:00:17. > :00:22.I think she's got it wrong over the police cuts. I also think she's got

:00:23. > :00:26.it wrong over border guard cuts as well and indeed cuts to the Prison

:00:27. > :00:30.Service. I'm not sure that these comments have much legitimacy coming

:00:31. > :00:33.from someone like Jeremy Corbyn, someone who's called Hamas and

:00:34. > :00:37.Hezbollah as friends. I mean, to attack Theresa May on the issue of

:00:38. > :00:42.terrorism and it really is a weak point for Jeremy Corbyn. How do we

:00:43. > :00:47.sort it? How would you answer that issue? It's a long process actually.

:00:48. > :00:51.First we have to have politicians who're willing and have the courage

:00:52. > :00:56.to name what the problem is and it's Islamist extremism. Secondly, we

:00:57. > :00:59.need to reverse the cuts. Then we also have to get the Muslim

:01:00. > :01:04.community on side, we need to get them signed up to the Prevent

:01:05. > :01:07.programme. The fact only one out of eight referrals go to Prevent come

:01:08. > :01:11.from within the Muslim community itself is worrying. Do you know, I

:01:12. > :01:15.think the Government need to put forward some sort of investigation

:01:16. > :01:20.or inquiry into the Saudi and Qatari funding of mosques in this country

:01:21. > :01:24.because we know the Saudis and Qataris form radicalism around the

:01:25. > :01:29.globe. The police cuts, it's a wider issue, and there's something to

:01:30. > :01:32.answer there. Yes. The police respond and neutralised these people

:01:33. > :01:36.in eight minutes. Oh, brilliant effort by the police, saved many,

:01:37. > :01:40.many lives, however the fact that 20,000 police have been cut since

:01:41. > :01:43.2009 is wrong considering that we are obviously living in a more

:01:44. > :01:46.dangerous society now. And many of those cuts have been on the

:01:47. > :01:49.frontline. We are talking about bobbies on the beat, community

:01:50. > :01:54.police officers, and I think if people are going to give information

:01:55. > :01:57.about potential Jihadis add in their midst, they are more likely to give

:01:58. > :02:02.to it the bobby on the beat who they know. Let's reverse the cuts, go

:02:03. > :02:06.back to 2009, let's put 20,000 more bobbies on the beat. You started

:02:07. > :02:11.this election with your policy on FGM. Yes. A lot of people say that's

:02:12. > :02:16.provocative and will make things worse? Interestingly, the

:02:17. > :02:20.Conservatives and Theresa May, has spoken about FGM since this campaign

:02:21. > :02:27.started. It's a cultural practice, not a religious practice. In this

:02:28. > :02:32.country, there are 66,000 girls potentially at risk from this

:02:33. > :02:36.barbaric act. It's illegal in France, they are cutting down on it,

:02:37. > :02:42.they have mandatory checks, there have been over 150 prosecutions in

:02:43. > :02:47.France. It's been illegal here since the 80s, and there hasn't been one

:02:48. > :02:51.single prosecution. There have been instances of people coming over on

:02:52. > :02:54.Eurostar to perform these acts. There should be mandatory chief

:02:55. > :02:58.executive on girls who visit countries where this is commonplace.

:02:59. > :03:01.Finally, the opinion polls are going all over the place, do you feel this

:03:02. > :03:08.election and this issue is coming to you now? Well, obviously the issue

:03:09. > :03:11.of security is a big one. The issue of integration has gone up the list

:03:12. > :03:15.of importance during this election and we are the only party who have

:03:16. > :03:19.answers on this issue. We started the election talking about the need

:03:20. > :03:23.for communities to integrate and that is a way of preventing

:03:24. > :03:37.radicalisation and we have been proving right. Thank you.

:03:38. > :03:46.Surf Raj means right to vote. In 1986, the Daily Mail coined the term

:03:47. > :03:51.suffragettes originally about an insult about the women's movement

:03:52. > :03:54.who campaigned tirelessly for women to get the vote.
