:00:12. > :00:16.Everyday, normal things that everybody does is where I use my

:00:17. > :00:19.energy. I haven't got an extravagant lifestyle, I haven't got a hot tub

:00:20. > :00:23.outside or anything like that. It's just a normal house. In essence, it

:00:24. > :00:27.is a choice between heating and eating. We will still eat, we will

:00:28. > :00:32.still have heating, it's just maybe the quality of the food that we eat

:00:33. > :00:38.may not be as good as what we're eating at the moment. Hot water and

:00:39. > :00:42.a comfortable living environment are things that you should be providing

:00:43. > :00:46.for your children, for your child. You know in your head it's not

:00:47. > :00:51.normal to put your child in a fleecy baby-grow and jumper to go to bed.

:00:52. > :00:54.Or to go to bed at six or seven o'clock in the evening, because you

:00:55. > :01:01.have nothing else to do, nothing to entertain yourself with and the flat

:01:02. > :01:05.is cold and dark. I know it's going to be another winter where I'm going

:01:06. > :01:09.to be left skint, I'm not going to have any money left. I'm going to be

:01:10. > :01:16.constantly paying for my gas all the time. And it's scary, very scary.

:01:17. > :01:22.You need to get a fair deal. The system is broken and we're going to

:01:23. > :01:25.fix it. When you're trying to run a business, you're being as clear as

:01:26. > :01:28.you can, as concise with your suppliers and customers. Then you've

:01:29. > :01:33.got this industry which, really, is very unprofessional in terms of

:01:34. > :01:39.trying to trip you up, basically. In fact, doing their very best to rip

:01:40. > :01:42.you off. The blame lies with Government, for not having had the

:01:43. > :01:46.strength to take this on. It's costing too much. I've got a

:01:47. > :01:52.pension, but if you think about paying 160 or something like that

:01:53. > :01:57.month... I don't consider myself poor. I manage. But with

:01:58. > :02:01.difficulties. I think there are about six enormous companies. When

:02:02. > :02:04.ministers are talking about competition, it's a bit of a joke,

:02:05. > :02:10.really. It looks very, very much like a monopoly. The real test of

:02:11. > :02:15.leadership is not whether you stand up to the weak. That's easy. They're

:02:16. > :02:17.making huge profits for their shareholders, but people are turning

:02:18. > :02:20.off their heating and unscrewing their light bulbs. The Government

:02:21. > :02:24.sit back and say, well, they can't do anything about it. I'm sure they

:02:25. > :02:29.can do something. But they don't wish to do anything about it. The

:02:30. > :02:33.real test of leadership is whether you stand up to the strong. If we

:02:34. > :02:35.win that election in 2015, the next Labour Government will freeze gas

:02:36. > :02:40.and electricity prices until the start of 2017.
