0:00:28 > 0:00:32In the early days of a new business, it's tough going.

0:00:36 > 0:00:40That's why the DUP wants to help business.

0:00:40 > 0:00:42It was our ministers who introduced

0:00:42 > 0:00:44the Small Business Rates Relief Scheme,

0:00:44 > 0:00:48helping 25,000 businesses.

0:00:53 > 0:00:55We're opening up new markets

0:00:55 > 0:00:58and we're challenging the banks to improve lending.

0:00:58 > 0:01:03In our health service, nurses, doctors and support staff

0:01:03 > 0:01:04work around the clock.

0:01:04 > 0:01:08In many cases, they go beyond the call of duty.

0:01:08 > 0:01:14That's why we've recruited 500 extra nurses to ease the pressure.

0:01:16 > 0:01:20We're spending £75 million on the hospital in Omagh.

0:01:20 > 0:01:23£56 million on a cancer unit in Londonderry.

0:01:23 > 0:01:28And over £200 million on the Ulster Hospital.

0:01:28 > 0:01:32We've also introduced reforms to cut waiting times.

0:01:37 > 0:01:40At schools all over Northern Ireland,

0:01:40 > 0:01:44teachers work hard, educating our young people.

0:01:44 > 0:01:47That's why we're fighting for school budgets.

0:01:47 > 0:01:51That's why we've recruited 200 extra graduate teachers

0:01:51 > 0:01:54to help improve numeracy and literacy.

0:01:55 > 0:01:59Our universities and students are working hard, too.

0:01:59 > 0:02:03That's why we've frozen university fees.

0:02:03 > 0:02:07We're working hard to keep our brightest and best

0:02:07 > 0:02:09in Northern Ireland.

0:02:09 > 0:02:14We don't forget the young families who are working hard

0:02:14 > 0:02:17to pay their mortgage. We know childcare is expensive.

0:02:17 > 0:02:21That's why we're investing £10 million,

0:02:21 > 0:02:25creating 8,000 affordable childcare places.

0:02:25 > 0:02:28We've also ensured Northern Ireland has the lowest household taxes

0:02:28 > 0:02:30in the United Kingdom.

0:02:30 > 0:02:34The DUP has always stood up for our elderly.

0:02:34 > 0:02:39It was our ministers who introduced free travel for older people.

0:02:49 > 0:02:52Whether it's in Westminster, Brussels, Stormont

0:02:52 > 0:02:54or your local government council,

0:02:54 > 0:02:57the DUP is working hard to keep Northern Ireland moving forward.

0:02:57 > 0:03:01This weekend, I'll join with hundreds of other DUP members

0:03:07 > 0:03:11Over the next two days, we'll discuss matters such as jobs, housing,

0:03:11 > 0:03:13education, health, dealing with the past

0:03:13 > 0:03:16and a raft of other policy issues.

0:03:16 > 0:03:19As poll after poll shows that the Union is safe,

0:03:19 > 0:03:22we know there's no need to fight old battles.

0:03:22 > 0:03:25The real battle for people is making Northern Ireland

0:03:25 > 0:03:27the very best that it can be.

0:03:27 > 0:03:30We're the only party with representation in Europe,

0:03:30 > 0:03:33Westminster, Stormont and local councils.

0:03:33 > 0:03:36Together, we work hard to get the best deal for Northern Ireland.
