4:16:20 > 4:16:24Britain has voted for Brexit and we are leaving the European Union.

4:16:24 > 4:16:27The question is what kind of Brexit it's going to be.

4:16:27 > 4:16:32The Tories want a mandate for a Brexit which will put jobs at risk.

4:16:32 > 4:16:36Labour's plan for Brexit puts living standards and communities first.

4:16:36 > 4:16:39People across Britain are wary of politicians saying one thing

4:16:39 > 4:16:42and doing another so when a Tory leader asks

4:16:42 > 4:16:45for a landslide majority, we need to ask ourselves why.

4:16:45 > 4:16:48Is it really for the national interest, as she claims?

4:16:48 > 4:16:51Or because she wants to force through a Brexit

4:16:51 > 4:16:53that benefits the rich and big business?

4:16:53 > 4:16:56Of course, negotiating Brexit will be tough.

4:16:56 > 4:16:58Some in Brussels will try to seize their chance to gain

4:16:58 > 4:17:02at Britain's expense so we will need to be firm

4:17:02 > 4:17:04and fight for the best deal for Britain.

4:17:04 > 4:17:08But if we expect the Tories to stand up for us, we need to think again

4:17:08 > 4:17:12cos the party that closed down huge chunks of British industry

4:17:12 > 4:17:15under Margaret Thatcher hasn't changed its spots.

4:17:15 > 4:17:18Just ask the steelworkers in Teesside.

4:17:18 > 4:17:22When they faced closure, the Tories let them down.

4:17:22 > 4:17:26There's a choice in this election between a Labour Brexit

4:17:26 > 4:17:29that will put jobs first or a Tory Brexit

4:17:29 > 4:17:31geared to the interests of the City

4:17:31 > 4:17:33that would plug Britain into the race to the bottom

4:17:33 > 4:17:36on wages and public services.

4:17:36 > 4:17:39And with nearly half of all our exports going to Europe,

4:17:39 > 4:17:41there's a lot at stake.

4:17:41 > 4:17:44Britain needs maximum access to Europe's single market

4:17:44 > 4:17:46to protect hundreds of thousands of jobs.

4:17:46 > 4:17:49Labour's Brexit team is ready to fight for us in Brussels.

4:17:49 > 4:17:52Labour wants a "jobs first" Brexit

4:17:52 > 4:17:55and to guarantee and expand the rights and protection

4:17:55 > 4:17:58British workers have secured through EU legislation.

4:17:58 > 4:18:02Labour will not allow our country to be worse off as a result of Brexit.

4:18:02 > 4:18:06Leaving the EU will mean the end of free movement of workers

4:18:06 > 4:18:08between Europe and Britain.

4:18:08 > 4:18:11But Labour won't allow EU citizens already settled here

4:18:11 > 4:18:13to be used as a bargaining chip,

4:18:13 > 4:18:16just as they will fight for British citizens living in Europe.

4:18:16 > 4:18:20Labour's new rules for managing immigration will be fair

4:18:20 > 4:18:22and based on what's best for the economy.

4:18:22 > 4:18:25The choice in this election is not between Brexit or no Brexit.

4:18:25 > 4:18:27That issue is settled.

4:18:27 > 4:18:31The choice is who we trust to fight for our future.

4:18:31 > 4:18:35And what sort of country we want Britain to be.

4:18:35 > 4:18:37Labour has a plan to transform Britain.

4:18:37 > 4:18:41A Labour government will invest in infrastructure and new industries.

4:18:41 > 4:18:43It would develop a high-skill, high-wage economy

4:18:43 > 4:18:46and build new trading partnerships.

4:18:46 > 4:18:50Under Jeremy Corbyn, Labour will build a fairer Britain.

4:18:50 > 4:18:53A Britain for the many.

4:18:53 > 4:18:55Not the few.
