On the other thing is, we have seen photographs

0:11:29 > 0:11:38of his kit. A premeditation seems to be part of it. There is booze,

0:11:38 > 0:11:42drugs, also of things. And the fact that many women felt that they were

0:11:42 > 0:11:47not even allowed to actually put their case, I can't believe this

0:11:47 > 0:11:53won't come back to haunt and there will be another case. The idea is

0:11:53 > 0:11:56being put forward that there should be more transparency about how

0:11:56 > 0:12:02parole board makes decisions. The parole board has said that there is

0:12:02 > 0:12:07not transparency out there. For this to happen is appalling. You think of

0:12:07 > 0:12:13the 100 other alleged victims who as we were talking about earlier, this

0:12:13 > 0:12:17is the time now when we could see them putting their lives back

0:12:17 > 0:12:24together.The other thing is, it's another thing that is totally

0:12:24 > 0:12:28transparent about government. How do you get on the parole board? The

0:12:28 > 0:12:34Wizard made up of? Is there anybody normal, sensible, practical? Is it

0:12:34 > 0:12:40just full of legal people? It is one of those things that is coated in

0:12:40 > 0:12:44mystery. How do you get onto the parole board.Victims are asked for

0:12:44 > 0:12:50their views of the release but we never quite know how much they

0:12:50 > 0:12:56figure in the final decision. And also victims in this case were not

0:12:56 > 0:13:04told at all. The Observer, Trump, I'm a very

0:13:04 > 0:13:13stable genius. Bigley. If you have said, you're probably not! He is

0:13:13 > 0:13:17lashing out because of this book. He does keep stories going by

0:13:17 > 0:13:25protesting about them.I know the journalists. Why was he allowed to

0:13:25 > 0:13:28hang around the White House. Along if they didn't think he was going to

0:13:28 > 0:13:35produce an article at least if not a book?Trump says he has never been

0:13:35 > 0:13:39interviewed by him, that he wasn't given access to the West Wing at

0:13:39 > 0:13:50all?Michael Wolff says he has.And dinner parties as well. All of that.

0:13:50 > 0:13:56One fantastically interesting thing, having been to New York, is it is

0:13:56 > 0:14:01like Donald Trump is on the apprentice everyday. There is a new

0:14:01 > 0:14:12reality show and he is the star.He lost it. He says I went to a very --

0:14:12 > 0:14:20from a very successful businessman to TV star and President on my first

0:14:20 > 0:14:26try.That would qualify as genius. The fact that he now knows that

0:14:26 > 0:14:29people are leaking stuff left right and centre in the White House and

0:14:29 > 0:14:36keynote that he is now saying that Michael Wolff didn't do the

0:14:36 > 0:14:42interviews and yet he has got so much evidence that he has

0:14:42 > 0:14:45gathered...You have a turnover of the very senior staff, what to

0:14:45 > 0:14:51expect?Sloppy Steve? This is something that every Prime Minister

0:14:51 > 0:14:55has to look at when they do a reshuffle. Everybody who gets thrown

0:14:55 > 0:14:59out, they talk to the newspapers the next week. Steve Bannon has

0:14:59 > 0:15:09obviously been a influence behind this book. He thinks he created this

0:15:09 > 0:15:18president and is very angry. I think that as long as we are talking about

0:15:18 > 0:15:24him, Donald does not mind. And when we have Brexit coming up, this is

0:15:24 > 0:15:27the front page, the President of the United States saying, I am very

0:15:27 > 0:15:37stable. I said he is a blip. Brexit is for ever.We can never get away

0:15:37 > 0:15:45from Trump or Brexit! We have proved that again tonight. Back again at

0:15:45 > 0:15:5311:30pm. Coming up next is Click.
