0:00:19 > 0:00:21The difficult decisions we've taken

0:00:21 > 0:00:25have made Britain's economy stronger and more competitive:

0:00:25 > 0:00:27our deficit cut by a third,

0:00:27 > 0:00:29a record number of people in work,

0:00:29 > 0:00:31and we're predicted to be

0:00:31 > 0:00:34the fastest-growing economy in the G7 this year.

0:00:34 > 0:00:38We're working through our long-term economic plan at home

0:00:38 > 0:00:43and we'll work through our plan to deliver real change in Europe too.

0:00:43 > 0:00:46David Cameron, backed by a strong team of Conservative MEPs,

0:00:46 > 0:00:49has taken action to stand up for Britain:

0:00:49 > 0:00:51Vetoing a new EU fiscal treaty

0:00:51 > 0:00:55that didn't guarantee a level playing field for British businesses.

0:00:55 > 0:00:57It's sometimes the right thing to say,

0:00:57 > 0:01:00"I'm afraid I cannot do that, it's not in our national interest,

0:01:00 > 0:01:03"and so I'm going to say no and I'm going to exercise the veto."

0:01:03 > 0:01:06Taking Britain out of the eurozone bailouts.

0:01:06 > 0:01:07Let me be clear, once again,

0:01:07 > 0:01:10Britain will not invest in a eurozone bailout fund,

0:01:10 > 0:01:12that is not going to happen.

0:01:12 > 0:01:15And cutting the EU budget for the first time in its history,

0:01:15 > 0:01:18saving British taxpayers over £8 billion.

0:01:18 > 0:01:20It isn't a time for tinkering,

0:01:20 > 0:01:22it isn't a time for moving money

0:01:22 > 0:01:24from one part of the budget to another.

0:01:24 > 0:01:26You know, we need unaffordable spending cut,

0:01:26 > 0:01:29that's what's happening at home, that's what needs to happen here.

0:01:29 > 0:01:31But we need to go further.

0:01:31 > 0:01:33If you want real change in Europe

0:01:33 > 0:01:37you need to vote for a strong team of Conservative MEPs

0:01:37 > 0:01:40to fight our corner and bring powers back to Britain.

0:01:40 > 0:01:44Taking back control of justice and home affairs.

0:01:44 > 0:01:48Keeping control of our borders and cracking down on benefit tourism.

0:01:48 > 0:01:50Getting a better deal for British taxpayers.

0:01:50 > 0:01:54Securing more trade but stopping 'ever closer union'.

0:01:54 > 0:01:56And giving the British people

0:01:56 > 0:01:58an in-out referendum in 2017.

0:01:58 > 0:02:02I believe that you have the right to have your say on Europe.

0:02:02 > 0:02:03So when we've finished

0:02:03 > 0:02:07renegotiating Britain's relationship with the European Union,

0:02:07 > 0:02:09we will give you the final decision

0:02:09 > 0:02:13with an in-out referendum by the end of 2017.

0:02:13 > 0:02:16Labour and the Lib Dems oppose our plan.

0:02:16 > 0:02:19They won't stand up for Britain, and they refuse to give you a say.

0:02:19 > 0:02:21And Plaid Cymru and UKIP

0:02:21 > 0:02:24simply can't deliver on anything they promise.

0:02:24 > 0:02:28Only the Conservatives will stand up for Wales, and for Britain,

0:02:28 > 0:02:30and let you have your say.

0:02:30 > 0:02:34Only by voting Conservative on May the 22nd

0:02:34 > 0:02:36can you get real change in Europe.
