3:33:16 > 3:33:20It was a place where everybody cared for everybody else.
3:33:20 > 3:33:24It was cleaner, because we all worked together.

3:33:26 > 3:33:30We don't want these communities to keep on dying on their feet.
3:33:30 > 3:33:34Let's get some money into them, let's reinvigorate them.

3:34:15 > 3:34:20and the conditions was terrible, because you had to wait to the
3:34:20 > 3:34:24night before and wait for a text to see if you were on a shift
3:34:24 > 3:34:26or if you weren't on a shift.
3:34:26 > 3:34:30So you had to wait for them to get in contact with you
3:34:30 > 3:34:33to see if you were going to be out the next day working or not.
3:34:33 > 3:34:37I'm an electrician, I mainly work on the building sites in the city,
3:34:37 > 3:34:40any large industrial site, office block refurbs.
3:34:43 > 3:34:46I get work constantly just through agencies.
3:34:46 > 3:34:48Agency is the only way I can get work now.
3:34:48 > 3:34:52That means that I've no employment rights, I can be laid off
3:34:52 > 3:34:56any time, I don't get overtime rates of pay.
3:34:56 > 3:34:58I'm a care worker.
3:34:58 > 3:35:00We don't get paid for our travel.
3:35:00 > 3:35:02Yeah?
3:35:02 > 3:35:05We go from client to client. We're out from, let's say,
3:35:05 > 3:35:08eight in the morning. We could be out till nine at night.
3:35:08 > 3:35:11But we are only doing, like, maybe five jobs.
3:35:11 > 3:35:16Everybody, whatever their contract, will have equal rights at work -
3:35:16 > 3:35:19sick pay, holiday pay and a real living wage.
3:35:19 > 3:35:22We will end zero-hours contracts.
3:35:22 > 3:35:25No-one will be forced into bogus self-employment.
3:35:25 > 3:35:30The minimum wage will be a real living wage of £10 an hour.
3:35:30 > 3:35:33But the big news will be the National Investment Bank.
3:35:33 > 3:35:36This will bring sustainable industries and secure jobs
3:35:36 > 3:35:40to the areas that have been neglected for far too long.
3:35:40 > 3:35:44No matter how you measure it, no other European country
3:35:44 > 3:35:46has the kind of inequality we have.
3:35:46 > 3:35:49There is nowhere else in Europe where the rich are so greedy,
3:35:49 > 3:35:51where they take such a large share of everything there is to be
3:35:51 > 3:35:53shared out.
3:35:53 > 3:35:55Our education system is the most unequal education system
3:35:55 > 3:35:57in Europe.
3:35:57 > 3:35:59Our housing has become the most expensive in Europe
3:35:59 > 3:36:01for the lowest-quality housing.
3:36:01 > 3:36:05We have some of the lowest-paid jobs and the most precarious jobs
3:36:05 > 3:36:07and the lowest rights.
3:36:07 > 3:36:10Nowhere and no-one should be held back.
3:36:10 > 3:36:15Labour will bring real jobs, security and hope.
3:36:15 > 3:36:18And we'll make a fairer society, too.

3:36:48 > 3:36:51where the most vulnerable are driven into poverty
3:36:51 > 3:36:54and many more have a struggle to get by.
3:36:54 > 3:36:57Don't be put off by some of the trivia in the media
3:36:57 > 3:36:59in this election.
3:36:59 > 3:37:01Labour stands with you, the people.
3:37:01 > 3:37:04Let's work together, so that all can live with security,
3:37:04 > 3:37:07in peace and dignity.
