0:00:21 > 0:00:24Whilst the Government keeps telling people everything is fixed,

0:00:24 > 0:00:26many are finding that hard work

0:00:26 > 0:00:30no longer stops the pound in their pocket getting smaller, or the bills

0:00:30 > 0:00:32getting harder to afford. Under David Cameron,

0:00:32 > 0:00:37gas and electricity bills have increased by more than ?300

0:00:37 > 0:00:39for an average family, whilst the energy companies

0:00:39 > 0:00:41are making huge profits.

0:00:41 > 0:00:45Meanwhile childcare - not a luxury but an essential

0:00:45 > 0:00:47for millions of working families - gets harder to find

0:00:47 > 0:00:50and more expensive. Under David Cameron,

0:00:50 > 0:00:52the cost of a nursery place has risen 30%,

0:00:52 > 0:00:56and there are 500 fewer Sure Start centres

0:00:56 > 0:00:59and 35,000 fewer childcare places.

0:00:59 > 0:01:03Whilst claiming to be cutting taxes, David Cameron

0:01:03 > 0:01:06has put up taxes 24 times on hard-working families.

0:01:06 > 0:01:10His increase in VAT alone has cost the average family ?450

0:01:10 > 0:01:13by putting up the price of dozens of everyday essentials,

0:01:13 > 0:01:17a cost-of-living crisis for many working people.

0:01:17 > 0:01:19However, there is one group that he does care about.

0:01:19 > 0:01:23David Cameron's priority has been the most privileged,

0:01:23 > 0:01:24who have been handed huge tax cuts

0:01:24 > 0:01:27worth many thousands of pounds every year,

0:01:27 > 0:01:30while personal debt for ordinary families is rising

0:01:30 > 0:01:32and their wages continue to be squeezed.

0:01:32 > 0:01:35And now the Tories are planning another tax giveaway

0:01:35 > 0:01:37for the top 1% of earners.

0:01:37 > 0:01:40Thanks to the Liberal Democrats, the average young person

0:01:40 > 0:01:43is now going to leave university

0:01:43 > 0:01:46weighed down with more than ?30,000 in student debts and loans.

0:01:46 > 0:01:49Some of them will take more than 20 years to pay it off.

0:01:49 > 0:01:53That's a lifetime of debt before they have even started work,

0:01:53 > 0:01:56and all because the Liberal Democrats wouldn't keep their promises.

0:01:56 > 0:01:59All because every day Nick Clegg is propping up a Tory government.

0:01:59 > 0:02:02No wonder young people are finding it harder than ever

0:02:02 > 0:02:03to get on the housing ladder.

0:02:05 > 0:02:08Under David Cameron and Nick Clegg, the average working person

0:02:08 > 0:02:11is a shocking ?1,600 worse off a year.

0:02:11 > 0:02:14Dealing with this government's cost-of-living crisis
