0:00:14 > 0:00:14and that's what we should be focusing on for our future.
0:00:16 > 0:00:17Since the Independence referendum,
0:00:17 > 0:00:20friendships and families have been divided.
0:00:20 > 0:00:23We've seen so much division. So much of the politics of "us" and "them".
0:00:23 > 0:00:26You can no longer have a healthy conversation about politics.
0:00:26 > 0:00:28It's now become a thing that you just don't talk about
0:00:28 > 0:00:30if you don't want to start an argument.
0:00:30 > 0:00:32Other Scots looked at you in a different way,
0:00:32 > 0:00:35just because you chose a different vision for your country.
0:00:35 > 0:00:37We've spent too many years obsessing
0:00:37 > 0:00:38over the differences that divide us
0:00:38 > 0:00:41and we've not achieved anything greater within that time.
0:00:41 > 0:00:44I'm from the Western Isles and I've had lots of friends and family
0:00:44 > 0:00:48have to move away from the island to find work on the mainland.
0:00:48 > 0:00:51It's become a particular problem for young people in Scotland today.
0:00:51 > 0:00:54We need a government that's focused on creating jobs
0:00:54 > 0:00:56all across the country, no matter where you live.
0:00:56 > 0:00:58Politics is already so polarised,
0:00:58 > 0:01:01and the attention's taken away from places where it should be.
0:01:01 > 0:01:02As a medical student,
0:01:02 > 0:01:05you do see the struggles of the healthcare service.
0:01:05 > 0:01:07I work as a domestic at St John's in Livingston.
0:01:07 > 0:01:11It's sad to see one of our greatest assets as a country
0:01:11 > 0:01:13just left at the side of the agenda.
0:01:13 > 0:01:17When the NHS works, it changes people's lives.
0:01:17 > 0:01:19It's such an important part of being Scottish.
0:01:19 > 0:01:21Right now, I'm training to be a teacher
0:01:21 > 0:01:23because if my teachers weren't there for me,
0:01:23 > 0:01:26then I would've probably fallen through the railings.
0:01:26 > 0:01:29Education is the most powerful weapon that a country can ever use,
0:01:29 > 0:01:31and that's why I think it's so important
0:01:31 > 0:01:33that we invest in it instead of cutting it.
0:01:33 > 0:01:36Unity means pulling together for the benefit of everyone,
0:01:36 > 0:01:39despite where someone comes from or what they look like.
0:01:39 > 0:01:42The world is changing so quickly that it's more important than ever
0:01:42 > 0:01:43that Scotland's voice is heard.
0:01:43 > 0:01:46The best way to achieve this is as part of the UK,
0:01:46 > 0:01:49but still allowing the decisions that affect Scotland the most
0:01:49 > 0:01:51to be taken in the Scottish Parliament.
0:01:51 > 0:01:53We're divided enough. We need to unite now.
0:01:53 > 0:01:55We need to see what's best for Scotland.
0:01:55 > 0:01:58There's far more that we agree on than what we disagree on
0:01:58 > 0:02:01and that's what we should be focusing on for our future.
0:02:01 > 0:02:03Scotland is stronger as a nation when we work together.
0:02:03 > 0:02:06Just look at what we've achieved in the past -
0:02:06 > 0:02:09the NHS, the minimum wage, the Scottish Parliament -
0:02:09 > 0:02:13all things won against the odds because we chose to stand as one.
0:02:13 > 0:02:16We have an opportunity now to create a nation that we all want.
0:02:16 > 0:02:19We all voted for a better Scotland. Let's make one.
0:02:19 > 0:02:21At the elections on May 4th,
0:02:21 > 0:02:23a vote for Labour is a vote against dividing our country
0:02:23 > 0:02:25with another referendum.
0:02:25 > 0:02:28It's a vote for more investment in our schools
0:02:28 > 0:02:31and to stop cuts to local NHS services.
0:02:31 > 0:02:34Now, more than ever, Scotland needs to focus on creating jobs,
0:02:34 > 0:02:38growing our economy and increasing family income -
0:02:38 > 0:02:40not calling for another referendum.
0:02:40 > 0:02:42Our country is divided enough.
0:02:42 > 0:02:44Together we're stronger.
0:02:44 > 0:02:46On May 4th, vote Labour.
