5:02:23 > 5:02:27And while the funding for our schools and hospitals is being cut,
5:02:27 > 5:02:31many of the largest companies and wealthiest individuals
5:02:31 > 5:02:34are dodging their taxes.
5:02:34 > 5:02:36WHISTLING CONTINUES
5:02:40 > 5:02:43And the tax dodgers are getting away with it
5:02:43 > 5:02:46because the Conservatives let them.
5:02:46 > 5:02:48The Tory tax system is rigged...
5:02:50 > 5:02:52..fixed in favour of the wealthiest,
5:02:52 > 5:02:55letting them dodge billions in taxes.
5:02:56 > 5:02:59And while the tax dodgers have seen their fortunes grow...
5:03:01 > 5:03:03..for most of the rest of us,
5:03:03 > 5:03:09the value of our pay has fallen or been frozen, year after year.
5:03:11 > 5:03:14The Tories have allowed the tax dodgers to use loopholes
5:03:14 > 5:03:16to avoid paying their fair share...
5:03:19 > 5:03:23..while we have had to watch our NHS tip into crisis...
5:03:24 > 5:03:27..and social care on the verge of collapse.
5:03:29 > 5:03:33While the tax dodgers have filled their bank accounts,
5:03:33 > 5:03:37over a million people have been forced to turn to food banks
5:03:37 > 5:03:38to feed their families.
5:03:38 > 5:03:40It doesn't have to be this way.
5:03:43 > 5:03:46We don't have to accept things the way they are.
5:03:46 > 5:03:49The Labour Party will do things differently.
5:03:51 > 5:03:54Labour will make sure that our country gets the taxes we need...
5:03:56 > 5:03:59..by making all the big corporations
5:03:59 > 5:04:00and the highest earners
5:04:00 > 5:04:03start paying their fair share.
5:04:03 > 5:04:05And, along with that,
5:04:05 > 5:04:08we'll raise the minimum wage to a real living wage
5:04:08 > 5:04:10of £10 an hour,
5:04:10 > 5:04:14calling time on the fat cats making millions out of low pay.
5:04:15 > 5:04:20We'll take the private corporations out of our NHS and our railways
5:04:20 > 5:04:24so that they're run for people, not just for profit.
5:04:24 > 5:04:27And we'll tackle the housing crisis head-on
5:04:27 > 5:04:30by investing in a million new homes.
5:04:30 > 5:04:32Because if we're going to get a fairer Britain...
5:04:33 > 5:04:36..we have to build a fairer economy.
