5:24:21 > 5:24:25Our long-term economic plan is making Britain's economy stronger
5:24:25 > 5:24:27and more competitive -
5:24:27 > 5:24:30the deficit cut by over a third, a record number of people in work
5:24:30 > 5:24:32and we're predicted to be
5:24:32 > 5:24:35the fastest-growing major European economy this year.
5:24:35 > 5:24:38Locally, Conservative councils are providing high-quality services
5:24:38 > 5:24:41and keeping your council tax bill low -
5:24:41 > 5:24:45on average, £89 a year lower than Labour-controlled councils
5:24:45 > 5:24:48and £106 lower than Liberal Democrat-controlled councils.
5:24:48 > 5:24:53And we're backing local businesses with better infrastructure
5:24:53 > 5:24:56and lower jobs taxes, so they can create more jobs.
5:24:56 > 5:24:59We're working through our long-term economic plan at home
5:24:59 > 5:25:03and will work through our plan to deliver real change in Europe too.
5:25:03 > 5:25:07David Cameron, backed by a strong team of Conservative MEPs,
5:25:07 > 5:25:10has taken action to stand up for Britain,
5:25:10 > 5:25:11vetoing a new EU fiscal treaty
5:25:11 > 5:25:16that didn't guarantee a level playing field for British businesses...
5:25:16 > 5:25:19It's sometimes the right thing to say, "I'm afraid I cannot do that.
5:25:19 > 5:25:21"It's not in our national interest,
5:25:21 > 5:25:24"and so I'm going to say no and I'm going to exercise the veto."
5:25:24 > 5:25:26..taking Britain out of the Eurozone bailouts...
5:25:26 > 5:25:28Let me be clear once again,
5:25:28 > 5:25:31Britain will not invest in a eurozone bailout fund.
5:25:31 > 5:25:33That is not going to happen.
5:25:33 > 5:25:36..and cutting the EU budget for the first time in its history,
5:25:36 > 5:25:39saving British taxpayers over £8 billion.
5:25:39 > 5:25:41It isn't a time for tinkering,
5:25:41 > 5:25:45it isn't a time for moving money from one part of the budget to another.
5:25:45 > 5:25:47You know, we need unaffordable spending cut.
5:25:47 > 5:25:50That's what's happening at home, that's what needs to happen here.
5:25:50 > 5:25:54But we need to go further - if you want real change in Europe,
5:25:54 > 5:25:57you need to vote for a strong team of Conservative MEPs
5:25:57 > 5:26:01to fight our corner and bring powers back to Britain.
5:26:18 > 5:26:19I believe
5:26:19 > 5:26:23that you have the right to have your say on Europe,
5:26:23 > 5:26:27so when we have finished renegotiating Britain's relationship
5:26:27 > 5:26:29with the European Union, we will give you
5:26:29 > 5:26:35the final decision with an in-out referendum by the end of 2017.
5:26:35 > 5:26:38Labour and the Lib Dems oppose our plan.
5:26:38 > 5:26:42They won't stand up for Britain and they refuse to give you a say
