0:00:31 > 0:00:35backing people who want to work hard and do the right thing.

0:00:37 > 0:00:40By taking tough decisions to help people today,

0:00:40 > 0:00:44we're restoring our fortunes at home and our reputation abroad.

0:00:44 > 0:00:48This is what Conservatives are doing right across the country,

0:00:48 > 0:00:50in local government, in the National Assembly,

0:00:50 > 0:00:53at Westminster and in Europe.

0:00:53 > 0:00:56In Wales, we know that European money has helped

0:00:56 > 0:00:58some of our poorest communities,

0:00:58 > 0:01:01but we also know that people today feel the EU

0:01:01 > 0:01:03is heading in the wrong direction.

0:01:03 > 0:01:05It's why David Cameron wants a new settlement

0:01:05 > 0:01:09which is better for Britain and better for Wales.

0:01:09 > 0:01:11Next year, you'll be asked to vote in elections

0:01:11 > 0:01:16and decide who stands up for Wales in Brussels.

0:01:16 > 0:01:19It will be a clear choice between the Conservatives,

0:01:19 > 0:01:23who've promised to give you a say on Britain's future in Europe,

0:01:23 > 0:01:26a new settlement based on fairness, on flexibility,

0:01:26 > 0:01:30making both Britain and Europe more competitive,

0:01:30 > 0:01:32or Labour, who'll deny you a voice

0:01:32 > 0:01:36while handing over more power and more money to Brussels.

0:01:36 > 0:01:40Under Labour, Britain's problems went beyond the deficit.

0:01:40 > 0:01:42As new powers emerged across the world,

0:01:42 > 0:01:45Britain fell behind in the global race

0:01:45 > 0:01:48and Wales fell behind the rest of Britain.

0:01:48 > 0:01:49For the last three years,

0:01:49 > 0:01:52the Conservative Party has worked hard

0:01:52 > 0:01:54to put our country back on track.

0:01:54 > 0:01:58In the coming months, we'll ask people to let us finish the task.

0:01:58 > 0:02:00We know that Britain deserves better -

0:02:00 > 0:02:03better than Ed Miliband's same old Labour,

0:02:03 > 0:02:06better than Carwyn Jones's same old Labour, too.

0:02:06 > 0:02:10All they promise is more spending, more borrowing, more debt,

0:02:10 > 0:02:13services cut or downgraded, choice denied,

0:02:13 > 0:02:16exactly what got us into a mess in the first place.

0:02:16 > 0:02:19We know there is much still to be done

0:02:19 > 0:02:22to undo the damage of the Brown/Blair Labour government.

0:02:22 > 0:02:24It's why the choice in the coming months is clear -

0:02:24 > 0:02:29letting Labour make a mess of our country all over again,

0:02:29 > 0:02:33or Conservatives, helping businesses create more jobs,

0:02:33 > 0:02:36helping hard-working people with the cost of living,

0:02:36 > 0:02:40supporting the elderly, the vulnerable and those most in need.
