0:00:27 > 0:00:30- We've helped bring in investment - to Wales.

0:00:30 > 0:00:33- That work is under threat.

0:00:33 > 0:00:37- There is a steel crisis in the UK, - and Tata want to sell.

0:00:38 > 0:00:42- We've been working hard - behind the scenes for months...

0:00:42 > 0:00:47- ..to try to prevent a situation - where factories have to close.

0:00:47 > 0:00:49- But there is still uncertainty.

0:00:49 > 0:00:53- Plants in Port Talbot, Shotton, - Trostre and Llanwern...

0:00:53 > 0:00:54- ..are all under threat.

0:00:55 > 0:00:58- Now we need - the UK Government to help out.

0:00:58 > 0:01:00- When the banks went bust...

0:01:01 > 0:01:04- ..the UK Government - was there to pick up the pieces.

0:01:04 > 0:01:08- Now there is a case to see the same - response for our steel producers.

0:01:09 > 0:01:12- Steel must have a future in Wales - and the UK.

0:01:12 > 0:01:15- It would be a strategic disaster...

0:01:15 > 0:01:18- ..to become a country - that doesn't produce its own steel.

0:01:18 > 0:01:21- Are we seriously contemplating - a future...

0:01:21 > 0:01:25- ..where the UK spends billions - on our armed forces...

0:01:25 > 0:01:27- ..but where we lack the material...

0:01:27 > 0:01:30- ..to produce a single ship or plane - ourselves?

0:01:30 > 0:01:33- Let's face it, - we are talking about modern works...

0:01:34 > 0:01:36- ..producing world-class products.

0:01:36 > 0:01:41- With the right support, we can - get through this tough period.

0:01:41 > 0:01:45- We can't be distracted by those - who want to use this crisis...

0:01:45 > 0:01:49- ..as a stick - to beat the European Union.

0:01:49 > 0:01:53- We need a grown-up response - to a serious problem.

0:02:16 > 0:02:20- ..and reminding them of their - responsibility to the workers...

0:02:20 > 0:02:22- ..and the areas they operate in.

0:02:23 > 0:02:27- I'll shortly be meeting the - Prime Minister to impress on him...

0:02:27 > 0:02:31- ..the need for us to find a solution - for our steel industry.

0:02:32 > 0:02:37- Never has our slogan, - Together for Wales, meant so much.
