0:00:06 > 0:00:09Seeing the devastating effects of Tory cuts,
0:00:09 > 0:00:13with a total lack of opposition from Labour, it made me really angry.
0:00:13 > 0:00:17And then I thought, why not stand and make a difference locally?
0:00:17 > 0:00:20I'm a mother of three young children and I'm standing for Plaid
0:00:20 > 0:00:25because I know that Plaid will look after my children's future.
0:00:25 > 0:00:26Plaid Cymru is a grassroots movement.
0:00:26 > 0:00:28It works tirelessly to ensure a better,
0:00:28 > 0:00:31more prosperous future for Wales.
0:00:31 > 0:00:34And that's why I and so many young people are standing this year,
0:00:34 > 0:00:36because we wholeheartedly believe that Plaid Cymru is the only
0:00:36 > 0:00:40party that has always, does always and will always,
0:00:40 > 0:00:43put the future of Wales, its people and the next generation
0:00:43 > 0:00:44above all else.
0:00:44 > 0:00:46I'm standing as a Plaid Cymru candidate,
0:00:46 > 0:00:48Plaid Cymru because I feel it's for everyone,
0:00:48 > 0:00:50everyone of every age, every background
0:00:50 > 0:00:52and, of course, every sex.
0:00:52 > 0:00:55I think it's really important that we get a cross-party,
0:00:55 > 0:00:57so that every person can be represented fairly.
0:00:57 > 0:01:01People are sick and tired of councillors, other parties,
0:01:01 > 0:01:05coming into our communities, promising the world,
0:01:05 > 0:01:07they get elected but don't do nothing and all that promise
0:01:07 > 0:01:09is just evaporated into hot air.
0:01:09 > 0:01:14What they need is councillors coming into the community, listening
0:01:14 > 0:01:18to the community and actually doing, delivering for the communities.
0:01:45 > 0:01:49I'm voting Plaid Cymru on May 4 to protect Gwynedd from the
0:01:49 > 0:01:51harsh Tory cuts from the Government and also from the
0:01:51 > 0:01:54unsympathetic London Labour Party in Cardiff.
0:01:54 > 0:01:57I'm voting Plaid because I feel they're the party that
0:01:57 > 0:02:00listens and they're all about inclusivity and diversity.
0:02:00 > 0:02:03I've had enough of cuts to public services that mean that they
0:02:03 > 0:02:06can barely function. I've had enough of the most vulnerable people
0:02:06 > 0:02:09within our community being blamed for these cuts.
0:02:09 > 0:02:13I'm standing for Plaid Cymru because I want rural voices to be heard.
0:02:13 > 0:02:17In Plaid-led councils, we have a track record of strong and
0:02:17 > 0:02:21responsible leadership in very challenging times.
0:02:21 > 0:02:22This is my community,
0:02:22 > 0:02:26these are my people, and here is where I want to make a difference.
0:02:26 > 0:02:30We need to build more affordable and social housing, so that
0:02:30 > 0:02:34everybody has the opportunity of a decent home to live in.
0:02:34 > 0:02:38I've been a member of Plaid Cymru all my life and I believe
0:02:38 > 0:02:43that they are the only party that can look after our services and our communities.
0:02:43 > 0:02:46People in my community are fed up with seeing investment
0:02:46 > 0:02:51concentrated elsewhere time after time. We deserve our fair share.
0:02:51 > 0:02:54Strong local government is essential in counteracting poor
0:02:54 > 0:02:57policies being handed down from central government.
0:02:59 > 0:03:02Plaid Cymru is your local party.
0:03:02 > 0:03:05Plaid Cymru people are your people.
0:03:05 > 0:03:09On May 4, send a clear message to the governments in both
0:03:09 > 0:03:13London and Cardiff that you will no longer be ignored.
0:03:13 > 0:03:16Vote Plaid Cymru.
0:03:17 > 0:03:20Let's stand together, let's make our voices heard.
0:03:20 > 0:03:22Politicians are not all the same.
0:03:22 > 0:03:25Vote Plaid to see the difference.
0:03:25 > 0:03:28I believe that Plaid Cymru is the party of strong communities.
0:03:28 > 0:03:30Plaid Cymru, your local party.
0:03:30 > 0:03:34There is an alternative and it's called Plaid Cymru,
0:03:34 > 0:03:36the Party of Wales.
