0:00:43 > 0:00:47At this election, the Scottish Conservatives are making it clear.

0:00:51 > 0:00:53Well, people in Scotland have had enough
0:00:53 > 0:00:56of the debate on independence. It's dragging us back.
0:00:56 > 0:00:59What we all now need to do is move on, so that we can focus on

0:01:02 > 0:01:05One of the reasons we oppose a second referendum is
0:01:05 > 0:01:08it's stopping Scotland from tackling the issues that really matter.
0:01:08 > 0:01:11It's not just about keeping the United Kingdom together,
0:01:11 > 0:01:13it's about moving Scotland forward as well.
0:01:13 > 0:01:15One thing you can be sure about,
0:01:15 > 0:01:18if you vote for a Scottish Conservative councillor,
0:01:18 > 0:01:21is that they are going to be rock solid in keeping our decision
0:01:21 > 0:01:24to stay in the UK and that means we can get on with our lives
0:01:24 > 0:01:27without having to worry about another referendum.
0:01:27 > 0:01:30This focus is vital.
0:01:30 > 0:01:33Under the SNP, standards in schools are slipping.
0:01:36 > 0:01:40Yet the SNP Government's attention is elsewhere -
0:01:40 > 0:01:44on a second referendum most people in Scotland don't want.
0:01:46 > 0:01:49On its own constitutional plans, not the day job.
0:01:51 > 0:01:54And to make things worse, Labour's Jeremy Corbyn has said
0:01:54 > 0:01:58he won't block a second referendum if the SNP demand one.
0:01:58 > 0:02:02'Scottish Conservatives in local government won't stand for this.
0:02:02 > 0:02:06'We'll get Scotland focused back onto what really matters.'
0:02:06 > 0:02:09Politics is always about what's important,
0:02:09 > 0:02:12that's why my message at these elections is simple -
0:02:12 > 0:02:16vote for me and my candidates and we can send the SNP a message.
0:02:16 > 0:02:18No to yet further uncertainty and division,
0:02:18 > 0:02:22and yes to your local school and your local services.
0:02:22 > 0:02:24So, please, on the 4th of May,
0:02:24 > 0:02:28vote Scottish Conservative and let's put Scotland back on track.
