0:07:42 > 0:07:46the disciples came to Jesus, saying unto him,

0:07:49 > 0:07:54And he said, "Go into the city to such a man, and say unto him,

0:07:54 > 0:07:59"'The Master saith, My time is at hand.

0:07:59 > 0:08:03"'I will keep the Passover at thy house with my disciples.'"

0:08:04 > 0:08:07And the disciples did as Jesus had appointed them,

0:08:07 > 0:08:10and they made ready the Passover.

0:08:10 > 0:08:14And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it,

0:08:14 > 0:08:19and broke it and gave it to the disciples, saying, "Take, eat.

0:08:19 > 0:08:20"This is my body."

0:08:22 > 0:08:25And he took the cup, and gave thanks and gave it to them,

0:08:25 > 0:08:28saying, "Drink ye all of it,

0:08:28 > 0:08:31"for this is my blood of the New Testament,

0:08:31 > 0:08:35"which is shed for many, for the remission of sins.

0:08:37 > 0:08:38"But I say unto you,

0:08:38 > 0:08:41"I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine

0:08:41 > 0:08:45"until that day when I drink it anew,

0:08:45 > 0:08:47"with you, in my Father's kingdom."

0:14:55 > 0:15:00George Herbert shares his vision of God's generous invitation to all.

0:15:02 > 0:15:08Love bade me welcome; yet my soul drew back,

0:15:08 > 0:15:10Guilty of dust and sin.

0:15:11 > 0:15:15But quick-eyed Love, observing me grow slack

0:15:15 > 0:15:17From my first entrance in,

0:15:17 > 0:15:20Drew nearer to me, sweetly questioning

0:15:20 > 0:15:21If I lack'd anything.

0:15:23 > 0:15:27"A guest," I answer'd, "worthy to be here:"

0:15:28 > 0:15:31Love said, "You shall be he."

0:15:33 > 0:15:38"I, the unkind, ungrateful? Ah, my dear,

0:15:41 > 0:15:45Love took my hand and smiling did reply,

0:15:45 > 0:15:49"Who made the eyes but I?"

0:15:50 > 0:15:54"Truth, Lord; but I have marr'd them: let my shame

0:15:54 > 0:15:57Go where it doth deserve."

0:15:58 > 0:16:03"And know you not," says Love, "who bore the blame?"

0:16:06 > 0:16:09"My dear, then I will serve."

0:16:11 > 0:16:17"You must sit down," says Love, "and taste my meat."

0:16:19 > 0:16:22So I did sit and eat.
