0:00:18 > 0:00:20Look, there's uncertainty over Brexit,

0:00:20 > 0:00:21but we want the best deal for Wales.

0:00:21 > 0:00:25That means Wales' voice has to be heard both in the UK

0:00:25 > 0:00:27and in Europe and we need to make sure that

0:00:27 > 0:00:29the deal is good for Wales.

0:00:29 > 0:00:31We're going to leave the EU, that doesn't mean, of course,

0:00:31 > 0:00:34that we don't have any role in making sure that Wales gets

0:00:34 > 0:00:37the best deal possible, and that's exactly what we'll be fighting for.

0:00:38 > 0:00:42'It is vital that we not only keep our promises,

0:00:42 > 0:00:46'but also take every opportunity to build on our successes.'

0:00:46 > 0:00:48Keeping promises - that's what it's all about.

0:00:48 > 0:00:50Between 2011 and 2016,

0:00:50 > 0:00:54we kept all the promises that we made at the election in 2011,

0:00:54 > 0:00:57despite the budgets that we had being subject

0:00:57 > 0:00:59to cuts year after year after year.

0:00:59 > 0:01:01That's the way you gain people's trust.

0:01:01 > 0:01:04£100 million extra for schools to raise standards,

0:01:04 > 0:01:08100,000 new apprenticeships for people of ALL ages,

0:01:08 > 0:01:1230 hours of free childcare a week for families -

0:01:12 > 0:01:14we know the pressures that families are under.

0:01:14 > 0:01:15A new treatments fund in the NHS

0:01:15 > 0:01:17so that people with life-threatening illnesses

0:01:17 > 0:01:20will get access to the medicine and the treatments that they need.

0:01:20 > 0:01:23A new rate relief scheme for businesses,

0:01:23 > 0:01:24a permanent one this time around,

0:01:24 > 0:01:28to help small businesses to grow and prosper in the future.

0:01:28 > 0:01:31And for older people, those who have to go into care,

0:01:31 > 0:01:33we're doubling the capital limits

0:01:33 > 0:01:35so they can keep more of the money that they earned.

0:01:35 > 0:01:37And there are other challenges for us.

0:01:37 > 0:01:39We want to make sure that our youngsters

0:01:39 > 0:01:41have the digital skills they need for the future,

0:01:41 > 0:01:44we're going to create a Welsh Development Bank,

0:01:44 > 0:01:47and, of course, look at ways of helping creative industries,

0:01:47 > 0:01:50so important now in the modern Welsh economy.

0:01:50 > 0:01:55And we're also going to create a million Welsh speakers by 2050.

0:01:55 > 0:01:56Ambitious, but doable.

0:02:00 > 0:02:03Very soon, we know that Wales and the UK will begin

0:02:03 > 0:02:06the negotiations to leave the European Union.

0:02:16 > 0:02:18Look, we're not going to lock the doors

0:02:18 > 0:02:21against doctors and nurses who bring their skills into Wales,

0:02:21 > 0:02:24we're not going to shut up shop against people who come here,

0:02:24 > 0:02:28students who pay as students and who contribute to Wales.

0:02:28 > 0:02:31We welcome all those people who come to our country who are going to

0:02:31 > 0:02:35make a contribution to our economy and our society.
