0:00:12 > 0:00:16Jim Allister is a man who gets things done.

0:00:16 > 0:00:19When last he served Northern Ireland in Europe,

0:00:19 > 0:00:22the TaxPayers' Alliance named him

0:00:22 > 0:00:25as the best MEP from the whole of the UK.

0:00:25 > 0:00:30In Stormont, he was declared the best MLA by BBC's The View programme.

0:00:31 > 0:00:35Though a single voice, he delivered Ann's Law,

0:00:35 > 0:00:36to bar convicted terrorists

0:00:36 > 0:00:40from £90,000-a-year Special Adviser posts -

0:00:40 > 0:00:43the first victory in years for innocent victims,

0:00:43 > 0:00:46and the first defeat in years for Sinn Fein.

0:00:46 > 0:00:50He championed a campaign against the odious Maze shrine project

0:00:50 > 0:00:54that forced a momentous DUP U-turn.

0:00:54 > 0:00:56A proven friend of innocent victims,

0:00:56 > 0:01:00he secured equality in pension rights for RUC widows.

0:01:00 > 0:01:02And, as he promised,

0:01:02 > 0:01:07he has been a constant thorn in the side of Sinn Fein/DUP misrule,

0:01:07 > 0:01:11providing the only effective opposition in Stormont.

0:01:11 > 0:01:14This is a man who can deliver.

0:01:14 > 0:01:19As with most things, on the EU Jim Allister has a very clear view.

0:01:20 > 0:01:23The EU is not delivering for the United Kingdom.

0:01:23 > 0:01:31As a nation, we pour £17 billion every year into Brussels.

0:01:31 > 0:01:34We get back less than half.

0:01:34 > 0:01:37So the net cost to you, the UK taxpayer,

0:01:37 > 0:01:42is a staggering £24 million a day.

0:01:42 > 0:01:46£1 million for every hour.

0:01:46 > 0:01:51In addition, the EU robs us of the right to make our own decisions

0:01:51 > 0:01:53on such vital matters as immigration,

0:01:53 > 0:01:56trade agreements and social policy.

0:01:56 > 0:02:00I believe in the political unity, prosperity

0:02:00 > 0:02:02and independence of the United Kingdom.

0:02:02 > 0:02:05Not in Brussels diktats.

0:02:05 > 0:02:08I believe we'd be better off out.

0:02:08 > 0:02:11I support an early referendum.

0:02:11 > 0:02:16So long as we remain in Europe, Jim Allister will defend our corner.

0:02:16 > 0:02:20He has a proven record of tenaciously fighting for our farming,

0:02:20 > 0:02:24fishing and consumer interests in Brussels.

0:02:24 > 0:02:26He's ready to do it again.

0:02:26 > 0:02:30Northern Ireland needs the strong voice that Jim Allister can provide.

0:02:30 > 0:02:33But he'll not be lost to us in local politics.

0:02:33 > 0:02:37Keeping pressure on Sinn Fein is his speciality.

0:02:37 > 0:02:42Some who keep Sinn Fein in power like to pretend at election time

0:02:42 > 0:02:47that only a first-preference vote for them will keep Sinn Fein at bay.

0:02:47 > 0:02:50Such nonsense.

0:02:50 > 0:02:55You can safely vote number 1 for your Unionist of choice,

0:02:55 > 0:03:00and then use your other preferences for further Unionist candidates.

0:03:00 > 0:03:03That way, the vote is actually maximised.

0:03:03 > 0:03:09My mission in politics is to stand strong for what is right.

0:03:09 > 0:03:13Whether in Belfast or Brussels, it's principle before power.

0:03:13 > 0:03:15For too many in politics,

0:03:15 > 0:03:20it's all about doing or saying whatever it takes to cling to power.

0:03:20 > 0:03:25I hope I've demonstrated that TUV is different.

0:03:25 > 0:03:29In Stormont, you've seen what one determined voice can achieve.

0:03:29 > 0:03:32In Brussels, you can have the same.

0:03:32 > 0:03:34In this election,

0:03:34 > 0:03:38you have the opportunity to improve your representation in Brussels,

0:03:38 > 0:03:39and at the same time

0:03:39 > 0:03:43to pass your verdict on the dismal performance of Stormont.

0:03:43 > 0:03:48If you want your disapproval to be heard, then vote for me.

0:03:48 > 0:03:54I want durable devolution - proper democracy with an opposition.

0:03:54 > 0:04:00Devolution that works. Not constant deadlock and division.

0:04:00 > 0:04:04My vision for this generation and the next

0:04:04 > 0:04:08is a strong United Kingdom, free from the shackles of Brussels,

0:04:08 > 0:04:13and a strong Northern Ireland, free from the shackles of terrorism

0:04:13 > 0:04:17and pandering to terrorism, such as we've seen in Stormont

0:04:17 > 0:04:20and in the "on-the-run" scandal.

0:04:21 > 0:04:26You can greatly strengthen my hand by voting TUV in this election.

0:04:26 > 0:04:29Let us together take a stand for principled politics,

0:04:29 > 0:04:31at home and abroad.

0:04:35 > 0:04:38In this European election -

0:04:38 > 0:04:41vote 1, vote for Jim Allister.
