0:03:33 > 0:03:37Whilst the Government keeps telling people everything is fixed,

0:03:37 > 0:03:39many are finding that hard work

0:03:39 > 0:03:43no longer stops the pound in their pocket getting smaller, or the bills

0:03:43 > 0:03:45getting harder to afford. Under David Cameron,

0:03:45 > 0:03:50gas and electricity bills have increased by more than £300

0:03:50 > 0:03:52for an average family, whilst the energy companies

0:03:52 > 0:03:53are making huge profits.

0:03:54 > 0:03:58Meanwhile childcare - not a luxury but an essential

0:03:58 > 0:04:00for millions of working families - gets harder to find

0:04:00 > 0:04:03and more expensive. Under David Cameron,

0:04:03 > 0:04:05the cost of a nursery place has risen 30%,

0:04:05 > 0:04:09and there are 500 fewer Sure Start centres

0:04:09 > 0:04:12and 35,000 fewer childcare places.

0:04:12 > 0:04:16Whilst claiming to be cutting taxes, David Cameron

0:04:16 > 0:04:19has put up taxes 24 times on hardworking families.

0:04:19 > 0:04:23His increase in VAT alone has cost the average family £450

0:04:23 > 0:04:26by putting up the price of dozens of everyday essentials,

0:04:26 > 0:04:30a cost-of-living crisis for many working people.

0:04:30 > 0:04:32However, there is one group that he does care about.

0:04:32 > 0:04:36David Cameron's priority has been the most privileged,

0:04:36 > 0:04:37who have been handed huge tax cuts

0:04:37 > 0:04:40worth many thousands of pounds every year,

0:04:40 > 0:04:43while personal debt for ordinary families is rising

0:04:43 > 0:04:45and their wages continue to be squeezed.

0:04:45 > 0:04:48And now the Tories are planning another tax giveaway

0:04:48 > 0:04:51for the top 1% of earners.

0:04:51 > 0:04:53Thanks to the Liberal Democrats, the average young person

0:04:53 > 0:04:55is now going to leave university

0:04:55 > 0:04:59weighed down with more than £30,000 in student debts and loans.

0:04:59 > 0:05:02Some of them will take more than 20 years to pay it off.

0:05:02 > 0:05:06That's a lifetime of debt before they have even started work,

0:05:06 > 0:05:09and all because the Liberal Democrats wouldn't keep their promises.

0:05:09 > 0:05:12All because every day Nick Clegg is propping up a Tory government.

0:05:12 > 0:05:15No wonder young people are finding it harder than ever

0:05:15 > 0:05:16to get on the housing ladder.

0:05:18 > 0:05:21Under David Cameron and Nick Clegg, the average working person

0:05:21 > 0:05:24is a shocking £1,600 worse off a year.

0:05:24 > 0:05:27Dealing with this government's cost-of-living crisis

0:05:27 > 0:05:29has never been so important.

0:05:29 > 0:05:32Britain can do much better than this.

0:05:32 > 0:05:36Britain should work for hardworking people, not just a privileged few.
